What if your computer won't let you resize any pictures? The computer I have doesn't support anything that I can use. And my mom has rules against having all the pictures piled up in her files for resizing.

^ And whichever site you're hosting the images on (tinypic or photobucket or whatever) has a tool that lets you edit the images. You can resize it there...or not use an image at all.

You're not understanding, to use tinypic, photobucket and all those different photoshops. I have to take the picture and save it to my computer to get it to the other site. I can't do that because my mom already has too many pictures on her computer for me to put my own and not have the computer crash because of it all.

If it's already on tinypic it can be edited without you having to save it and re-upload it.

Photobucket as a upload from a url tab, you can just use that and not save the pic.

I haven't ever used tinypic other than once and it messed up my computer, same with photobucket. My computer is old. My mom has had it for more than 15 years.. I guess that's why it doesn't work.

I don't like this. How is 200x200 that big? It isn't exactly huge, and you can see more of the character(s) that way.

I don't know about anyone else, but my computer goes rather slow with all the pictures. It being 100x is good to me. I prefer not using pictures anyway.

I have a question, I understand that you are keeping this rule, but why did this rule come about? You've been fine with this for the longest time, and now all of a sudden you change it, I'm just wondering.

Users were getting the rp posts with pictures within their search results and it was making it harder to search for things on Mibba having to navigate through the large pictures. Most were asking for there to be a no-pictures-at-all rule to be made. This is the compromise.

I posted this in the journal section because I was sick to death of people messing up RPs by not knowing the proper etiquette for how to do it (not just the basic grammar rules, I mean, generally just annoying people like hell). This version's specifically for The Tudors RP because we had problems with this earlier, but it could be edited to fit a "Real" RP as well as an "Action" RP.

Could we have an outline of basic guidelines, similar to this, perhaps, so that we can improve the general standard of RPing?
