Why don't you like her? I quite enjoyed her, I just felt like J.K. Rowling didn't expand her character enough. Personally, I felt like there was a lot of potential and then you realize she only fit the purpose of being Harry's girlfriend/future wife/bearer of his offspring.

My least favorite? Bella Swan. Ugh, she just seemed like a cardboard cutout with less personality. Too bland.

Either Harry Potter, Bella Swan, or Edward Ferrars (Sense and Sensibility). Harry is a whining pansy. Bella is a selfish twat. Edward is....UGH *flails around incessantly*

I know this question wasn't directed at me, so I hope you don't mind that I'm putting my two cents in. I personally feel that Ginny could have been a great character had we actually seen her character develop over the books. In addition to that I feel that JKR was maybe trying a little too hard to get people to like Ginny which made me indifferent to the character, bordering on dislike. I feel like her flaws aren't presented as flaws - the fact that she badmouths Fleur and calls her 'phelgm' isn't presented as something all that bad considering everyone around her laughs. And I feel that I'm told Ginny's awesome instead of just being able to make up my own mind about the character. Granted the story's generally limited to Harry's point of view, but I still found it a bit irritating.

Erik from the House of Night series, Umbridge from Harry Potter, and sometimes I hate Bella Swan.
Erik because he's such an ego sensitive, cowardly asshat, Umbridge cuz of obvious reasons, and Bella cuz she can get really whiny

I read the first book in a series called Stray, and whilst the book held my attention, I just wanted to punch the protagonist. It didn't start well, as the author had named her 'Faythe'. She was just such a caricature of a strong willed female. It wasn't even funny.

    Ginny Weasley.
She wasn't developed and I see no point in her character. She is essentially only there as Harry's future wife and Ron's sister. We're told she's perfect at everything and as it's been said, her flaws weren't portrayed as flaws. But of course the Chosen One's future wife must be impeccable in every aspect. As I was reading the series I felt more and more that Ginny was simply inserted into the story because J.K Rowling felt she needed another big female character besides Hermione.

    Apart from her:
every character in Twilight with the exception of Jane, Louis from The Vampire Chronicles, Jace from The Mortal Instruments, Wendy from The Shining and Rachel and Ellie from Pet Semetary.

    I've got more!

Zoe from the house of night series.. Oh god she is SO annoying.
Neferet, also from the house of night series. She's just a psycho bitch. And I thought she was so nice in the first book.. :/
Renesmee Cullen: She's just a freak.
James Potter I from Harry Potter: he was an arrogant asshole when he was younger. And I'm not too sure he grew up entirely. Lily shouldve gotten with Snape in my opinion.
All the characters from twilight excluding Seth Clearwater...

Joffrey Baratheon from the A Song of Ice and Fire series
Least of all for having Ned Stark executed, mostly because he abused poor Sansa. And because of what he did to her and Tyrion in ASOS. I cheered when he got poisoned Shifty He was just so vile.

Also from the same series I really dislike Walder Frey and Roose Bolton because of the Red Wedding.

And (from the same series again) Ramsay Bolton because of what he did to Theon Greyjoy. But also the disgusting stuff he does to women as a sport made me loathe reading about him even more.

Then again all these characters (except maybe Roose) are written so you want to repeatedly pummel them in the face so not liking them probably justifies my dislike for me XD

I pretty much always hate how Jane Parker/Boleyn is written because part of her confession put an innocent man to death, although she is a favorite femme fatale of mine.

All the villains from the World Of Hetar series aside from the leader of the Yafir and Durga. I realize they're villains and therefore supposed to be troublesome, but I can't help but really want Lara to have a happy ending and an easier way at it. Although Kol gets slightly less annoying when he realizes he's actually kind of in love with Lara.

The crazy girl from Red is for Rememberance. Her name escapes me at the moment. I really love Laurie Faria Stolarz's work, but she really could have come up with a better antagonist. The two from the previous book were perfect, as was the one in the fourth one, but I really hate Annoying Pyscho Clingy Girl from RIFR.

On that note, also the girl from book five, Jacob's ex. The whole book itself was a flop to me, aside from the flashbacks, but really? You're going to be a stereotypical mean girl and try stealing back your ex when everyone could be fighting some homicidal bad guys? Lame.

Oh my goodness I hate her too! Absolutley despise her character.

I know I'm going to get a lot of hate on this, but I couldn't stand Katniss from Hunger Games.

So there's a favourite character and now there's a least favourite. :} Just thought it'd be good. If it's duplicated (although I checked), feel free to lock or tell me and I'll report it.

My least favourite character would be Chris in Flowers in the Attic. He's the oldest and seems the most childish and is completely unaware of what his mother is doing when his twelve year old sister knows a lot more and is more mature. He just annoys me with his oblivious and childish attitudue.
Aw I liked Chris. OMG NO!

For me, it would have to be Zoe (or Zoey, however it's spelled) from the House of Night. I cannot stand her. I hate her so much... ugh. Disgust

Wormtail from Harry Potter. He's a beautifully developed character and all. But the amount of hatred I have towards him is unbearable. It's probably because I like the Marauder era way too much. tehe

Simon from the Mortal Instruments. He annoys the hell out of me. And with the last book being in mostly his point of view wanted to make me claw my eyes out. I feel like he's still in love with Clary and is just hoping one day she'll suddenly change her mind about him. And becoming a vampire did nothing to his character.

Wormtail from Harry Potter. He's a pathetic, snivelling coward and how he got into Gryffindor is beyond me.
Pansy Parkinson from Harry Potter. She's an annoying, stuck up twat.
Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter, enough said.
Bella Swan from Twilight. Boring, has no redeemable qualities whatsoever and if you looked up 'Mary-Sue' in the dictionary, her name and picture would be the definition.
Edward Cullen from Twilight. He's a Gary Sue, he's boring, he is a stalker and he's a pedophile.
Rose Hathaway from Vampire Academy. She's annoying, conceited and she overestimates herself. She also has a serious case of verbal diarrhea and she gets a whole 'woe-is-me' attitude when things don't go her way.
Dimitri Belikov from Vampire Academy. A tougher version of Edward minus the stalking part.

THIS. I liked them both a lot in the first book, especially Fang, but that quickly developed into dislike as the series progressed. Iggy ftw. tehe
