Comment Swap

I just read the other comments and see this is happening although I have received no comments at all and other people seem to have received some. What's the point in starting something like this if its not going to be maintained properly!!?? Does Mibba actually still get looked after or should I just give up and post my writing on another website, seems like a bunch of kids have set this website up then got bored of it. So disappointed really, I have always told people what a great place this is to come and put your writing up but completely changed my mind just lately its actually turning out to one of the worse places to do it. Sort it out or just admit it failed completely and get rid of it please as your just making us all waste all out time.

I've sent around 5 commenta and I have yet to get one back. How long does it usually take to get a comment back?

The comment swap feature currently isn't working properly. You're best to make your own comment swap in the blogs or to visit the comment swap thread in the forums :)

Hey there! So, I would like to do the Swap again now that I'm on here a bit more. I posted my first story tonight in about a year and I tried to get a story to read but it says that there is one waiting. The problem is that the story is not there for me to read and it won't let me get a new one..

You could try hosting a comment swap via the blogs section or using the Story Comment Swap thread :)

No idea, unfortunately. It's something only the site creator can look into for us.

So, I got a story, and I read it all the way through, and I commented on it, and I definitely made the requirement I mean I posted feedback for chapter-by-chapter and overall, critiquing both the writing/style/grammar/etc. side and the characters/plot side. The comment is over a thousand words long. I definitely went over 200 characters - it's 6,600-something characters. ...But I keep going back to the comment swap tab, and it won't let me pick a story for other people to comment on, it just keeps sending me back to the same story telling me I need to comment on it first, when I already did.

How do I tell it that I commented?

So, I've posted three comments, all of which follow the guidelines, yet, I have not reviewed any comments back. How long does it usually take to receive comments?

The comment swap feature is broken, has been for a while, and probably won't be fixed any time soon.

aww... I'm thinking I might switch to wattpad. I love this site overall but it's easier to get people to view your stories on wattpad.

I've commented on several stories in comment swap, but have not received anything back. How long do people generally wait for comments back? Thanks in advance. This is a great idea!

So, is this the thread that I come to when I want to do a comment swap, or is there different thread? since the comment swap page is being weird?

The Comment Swap feature has been glitchy for years now, if you want to exchange comments you can make a blog about it (some users make comment swap blogs, so keep a look out for them). You can also post in this thread. And if you look on your My Mibba page, you can find Leave a Comment, Take a Comment, where you comment on two stories on the list before submitting your story to be featured.
