Here I am

Tyler caressed her cheek and made her look at him. "Well now you'll always have someone to stick up for you." he said and leaned in and softly pressed his lips to hers.

Phoenix laughed. "I wish I could see what you see about me because I don't." she said and and took a bite of the spagetti.

Hailey stiffened slightly when he kissed her before closing her eyes and kissing him back. Keeping her arms close to her chest though she made, unwittingly harder for him to deepen the kiss.

Deric looked over at her with a raised eyebrow. "Well you don't have to see what I see in you. All you have to do is trust me when I saw I do see it." he leaned down and kissed her cheek softly.

Tyler kept the kiss soft her body telling him two things. He slowly pulled back and looked at her. He took her hand and looked at her wondering what she would say.

Phoenix cheeks turned a faint red. She bit her lip and smiled then went back to eating. "I guess so." she thought and smiled at him.

Hailey looked at him for a moment, not quite sure what to do or say. Biting her lip for a moment, she leaned forward and pressed her lips to the base of his neck.

Deric grinned and started eating.

Tyler gulped and looked at her. "Oh." he said guessing that must be how she felt. He hopped she felt like he was when she did that. Tyler hugged her and rubbed her back. She was comforting like a warm bubble bath.

Phoenix soon finished and looked around that the kids there. It was shocking to her that they where the outcasts of the world when to her they where like family all in a special way.

Hailey leaned back against his chest and smiled softly. She looked up athim, leaning her head against his shoulder. "I'm not gonna lie, I like being welcomed to a new school like this."

Deric looked at her and smiled. "That was ssooo sappy." he teased with a grin. "But a very true statement." he said a he finished his food.

Tyler chuckled. "Well this welcome is special, just for you." he said. Tyler looked down at her. "So other then being put in a fire chamber and being harassed by my ex girlfriend how is your first day going? Do you like most the people?

Phoenix looked at him and rolled her eyes thinking of her definition of family and the sibling rivalry. "That was anything but sooo sappy." she said and chuckled.

Hailey looked at him and laughed. "Well besides being nearly killed one by crazy girl with button to fire chamber and crazy girl with powers, I got my first kiss. A really cute guy held me in his arms ssooo many times and mostly people are nice. So pretty good day."

Deric laughed and grinned at her. He stood up and then held out his hand to help her. "What do you want to do now?" he asked.

Tyler chuckled. "Your first kiss hun?" he smiled and cupped the side of her face in his hand leaning in. "Did it go something like this?" he asked and kissed her so gently again. He loved the sensation of her lips on his. It was like water to a thirsty man.

Phoenix chuckled and took his hand. "Sleep. Taking care of Hailey is to much work, she makes me sleepy." she said. 'Thank goodness she had Tyler to take over for me.' she thought.

Hailey kissed him back, she wrapped her arms around his neck and moved closer to him. She loved the taste of his lips on hers. Running her fingers through his hair, she tugged on the ends gently.

Deric looked at her and nodded. "Okay, we'll I will walk you back to your room and then you can sleep until I get bored and need you to entertain me." he grinned and winked at her.

Tyler smiled and then moaned a little as she tugged on his hair. He put a hand on the small he her back and pushed her so their boddies where smooshed together. He countinued to kiss her it slowly getting deeper.

Phonix chuckled. "Deric." she teased a push and starting back toward her room. "And no dream reading." she said to him.

Hailey smiled and kissed him back before pulling away from him. She looked away from him and smiled. She tucked some of her hair behind her ear.

Deric grinned and kissed her cheek. "As you wish." he said softly. He looked away from her and sighed. "It's so tempting though."

Tyler grinned. "Sorry." he said lessening his grip on her but kissed her newly exposed cheek.

"No, not mine you can do it with someone else but not me." she said and chuckled trying to hid her blush. He sure was kissing her cheek alot not that she minded to much.

Hailey shivered when he kissed her neck. She not her lip softly, trying to hold back a moan. Moving closer to him, she straddled his lap.

Deric grinned at her and winked. "Of course...I promise. Your dreams will remain private...maybe."

Tyler looked at her and just hugged her. This was dangerously close to something they where not ready for yet. He still had to ask her out.

Phoenix punched him lightly then gave him a hug and opened her door. "My dreams are mine." she said. "See you..." she said and closed her door. She then stretched and started to strip down to her shirt and panties.

Hailey moved so that she was next to him, leaning against him. "So tell me about yourself?" she asked softly.

Deric smiled as she closed the door and he turned, with his hands in his pockets. He began walking away while whistling.

Tyler grinned his arm around her. "Mmm well I grew up in an orphanage since I could crawl. My parents knew what I was when I started to move to fast while crawling so they left me. I don't know who they are. Anyways I grew up there tell I was eleven then started to get into trouble and the headmaster came to get me."

Phoenix crawled into bed and smiled. She curled into her pillow and slowly fell asleep.

Hailey listened to him patiently. She wrapped her arm around his waist. "I'm sorry." she said softly. She kissed his cheek gently.

Deric walked by her room and couldn't help but peek into her dreams. Just one little peek.

"It's no big deal. I've had lots of time to get use to it and you didn't do anything wrong." he said and kissed her head. After I came here I learned how to use my gifts for good made tons of friends and for once felt like I wasn't a freak. It's nice but I wont have to tell you that." he said. "So what's your story?" he asked.

Phoenix sat in a dark room the only thing light in the room was her. She was completely consumed in fire and hit hid her body well though you just tell she was naked. There was water dripping to her right and it was cold though it did nothing to Phoenix. A tray was shoved into the room through the little crack under the door and the guy looked in laughing. "Eat up mutant." Phoenix eyes snapped up her eyes like a cats and she smirked and then you could here the man screaming and smell the burning of flesh.

Hailey looked away from him and wrapped her arms around her legs. "My parents were killed in a car accident when I was two. I only remeber a few things about them. My half brother, Vincent, took me in and raised me. He was a mutant too. He could hyponitze people and they would do whatever they said but...I think he got mixed in with something bad and one night he never came home. After about a month, social workers came for me and gave me to my uncle and aunt. I was eleven. They hit and abused me because I was a freak and then one day they told me they didn't want me and left me here."

Deric leaned against the wall next to her door. His eyes were wide but unseeing. He was so lost in her dream. He wished that he could reach in and change the dream. Make it better for her or something but alas his powers were only to view not to change.
