One Defense

Jake smiled softly when she did so. He loved puzzles and mind games. took the pen back gently, and marked and o in the middle of it. He chuckled softly. He handed her the pen back. He heard Aaron and glanced at him giving him a look gently. Don't ask for what you already know the answer to.

Anya glanced at Sammie and nodded. She handed her the keys and murmured, "Your turn to drive when we leave." She glanced back at Aaron hearing him. She just ignored that. She watched as he got a pen out and a napkin. Napkins ripped easily. Oh well. "I guess." she said. She murmured. She let him start through.

Sammie took the keys gently before looking back at the tic tac toe game. She smiled as she marked the x across from her first one and looked up at him with a smile.

Aaron looked at her for a moment before making marking in the napkin. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. It was three words. Looking at her, he smiled gently as he waited for you first guess.

Jake smiled and blocked her path with an o in her way. He smiled softly, and tehn gave her pen back before reaching into his pocket and getting his own pen. He chuckled.

Anya looked at the words and said, "A." She was going to get some of her vowels first. It always made it easier for it at least. She watched to see if she got it right or not.

Sammie smiled at him before looking down at the game. Biting her lip, she blocked him as well and smiled gently as she looked up at him. Taking another sip of her milkshake and dipping a fries into it. Smiling softly, she watched him.

Aaron looked at her and smiled softly before marking it on the paper. _ _ _ A_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. "Going for the vowels first." he said with a nod of approval as he watched her.

Jake hummed watching her move. He then made his own move grinning. He made another mark different from the rest, but made sure she wouldn't win. He looked up at her seeing as she was watching him. He smiled.

Anya watched him mark the paper. She saw it and hummed softly. She watched is and then muttered, "o" She wasn't good at these games. She was good at eye games. Where you picked things out of a pile and found things hidden.

Sammie blushed when he caught her looking at him. She glanced away quickly and bit her lip. Reaching out, she marked another tic tac toe square, not making eye contact with him again.

Aaron looked at her and smiled softly. "Good guess." he said as he added an 'O' onto the paper. _O_ A_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. He looked up at her with a smile on his face.

Jake blinked adn felt bad now. He then murmured, "You win." He chuckled seeing as she had two winning moves she could use and he could only put his O in one. He chuckled and said, "I suck at this game."

Anya glanced back and nodded. She looked at the letters she had left and said, "S' She wondered if that would be one. She knew it couldn't spell either of their names because both had two A's in it, so she could take that off the list to guess.

Sammie marked the paper and looked up at him, smiling. She flashed him a thumbs up sign before turning to look at her sister and Aaron's hang man game. Bitting her lip, she tried to figure out what it could be.

Aaron looked at her and shook his head as he drew a straight line on the paper. "No S's" he said as he looked at her and smiled gently. "Sorry," he said with a chuckle.

Jake smiled back and said, "You beat me. I surrender." He raised his hands up in defeat and chuckled softly. He then looked over at the hangman game. He didn't even know what the hell it was.

Anya studied the piece again and murmured, "D." She didn't really care. She knew she wasn't suited for this type of game. Her brain didn't work that way, but it was alright. It was still interesting to her all the same.

Sammie looked at her sister and thought for a moment before writing E and Y on a paper. She slid it over to her sister before looking at Jake for a moment.

Aaron looked at her and shook his head. "Nope," he sai as he naked another mark before he watched the napkin slide across the table. "I suppose that I will let you get help." He said teasingly.

Jake watched the match and then looked at Aaron and said, "You're just cruel ya know that." He chuckled softly before leaning back in his seat. He watched the two and smiled softly. He glanced at Sammie and gave her a smile.

Anya saw Sammie and raised an eyebrow and said, "Alright, Y." She then looked back at him her green eyes piercing. She leaned on the glass feeling it heat her back up. She glanced around the little cafe and then saw someone she thought she wouldn't see again. She merely shook her head/

Sammie smile back softly before looking away. Taking another napkin, she made another tic tac toe board and held the own out to his with a questioning look on her face.

Aaron looked at her and smiled before laughing at Jake's comment. "Maybe a little," he agreed before adding YO_ A_ _ _ _ _ _ _ Y.

Jake blinked and chuckled and said, "Sure." he then made a mark first this time, his o going in the top right corner. He smiled back at her gently.

Anya looked at it and then took a pencil and wrote in the letters she thought it was. YOUAREPRETTY. She glanced up at him and said, "That right?" She was ignoring the urge to leave.

Sammie smiled as she put her x in the middle and looked up at him. Biting her lip gently, she glanced over at the hangman game and her eyes widened. Looking up at her sister, she wondered what she was thinking.

Aaron watched her and bit her lip. "Yeah, you are right." he said gently as he nodded. He took another sip of his milkshake and he smiled happily at the people.

Jake chuckled and put and o in the spot next to his own. He looked over seeing the game. He looked at Aaron shaking his head lightly. Idiot. He chuckled.

Anya sighed and just said, "I win." She then stretched popping her back. "Hey Sam, you ready to leave?" She asked her looking at her. She then raised an eyebrow. She was getting her barrier up again.

Sammie winced as her sister popped her neck and she frowned. Shrugging she put her pen in her pocket. Looking up at her sister, she smiled gently before looking over at Jake. Moving her hands, she made it clear that she wanted to get out of the booth.

Aaron looked at them both and frowned slightly. "Maybe we can um...do something another time. Milkshakes?" he said. He groaned slightly. "I wish I was smooth." he said as he ran his fingers through his hair.

Jake nodded softly. He then got up letting her out. He sat back down once she was out and said, "See you guys later." He offered a smile. He glared at Aaron from the corner of his eyes. Once the twins had let he looked at Aaron and said, "Idiot." He laughed though.

Anya got out once he got up and let her out. She heard him and said, "Maybe." She looked at Sammie and smiled softly. She led the way out to the car. She got into the passenger seat gently.

Sammie followed her sister out and got into the driver's seat. She hoped that when she started driving. Pulling out if the parking lot, she began to make her way home as she glanced over at her sister when the chance was given.

Aaron flopped back into the booth and groaned. "Yeah, exactly." He said as he ran his fingers through his hair. "That was terrible." He groaned out in despair.

Jake laughed and said, "You should've just come right out and said You were an idiot if you were gonna do that." He laughed softly. He then said, "I dunno, me and Sammie were doing well." He smirked at him.

Anya looked out the window before muttering, "Why did he do that?" She sighed and shook ehr head, "Doesn't matter." she closed her eyes lightly. She felt them stop and then got out and said, "Want me to help with the work, Sammie?" She smiled at her.

Sammie looked over at her sister and thought for a meant before shrugging. She wanted to say that she thought he might think she was pretty but she remained silent. Biting her lip gently, she drove home.

Aaron groaned. "Shut up. You know you can my get any with Sammie without getting Anya's approval." He said as he sat up. "This is going to be a lot harder than I thought." He said with a frown.
