One Defense

Anya cuddled into Sam wanting her to feel better. She knew she was fighting to make sure she was okay in front of Anya, and Anya didn't like that. She frowned and saw her signals and frowned. "You better sleep later, Sammie...you need it." She let up on her and smiled before nodded.

Jake laughed and said, "JUst a couple of bulldozers?" He smiled softly, glad he was near his best friend. Hearing his words, he looked at his hands and said, "Yeah. I wanted to kill him." He sighed adn then pressed his face in his hands before shaking it off. "Just keep doing what you're doing." He murmured.

Alex nodded and chuckled before looking down and sighing softly. He ran his fingers through his hair before wincing slightly at the feeling if the wound on his side. "Fuck," he muttered under his breath as he felt the spot for himself. Still tender, he thought with a frown painted on his face as he sighed again and glanced at Jake.

Sam nodded as she pushed herself up and headed toward Alex's room. Walking, she smiled and flashed a thumbs up to Anya before she ran her fingers through her hair. Pushing the door open, she smiled when she saw both of the boys. Walking in, she smiled at Jake before looking at Alex with concern. He didn't look too good, she thought.

Anya smiled softly and shook her head as she walked in with her. She noticed how Alex looked and rolled her eyes. "Not messing with it, it'll only make it worse." She scolded, a glare going on her face at him. She sighed and said, "You sent the nurse out pretty quickly as well." She muttered as she crossed her arms, leaning against the wall. She noticed Jake looked better than Alex.

Jake frowned seeing his friend in pain. Hearing Anya, he blinked and then busted out laughing. "Damn," He chuckled towards Alex. He then nodded his head to Sammie waving at her. He then looked back at Alex, glancing at Anya. He knew she'd take care of him at this rate.

Alex chuckled as he looked at everyone around the room. "Okay...." He said. "Let's not all gang up on me please?" He asked with a good natured chuckle on his face. Motioning Anya closer to him, he smiled gently and whispered to her. "I'm sorry for making you worry," he whispered to her with a gentle smile on his face.

Sam looked and walked over to Jake and smiled gently as she moved to his side. Touching his shoulders gently, she rubbed them lightly and leaned down and kissed his cheek gently before pulling away and looking over at Anya and winked teasingly. Smiling lightly, she realized she liked being with these guys.

Anya sighed softly, not liking the fact that he refused to get help from the damn nurse. Hearing him, she simply gave him a look and said, "I'm not ganging on anyone, thank you very much." She walked over and heard him and made a sound before muttering, "Whatever." She sat down in a chair refusing to admit that she was worried.

Jake smiled softly, he felt her hands and winced softly at his left shoulder from the wound there. He smiled once more feeling her kiss his cheek and kissed her forehead before looking over at Alex. He chuckled seeing how they interacted. He wrapped his arms around Sam's waist and let his head lean on her side as he closed his eyes.
