[Awesome. Have fun while you were away? I'm back to 6 day work weeks now and I'm dying so I might stop replying to this.
I can't wait for this double job thing to stop in November ugh.]

Newt pissed... all over the floor and then headed out of the toilets again.

*sad face* I'm starting the exciting process of job hunting now...)

Chuck was glad when the woman took the hint and left. Due to glancing over towards the toilets occasionally, he didn't notice someone drop a small tablet into Newt's drink as they passed.

Also I'm writing a musical with a guy from work and possibly becoming a curator of a Dark Tower themed photography project I'M REALLY EXCITED RIGHT NOW]

Newt clambered back into his seat and leaned into Chuck a little bit. He picked up his glass but didn't drink yet.

Chuck put his hand on Newt's knee, idly rubbing small circlens into the fabric of his trouers with his thumb.

(Sure. XD)

[I feel like such a prat after today I missed like an hour of work]

Newt jumped a little when he felt Chuck's hand. Then he relaxed and smiled. "Should we..." he paused, trying to think of the word. "Shatterdome?"

(Lol.)

Chuck nodded and stood up, making sure that the movement didn't make Newt over balance.
"You okay to walk or should I call a cab?"

[Wasn't my fault, got in and my supe was like you're an hour early so I sat and talked to an ex co-worker while he had breakfast and then later we looked at the rota and went oh shit ]

Newt felt all wobbly but he managed to stay upright.

Chuck looked at him stand and immediately said, "Okay. Cab it is." He grabbed Newt's shoulder and steered him outside, pulling out his phone so he could call the taxi firm as soon as it was quiet enough.

(I've got a job now. Temping at a warehouse, doing the night shift because it pays more...)

[Yay! That job sounds uh thrilling? I'm now looking for something new, I got 6 weeks left until I'm laid off at the diner and I'm not sure if I'm allowed back next year ]

"I can walk," Newt argued. He pulled himself away from Chuck and walked ahead a little to prove his point.

(It's only until I can find something better to do. I'm applying for film/tv stuff - runner/internship type things.)

Chuck rolled his eyes and said, "Sure you can." He then took Newt's hand instead, but was surprised by how nice it felt. It'd been quite a long time since he'd let himself be affectionate with someone.

[I know the feeling. I'm only carrying on waitressing until my contract ends because it pays so well (and in spite of not being a people person I pick up like £10 in tips most nights haha) I'm now finishing prepping a pitch for a producer though and now I'm terrified of actually sending it off
Thoughhh I will mention that I might be starting up a project you might be interested in? I'm looking into funding / pulling in favours from local arts related people who I did favours for since I graduated. I'll explain it in more detail when I actually have something solid / a definite idea if it's going ahead if you want me too?]

Newt smiled when Chuck took hold of his hand and made no efforts to hide it. And it was great for a few minutes... right up until Newt announced that he was going to be sick.

(I worked out that in a typical shift I walk 6 miles, just back and forth around the warehouse...
Sure, sounds interesting.)

Chuck pointed him towards the gutter, figuring it was better than throwing up in the middle of the pavement. He made sure to keep out of the way, but reached out a hand tentatively to rub Newt's back in an attempt to be comforting.

[That sucks. I have a month to find a new job again
There might be more than one project now One exhibition, one TV/web series based... Everything has kind of exploded ]

Newt threw up. It wasn't pretty.

Chuck dug in his pockets until he found half a box of tic taks and offered them to Newt. He figured it would be better than nothing, even if it wasn't water.
"Feeling better now?"

[Ok no it now looks like i might be creative director and president of a film company WHAT THE HELL]

Newt glared at Chuck. "No," he muttered. And before he knew it he was vomiting again.

Chuck grimaced. He looked around to see if there was anyone who could get him some water, but there wasn't.

(I just remembered that Newt's drink was spiked, but then I looked back and I'm not sure he even drank any of it. )

Newt straightened himself up again and looked at Chuck, his eyes watery and his vision blurry. "I'm good," he said.

[I'm now applying to be a teacher in a desperate attempt to get a job after Joyland ]

(Yeah... Or they try and get someone else next time.)

"Up for getting a taxi now?" Chuck asked, looking a bit concerned.
