The one thing Sebastian didn't expect Kade to do was lean forward, pressing their warm lips together, the hand on the back of his neck making his skin feel hot and electric. The lips on his own felt fantastic, something he had never really thought about before. Never had he imagined he would be kissing his brother's best friend, something he had a feeling Eric would not be pleased with. But right now, and probably not even later, he didn't give a fuck what his brother thought about this. Kade's lips felt fuckin' incredible against his own and they were soft.

Before he even had time to react, Kade's lips were slowly gone, leaving Sebastian's own lips to feel cold. Frowning slightly, he shook his head to signal that he wasn't done just yet, grabbing Kade's face in both his hands, and pressed their lips fully together.

With little time to smile at Sebastian's response, Kade eagerly accepted the second kiss. His face tingling at Sebastian's touch. Even his hands were softer than Kade figured they could be. His stomach had dropped completely, in the most amazing way, as he pressed himself closer to Sebastian. Kade slid an arm around Sebastian's torso, keeping him close while the other fiddled with Sebastian's hair, turning his head slightly in order to deepen the kiss. He licked at the soft lips pressed against his mumbled incoherent words of nothing.

Kade was kissing Sebastian. Sebastian was kissing him. They were intertwined in each other in such a way Kade didn't understand. In the back of his mind, he wondered why it took so long. If he would have known that kissing him would feel like this, he would have done it a long time ago. But then again, they never were put in a situation like this. Kade never would have even considering being this way with Sebastian. He tried to recall how they had even ended up like this. Breathing each other in and kissing.

Kissing Kade was the best feeling in the world.

No, really. His lips were the softest (and only) ones he had felt against his own. It was amazing, the butterflies multiplying in his stomach, his heart was beating rapidly against his ribcage. Why had it taken so long to do this? He supposed it was because they had never really talked before, but goddamn. Now that he had a taste of Kade, why hadn't they done this before? Now Kade's arm was wrapped around his waist, the other hand playing with his hair like nobody ever had before. It felt amazing, and he couldn't help but feel himself falling under his spell. Nobody had ever been this close to him, he didn't let them. But here he was, letting Kade in.

He knew there was a possibility of his brother coming home at some point, interrupting their little make-out scene. He prayed to god Kade wouldn't pretend like nothing happened, because as cheesy as this was, this was Sebastians first kiss. And how shitty would it be to give his first kiss to somebody who was just going to pretend like it was nothing?

Moving closer, he pushed Kade gently against his closed bedroom door, pressing their bodies together so there was no space between them, a bright red blush on his cheeks. Sebastian moved his hands down his neck and his sides, resting them on his lower back to keep them pressed together.

Little did they know, they would be getting interrupted.

A gasp of a moan slipped through Kade's lips as his back made contact with the firm, cold door and Sebastian pressed their bodies together. Kade's body trembled under Sebastian's touch and his hands tugged at Sebastian, trying to bring them closer even though it was impossible to be.

How did this boy have this effect on him? This boy. He wasn't gay, he knew that. Never had Kade ever, ever, been attracted to another male nor did he ever have any intent of being so. Yet here he was with Sebastian, kissing his best friend's brother, and nothing felt so perfect. Kade had never been with another like this, so intense that his every move felt icy clear. Kade tried to remember the last girl he had been with but came up with nothing, not that it really mattered much. He knew this was much better than anything he had before. It brought on the though of whether this would ever happen again. Probably not.

He wondered how they would ever stop, and more so, he secretly wished that it never would. An answer to his plea came, but it was not one he had been hoping for. Kade panicked and quickly pushed Sebastian back. Eric was home. Kade looked at Sebastian, trying to regulate his breathing, of course something like this wouldn't last.

Sebastian was getting way too caught up in the moment, feeling himself falling hard and fast for the other male. Just this one kiss they were sharing together was enough to drive him crazy with want, something he had never felt before. Nobody ever wanted to kiss him like this, much less Eric's best friend. He tried to recall a moment where he had thought about this, but came up blank. He'd never wanted to kiss anybody as much as he did right now, and that's what he did.

Until he was shoved away.

A frown appeared on his lips as he stumbled back, his heart going from pounding to plummeting to the ground in five seconds flat. He knew this wasn't going to last long, but he had hoped that wouldn't be his reaction instead. Maybe it was best, after all.. Kade wasn't gay, he realized. This was just something to pass the time, until something better came along. Swallowing thickly, he rubbed the back of his neck and pushed past Kade, grabbing the handle of his door. "I'll let Eric know you're upstairs," he muttered, not looking at the other before opening the door, making his way downstairs.

"Hey, Eric." He called on his way down the steps.

Look on Sebastian's face as Kade pushed him away made him feel a lot like you would watching those animal abuse and rescue adoption commercials. Kade even half expected a voice to come from nowhere saying, "Hi, I'm Sarah McLachlan-". Instead he smacked with a, "I'll let Eric know." He tried to think of something to say back to Sebastian. Wait? Don't? And he kicked himself for not stopping Sebastian before he walked out of the room. Kade shook his hands, trying to relieve the numbness in them as he let his head fall back and let out a deep sigh. With a murmured "fuck", Kade gathered himself and left the room and followed Sebastian's trail downstairs, tripping over himself still dazed by Sebastian.

Kade frowned as he watched Sebastian walk into the other room. Did Sebastian regret it? Had he done something wrong?

He peered into the living room looking for Eric and let out his held breath. He imagined a scenario of what would have happened it Eric had actually walked in on him kissing Sebastian. Thank god he hadn't. If things weren't awkward even now, they would definitely be then.

Eric grabbed Sebastian around the neck and put him in a choke-hold, ruffling his hair playfully as any older brother would do. "Hey, little bro!" He teased him playfully, Sebastian putting up a fight. "Come on!" He huffed, squirming in his brothers arms and trying to wriggle himself out of his brothers strong arms, groaning and huffing. He hated being the little brother sometimes, always getting this treatment. It had its good things and bad things. "What kind of brother would I be if I didn't pick on you, Bassy?" He let go of his little brother, flicking his nose teasingly.

Scrunching his nose up, he shook his head and slapped Eric's hand away. "I told you to stop calling me that," he muttered, folding his arms across his chest and looked over at Kade before frowning once more, shaking his head, his cheeks a dusty pink color. There was no way he regretted kissing Kade, but he imagined that the other one did.

Laughing as he watched Sebastian and Eric horse around, Kade wished he had a brother. Although, in ways, Eric was like his brother. They grew up together; Kade was basically part of the family. Part of the family sounded weird when he thought about the fact he had kissed his "family's" brother just moments before. He wondered if Sebastian would say anything about it but figured on the latter, Kade definitely wouldn't be saying anything about it any time soon either. Not that he was ashamed, but really, how could explain that one when he himself didn't even understand it.

It made him sad almost, that it was a secret, but it was exciting at the same time.

He smiled at the two being the way they always were, only this time paying close attention to the way Sebastian reacted. Kade chucked at "Bassy" and his stomach fluttered as Sebastian frowned and blushed. Kade really wanted to kiss him again, and the butterflies in his stomach were a clear sign that it definitely was more than a in-the-moment thing.

Sebastian just scoffed as Eric continued chanting Bassy, showing no sign that he was going to stop anytime soon. Nobody called him that, he never allowed it. It was always Sebastian and that was it. But since it was his brother, he supposed it was alright. Kade on the other.. he blushed lightly just thinking about how the other could call him anything he wanted to and it would be alright. But, he didn't think that would be happening any time soon, especially with the way he was pushed away. Sebastian knew something along those lines was going to happen, he just blocked it from his brain and pretended like that kiss was never going to end, even though he knew deep down inside it had to at some point.

As soon as Eric noticed Kade was there, he smiled and lifted his hand in a form of greeting. "Sorry 'bout that, the new lady wanted me to make sure she was home safe." He said with a chuckle, Sebastian taking that as his cue to leave. "I'll just be heading up to my room," he muttered, turning on his heel to head up to his bedroom.

Kade opened his mouth to say something to Sebastian as he passed him but shut it. What could really say? Oh hey I know we just made out but I just want you to know that it was great and I wouldn't mind doing it again, and then again. Yeah, not a chance. Instead his face fell slightly and gave a small nod. It was normal for Sebastian to simply leave the room, but now for Kade it was hard to pretended that everything was normal. And when Sebastian had left, Kade felt bored with everything, all the warmth and energy he and gone with Sebastian's absence.

Faking a laugh at Eric's comment, "yeah man, I almost died just getting here." Kade looked over at the clock, noting how late it really was, well past his expected eight or nine. Had he and Sebastian really been up in his room that long? Damn, it was great. Kade felt the strongest urge to tell Eric about it, almost forgetting the fact it was his brother he had made out with. Almost.

As he got up to his room, he shut the door behind him and leaned against the wood, trying to calm his thudding heart. It was so hard to have to stand in that room with his older brother and his best friend, trying to pretend like nothing had happened between the two. He didn't know why, but he had been hoping maybe Kade would say something along the lines of it being more than a one time thing, but that didn't happen. Why would it with his brother standing right there by the front door? Sighing as he felt the prick of tears in the corner of his eye, he shook his head and told himself it would be a dumb thing to sit here and cry about, he was a man.

A man who was sad and possibly in love.

Scoffing to himself about how ridiculous that sounded, he just moved over to his bed and picked up the controller, setting it to one player and began playing it by himself, as always.

Downstairs, Eric watched his brother walk away with a raised eyebrow, wondering why his little bro was acting weirder than usual. Shrugging it off, he slipped off his soaking wet jacket and kicked off his shoes that were soaked through, sighing. "So what did you do while I was gone?' He asked casually as he hung his jacket up on the rack.

Kade shook the thoughts away and walked into the kitchen, grabbing himself another soda in hopes of soothing his throat. He choked a little on the drink at Eric's innocent question. Oh, if only you knew, he thought. "I couldn't find the damn remote down here, and Sebastian said you weren't around so we played Xbox," he summarized the night with a shrug, leaving out the climax. He knew that would raise a question, why play with Sebastian and not just leave, right? Maybe, maybe not. "The rain was so bad when I got here. I was actually pissed you weren't here," Kade laughed at the fact he really was more than happy Eric hadn't been here and still wished he weren't.

Taking his soda to the living room, Kade fished around in the couch for his phone and checked for any messages. Nobody important. He slid the phone in his back pocket and took another swig of his soda, turning back to Eric.

Sebastian just sat up in his room and continued to play his video games, a frown on his lips the entire time. He was dying a lot due to not really paying much attention to what was going on. His mind was on different things, and that was the person downstairs who was going right back to how it was when they hardly spoke. Well, what did he expect Kade to do? That was his best friend and he just kissed the younger brother. Eric would most likely be pissed, so why tell him? It just kind of.. hurt, a little. Sebastian knew getting involved wouldn't be a good idea, and he knew this wasn't going to end well either direction it went.

Eric just nodded his head, laughing slightly. "I didn't expect to be gone so long. But it was coming down hard, so I figured I'd get her home and stay for the brunt of it." He shrugged a shoulder, flopping down on the couch. He had sat at her house and watched a movie with her, not without a few heavy make-out moments of course, waiting out the worst part of it. It had lightened up when we was going home, but started getting worse again. "I bet that was weird, though, hanging out with my little bro. You two hardly ever talk," he said with a smile.

Nodding at Eric's story, one Kade really at the moment could care less about, he frowned at himself. For not reassuring Sebastian that the kiss really meant something- he wasn't sure what exactly it meant, but it did mean something. If it were just another kiss, Kade wouldn't be here thinking about it, wanting it, craving more.

With another gulp of his soda, Kade slouched himself into the soft leather of the chair nearest the couch, letting out a burp of satisfaction. "You know, it was kind of weird at first, but it was actually fun. He's not half bad. In fact, your brother might be stealing your best friend. Nothing like a little family competition," it came out as a joke but Kade knew he really meant it. He was really starting to realize that being around Sebastian was great, new, exciting and everything hanging out with Eric every day, doing the same old things, was not.

"He can be kinda cool sometimes," Eric said with a shrug of his shoulders, getting up from the couch to head into the kitchen and grab something to drink, picking up a can of coke. "Sometimes he's annoying, or really depressed a lot." He couldn't blame his brother, the kids at school weren't exactly helping with his personal life and being bullied off an on didn't help, either. "But for the most part he just kinda sits in his room all day blasting music and playing video games." He said after taking a swig of his coke, making an 'ah' sound at how refreshing that was. Eric didn't blame his brother for that, either, it wasn't like he had a long line of friends or even a boyfriend to keep him occupied.

Kade pondered the thought a minute and nodded. He never really had paid much attention at all to Sebastian until that night, and he really had no idea what he did with his free time, aside from the fact he was usually in his room. Kade swallowed the last bit of his soda, he always finished them so quickly. "Gotta admit though, he's a pretty good gamer," Kade bared a laugh as he recalled playing earlier with Sebastian. "Have you played that fantasy game? The one with the boss you have to kill? I'm not gonna lie it's pretty badass." A yawn slipped through at the end of the sentence as Kade glanced up at the clock. He stood, walking over to the window, pulling back the blinds to check out whether the rain had cooled down at all.

[forgive me, I am so lame. D; this is about Sebastian and Kade, haha. Soooo sorry.]

Eric laughed, shrugging a shoulder as he took a few more sips of his coke. "Kind of, I'm not much of a fantasy game kind of person. But it is pretty sweet," he admitted as he took a huge gulp of his coke, successfully finishing it off as he too checked the time. "Well, I don't see the storm settling down any time soon, so you're welcome to stay the night." Eric said as he finished it off with a yawn, stretching his arms out above him. "I'm gonna head off to bed a little earlier tonight, I have football practice in the morning." He said as he waved off Kade, turning to go up the stairs. "Do whatever until you're tired, night buddy." He said tiredly, heading up the stairs. Kade was like his other brother, so it was custom that he chilled and did whatever at his house anytime he wanted.

Sebastian had quit playing the video game that he was hardly playing in the first place anyway, turning off the game console and flopping back down on his bed, resting his hands behind his head as he propped himself up slightly and stared at the ceiling, a whole bunch of things floating through his mind. The kiss, how he felt.. he was so confused. Kade, surprisingly, meant a lot to him. And so did that kiss, his first one. God, he could still taste those lips on his. Had Kade ever kissed a boy before? Sebastian wondered, but figured not. All he could remember from long time ago was his brother and Kade talking about women.

"Yeah alright, later," Kade said casually still looking out the window. The rain hadn't let up at all since Eric got home. He let out a sigh that left a circle of steam on the cold window and he watched it quietly as it faded away. Kade's face was still feeling hot and he pressed it against the glass, giving himself an instant rush of cool that woke him up a little. He was tired but not tired enough to sleep.

Kade sauntered over to where the TV was mounted on the wall, looking at the shelves clutter with pictures below it. He looked from picture to picture, picking out Sebastian in each of them, chuckling lightly at the pictures he happened to be in- one from a family trip two years before that Eric's parents had offered Kade to join. He fingered the picture frame, studying the picture. Eric stood with his arm slunk around Kade's shoulders, both of them laughing at something not caught in the photograph. At first he didn't see Sebastian, but he was there. Standing on the opposite side of Eric, close to his parents, with a huge grin and ironically the only one looking at the camera. Kade's stomach tightened just looking at the snapshot of Sebastian's witty smile, causing Kade himself to smile.

The footsteps upstairs had stopped without Kade noticing. He looked around the empty room, making a face. Being alone sounded dreadful. He trudged up the steps and towards the guest bedroom, but stopped just before padding passed Sebastian's room. The lights were still on, he knocked lightly on the door. "You up?" He whisper-shouted through the door.

Sebastian could hear the footsteps coming to his bedroom door, eyebrows raised. At first he figured it might be Eric, but remembered the other male had come in before going to bed, saying a short goodnight before going into his own room that was by his own. So it couldn't be that, and his parents weren't due back until tomorrow. They had gone out with another married couple and were stopping by their house, but texted Sebastian and let him know they would be sleeping their due to the horrible weather outside, pounding on the roof tops. Normally Sebastian was out like a baby, the patter of the rain soothing him. But tonight he had way too much on his mind.

The sound of Kade's voice filled his ears, causing him to sit straight up in his bed and his stomach to instantly turn to mush. Swallowing thickly, he stood up and walked over to the door. "Yeah," he said softly before opening it and holding it open for Kade to walk in, wondering what he wanted. Glancing over at the digital clock on his bedside table, he noticed it wasn't that far off from ten, just being a few minutes passed it.

Not knowing what else to say, Sebastian just turned back around and sat down on his bed, wondering what the other male wanted. Of course, now that Eric was in bed and would be out for the rest of the night, (that boy could sleep through anything) Sebastian figured it had to do with what happened earlier.

"Hey," he mumbled as he stepped inside the room. He didn't really know what to say, but he instantly felt something the second he looked at Sebastian. "I'm sorry." He scratched a hand through his hair roughly as he rolled his eyes at himself, clearing his throat lightly just to make another sound. What a lame thing to say. Kade tried to think of something else, something clever, funny, anything really but wound up with nothing but a sigh. His eyes looked red as he sat down on his bed, probably tired Kade assumed as he looked down at his own feet and back up at Sebastian.

Kade's stomach danced as he looked at Sebastian. How would he explain what he was thinking when nothing he was thinking even made sense? As he looked at Sebastian, his body relaxed and he took a deep breath. "I-," he paused for a seconds before continuing, looking really anywhere but directly at Sebastian, "Are you upset with me?" It wasn't exactly what Kade wanted to asked but he waited for the answer anyway.
