Hi guys! Sorry for taking so long, but I spent the entire day revising yesterday until 2 am for an exam I sat this afternoon, but I should now be very much active in this thread! :)

First off, I watched Lemonade Mouth and enjoyed it so I'm really excited for this! And secondly, I was thinking my character could be a bit of a secret trouble-maker? Like, no one knows she's one but maybe in the girls' toilets secrets are put on the walls for people to see (both girls and boys' secrets) that she lies and worms to finds out (or instead of in the toilets, an anonymous blog that posts the secrets and everyone say see?). So she's really nosy but to everyone, she's the girl with the lesbian mother, rich father and older brothers that were perfect in school. And maybe, with her knack for writing those secrets, she exposed a secret of one of the other characters?

Ooh, and Lina, do you think my character could be flirty with Joey but doesn't actually like him? I just think she's one of those characters that likes putting on a front, using people and not sticking too close to anyone because of how her mother seemingly broke apart the family when she got with her girlfriend.

My girl's name is Isobel Becker, but do not shorten it down to "Iz" or "Izzy" because she hates that, and she'll be whatever band member that's left (I can't recall everyone deciding their positions? I know Alice is the singer but none of the others). Meet Isobel:

OMG she's a great character. And absolutely adorable, on top of that! I'm really excited! Do you a preference for what instrument/position you would like her in?

Both the blog and the stall secrets sound like good ideas. I think the blog would make it bigger and more mysterious! That's my two cents, if you're debating between the two.

I would like Reed to be the bassist, if no one else really wants it?

Not really, although I don't see Isobel as a drummer type of girl but she can be if someone else wants the position. And yeah, I was thinking that the blog would make it bigger and more "omg EVERYONE knows" which would means she could be really good in her IT class and with computers in general, even though the blog could be an anonymous one on Tumblr. Plus with the blog her gender wouldn't be known whereas secrets in the girls' toilets would be known to be female.

Isobel sounds so awesome. I mean like... she's definitely not someone you want to mess with because you know... you don't know what she might say about you in her blog thing-y. And of course they can be flirty but it's kinda like harmless flirt, right? Because Joey kinda isn't looking for romance and stuff.

I don't mind anything anyway. And More Than A Band is just something I picked up from the top of my head to name this thread. I definitely want another title for the story although I have no idea what.

Yeah... and maybe he started learning drums to practice his hands and feet coordination because it's kinda important for his sport thing. Which I decide is football. Or in America, it's called soccer.

Maybe she and Isobel can be a guitar duo. That'd be totally cool!! Especially during guitar solo! WOOT!! But if Kayleigh's agree for her character to be a guitarist.

I'm not a sport fan but I know a little bit about soccer here and there because my best friend is like super fanatic. So if I need to know anything, I can always ask her about it.

And maybe if the name is catchy enough, we can use the band name as the title also.

Yeah, the flirting would be completely harmless because Isobel doesn't actually like Joey but does it for fun.

And Isobel can be a guitarist.

Also band names are not my forte! But it's gotta be them, right? It's gotta be somewhat significant, like maybe they have their initial band name and then something happens and they change it because it encompasses all members?

Me too! I suck at naming stuff or coming up with titles. Even my band is named The Monkey Band.

I played soccer every day in elementary school but that's it. xD So I know a tiny bit about soccer! Maybe I can help too!

Band names are tough for me too!

I was in a band back in high school but we were called Less than Pi or <pi. xD

Maybe I can list some random song titles from my library that sound cool (but obviously we all have different tastes of what sounds cool though) and see if it gets anyone's imagination running?

I think Alter Ego, Password or Debris would be appropriate considering the meanings, like Password could be because they've built up walls to keep others out but in the end they end up getting each others "passwords" to let them in just an example.

Out of those three, Password doesn't sound like a band name you'd hear and have it fit when at a concert. And I know this is just a high school senior band, but I think putting them in phrases like the above might help.

I quite like Hysterie, Alter Ego and Debris. Somehow I couldn't see the boys agreeing to Heart Theater or Even Heaven.

Maybe after we've narrowed it down to like three name we like, we should look at them from our character's perspectives to see what their opinion on it would be? I mean, what I like is completely different to what Isobel likes so she might think Alter Ego is incredibly lame.
