Time was disappointed as the first several rooms just seemed to be filled with junk and dust. She'd hoped they would've found something at least. And then Nature said something about a pin ball machine. She sorted of "nudged" him out of the way so that she could look, and sure enough, there it was. "What in the hell is a pin ball machine doing in this place?" she asked as she dragged Nature into the room since apparently he still had her hand in his.

Fate wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing her face into his shirt. When he finished speaking, she pulled back a bit so she wouldn't just be mumbling into his chest, but rather than say something, she frowned a red smudge that was now on his shirt. She pulled back a little more, touching her face, and her fingers came back slick with blood. Except she knew for a fact that she wasn't bleeding. In fact, even if she had been, Death would've been sure to let her know. And she had left after he punched a wall. With a sudden groan, she pulled out of his arms and took his hands, which confirmed her suspicion. They were torn up bad. "Do you have to hurt yourself like this when you're angry?" she asked in exasperation as she looked up at him.

"I don't know," Nature said as he followed Time into the room, walking around the machine as he looked to see if it was was plugged in and still functioning, "But I'm wondering if it even works..." Nudging her away he stood in front of the machine, hitting the start button and grinning when the lights lit up, "Well, so far so good."

Death gave Fate a small smile, giving her hands a little squeeze as well, "It is the better alternative to hurting someone else..." he said in excuse, "It's not so bad, Fate. They'll heal - already starting to now - and they'll be as good as new in no time." She leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead, "But I'm sorry if it bothers you."

"Yeah. It turns on. Try playing a game," Time said, watching. From the looks of it, it wasn't just a pinball machine, but a pretty old one. She was actually wondering what it was doing here, honestly... Why anyone would bring a pinball machine to this place, not to mention how they had gotten it here.

Fate sighed softly, shaking her head at him. "We really need to find you a better anger management technique. You don't have to hurt anyone, yourself included." She leaned up and kissed his cheek. "Now, let's go get your hands cleaned up and then get a shower. I think I'm still covered in dirt from yesterday, and now we're both covered in blood."

Nature did as Time suggested, grinning as the pin ball began bouncing through the machine, "Wow. It actually works." He laughed a little, then pouted when he lost the ball after a few seconds. He fiddled with the levers a little, sighing, "Looked like come of the controllers are sticking though..."

Death nodded, keeping one of her hands in his as he lead her to the bathroom, "I'm thinking a shower is a good thing. And I hate seeing you in blood... so yes. At least getting you clean." Once they were in there he wrapped her in his arms, holding her close, "I'm glad he didn't hurt you," He whispered softly.

Time went over to look at what he was talking about. "Think maybe it might just be because of sticky kid fingers?" she asked, crouched down by a sticky control. She looked up at Nature. "Because with some q-tips and alcohol, I could fix that." Alcohol seemed to get any sticky substance off of anything and everything.

Fate let out a small, disbelieving noise. "You're one to talk. I can think of a couple of times where you actually did get hurt and I thought you were going to die. I just have a couple of scratches. You can't make fun of me for not being able to take care of myself anymore. I'm doing better than you." She stayed in his arms for a while, her arms wrapped around his waist, then pulled back. "Let me find some bandages for your hands."

Nature frowned at him, "Right... and we'll find those.. .where? Because I don't know about you... but I've never seen them here before." He stepped back to allow her a chance to look at the machine, "I just want to know how and why it's here."

Death
Death gave her a smile, "Shouldn't we bandage them after our shower?" He asked, bringing her back into his arms, "I just... Fate, I don't like him around you. I know that he's put everyone in danger, and that I've been hurt because of him... but I can't let that happen to you.'

Time made a face. "Yeah, this is only my second time here. I barely know where my own room is. Okay, so no fixing the pinball machine." She stood up. "I don't know. I was wondering the same thing. I guess someone liked pinball," she shrugged.

"You don't like anyone around me without you being there. You think the world is out to get me," Fate pointed out, sighing against his chest, though he did have a point about Chaos. She didn't trust him either... less and less the more Death has been getting hurt. "Don't worry about me though; I'll be fine." She poked him the best she could wrapped up in his arms. "You seem to be the target of getting hurt."

(Haha this one is easy to remember because it isn't freaking 280 pages long xD I think they're on day three of being stuck with Chaos. He already got Fate alone, and we were thinking that he was going to get everyone alone for some sort of chat or another before they were allowed to go back. Fate did the weird thing with hers and Death's threads -you could probably find in our messages where we talked about that- and... damn, Chaos had some master plan, but I can't remember it at the moment. I need to go back and find out what it is. It had something to do with controlling all the offices or something like that... maybe possessing Death or something along those lines? Like I said, I need to go back and refresh my memory. But yeah, that's the gist of things xD Fate and Death are about to get a shower, Chaos is MIA --they wish he was KIA-- and Nature and Time are just fucking off as usual haha)

((Ah! Yes, Chaos is going to control Death, get him to basically try and kill all the others and then Chaos will kill death and take over all offices... or something like that.))

(Yup, that was it! And yeah, Chaos will try. Still not sure how far he'll get with that. I think the current idea was that he has a private chat with Death, and threatens to kill Fate or something, so Death lets him into his mind, thinking he can control Chaos, but then Chaos gets control and basically tries to kill everyone)

(xD Yup, you are remembering correctly. Because Fate would think Death's the one attacking her and he would blame himself for it like he always does. And okay! I have to leave in about an hour to pick my sister up from school, but I'll be free for the rest of the night after that ^-^)

((Ok, I think we should skip a little... to when Chaos goes to Death. Alright, strating at breakfast that morning XD))

Death was in the kitchen, making eggs for Fate. It was early, he hadn't been able to sleep well ever since... Chaos. So he was prepping breakfast for Fate, hoping that today everyone was going to be able to go home. But when Chaos walked in Death doubted that would happen.

Chaos walked up to Death with a smile on his face, "Mornin'!" His tone was cheery as he snagged a bacon strip and munched on it, ignoring Death's glare, "How are you this day?"

Death didn't say anything, just continued to stir the eggs as Nature walked in... then growled as Nature turned right around at the sight of Chaos and walked back out, whistling nonchalantly.

(So, were you thinking that Fate was in the room or asleep? I sort of felt like you meant for it to be that she's asleep still but at the same time, my mind is also going that Death wouldn't leave her alone xD So... I'm going to hold off on that until I know what you're thinking and just type for Time. My computer deleted my post for Heavens so... I have to retype that after this)

Time yawned, stretching her arms out over her head as she walked down the hallway towards the kitchen. She was still in pajamas, brown hair sticking up every which way, green eyes hazy with sleep. She had just woken up, but she was starving all the same, so it was time for breakfast. As she neared the kitchen, she saw Nature walk out, whistling and peering over his shoulder. "If you don't want Death to notice you, you shouldn't make noise," she suggested with a questionable amount of helpfulness, having guessed that was who he seemed to be escaping. Then again, she couldn't really blame him for not ever wanting to be alone with Death, considering what seemed to happen in that sort of situation.

Nature shook his head, "Nope. Chaos is in there with him. I definitely don't want to be there with both of them. They're like... oil and water.... with a lit match in the close vicinity." He pointed at Time, "You're brave if you're going in there."

Death turned his glare to Chaos, "What do you want?"

Chaos shrugged, "Just a chance to talk... man to man.... friend to... well..." Chaos grinned, "You get my drift."

Death shook his head, "Yeah, don't think so." He placed the eggs on a plate, added bacon, then started to walk away.

Chaos flicked his hand and the kitchen door closed, "Ah, ah, ah, don't think we're done just yet..."

((Where ever you want her... but I was thinking still sleeping. It's pretty early...))

(Okay, I thought so, but there two different logics fighting xD and I wasn't sure which to listen to. And sorry my posts are so short xD there's not a lot I can do when its just Death and Chaos)

Time opened her mouth to reply, but before she could say a word, the kitchen door slammed shut all of a sudden. She frowned, raising an eyebrow at Nature. "Is it just me, or do you smell that lit match burning?" she asked, and ran a hand through her hair with a yawn. "I wonder if we should go get Fate or if I would even do any good..."
