Nature looked at the door, then to Time, "Um, I'm thinking we should get Fate. This isn't good.... Death alone in a room locked away from Fate? That's just asking for trouble." He took her arm and drug her to Fate and Death's room, "Best to put distance between us and that room too."

Death glared at Chaos, "Open the door." He knew better than to try to open it himself. There was no way he'd get it open.

Chaos grinned, "After our talk. Now, I have a request."

"No."

Chaos pouted, "But... you don't even know what it is."

"I don't have to. Answer is no."

"Even if it save your Fate... and gets everyone out of here?" Chaos said evenly.

Death froze, staring at Chaos, "What do you mean?"

"I mean," Chaos said with a grin, "That you and your... friends are at my mercy. I could do... whatever I want. But if you cooperate... well, I won't hurt any of them."

Deaht's gaze narrowed, "What do you want?"

"I want you to let me in. Here." Chaos tapped his temple, "Just a little bit... not a lot..."

"No."

Chaos shrugged, "Then that's your choice. I guess it's time I pay Fate a little visit." He made his way to the door.

(I love how Nature and Time have already figured out that whenever something happens with Death, the solution is to go get Fate xDD)

Time let the dragging go on for maybe a couple of steps but then pulled her arm out of Nature's grasp as she walked along beside him. "I can't tell if you're afraid of Death coming after you... or Chaos," she said, glancing over at him. "I suppose it doesn't matter either way though... Fate would handle Death for you and there doesn't seem to be anything any of us can do about Chaos." she finished speaking just as they approached the closed door to the room that Fate and Death shared. Without waiting, Time opened the door and strode into the room. "Hey! Time to wake up!" She flopped onto the end of the bed beside Fate. "What are you doing sleeping anyway, at a time like this? Death's locked in a room with Chaos, and you're just laying here sleeping. You should be ashamed."

Fate jerked awake to the sound of yelling. For a few moments, she just stared at Time incomprehensibly, not even having taken notice of Nature's presence as of that moment. Then the meaning of Time's words seemed to sink in, and her eyes widened. "Why is he alone with Chaos?!" she asked, her tone saying what she hadn't, which basically equaled to: shit. She leapt out of the bed, naked except for a pair of underwear, and hurriedly located one of Death's shirts to pull on since it was big enough that she didn't need to bother locating pants as well. "Where are they?" She demanded as she turned back to Time, wide awake now.

(If Nature values his life, he'll never mention this moment to Death. Ever.)

((Lol yup. A Death without Fate is a very bad thing... and Death should totally find out what Nature Saw XD))

Nature's eyes widened as he realized what Fate was not wearing and immediately turned around. "Um.... They're in the kitchen. Alone. And Death was glaring when I saw them.... but there wasn't any blood yet so I think if we hurry we can get there before any damage."

"Wait!" Death cried as he held his hand out to Chaos, "You promise Fate won't get hurt?"

Chaos grinned, "I promise I won't even touch Fate."

Death didn't like this... didn't like working with Chaos... but if it kept Fate safe....

(haha, I don't even know how we'll keep him from killing Nature, but I agree all the same. I can imagine Fate trying to defend him and that just making it worse)

"Okay, thanks," Fate said, and rushed past Nature and Time on her way out of the room, sprinting to get to the kitchen as fast as possible. When she got there, she tried to open the door, only to find that it had probably been locked. She tried to open a portal then, and was met with no success. "Death!" she yelled as she banged on the door. "Let me in!"

Time burst out into laughter after Fate had run from the room, having barely contained it until she had gone. She had noticed Fate's lack of dress as well, but for one thing.. she was female, and it wasn't as if it bothered her really. For another, she turned away instead of staring. "Enjoy the view?" she teased Nature as soon as she had enough air to actually speak.

Nature glared at Time after Fate ran off, "I didn't see anything! ... Much..." He sighed, shaking his head, "Just... don't tell Death, okay? I already have a heard enough time staying alive in his presence. I don't need anything to make it harder."

By the time Fate was banging on the door the deed was already done. Chaos removed his fingers from Death's temples and grinned at him, "Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?"

Death continued to glare at Chaos, "Didn't even hurt." He practically snarled at him before walking around and heading to the door, "Now open it."

Chaos shrugged and flicked his wrist again, the door unlocking and opening in a quick swing.

Time's lips twitched into a grin. "And by much, I'm assuming a naked image is imprinted on your mind now?" she asked, and then shrugged at his request. "I'm not the one you should be talking to. I do things to annoy Death, but I don't try to get people murdered. Fate, on the other hand? I'm pretty sure she tells Death everything, whether it be immediately or at some point in the future. If he finds out, I can almost guarantee it will be her fault."

Fate was in the room practically as soon as the door opening, eyes taking everything in to make sure that nothing was amiss. "What happened?" she asked, looking from Death to Chaos. Death didn't appear to be hurt, though it had seemed before that Chaos and Death being anywhere near each other would inevitably equal Death being hurt in some way or another. And then she wondered if Chaos had shown Death some sort of illusion like he had shown her. Without even realizing it, she had moved so that she was standing in between the two men, almost as if she could act like some sort of guard to keep something from happening.

Nature's face paled, all the color draining out at the thought of Fate telling Death, "God. Now I really am dead." He sighed and rubbed his palms over his face, "What do I do now? I mean..." He met her gaze, "Can I use you as a shield? He seems to like you... at least a little..."

Death sighed and took Fate's arm, bringing her to his side so that she was no longer between him and Chaos, "Everything is fine. Chaos and I were just... chatting." He finished, sending Chaos a glare before finally looking at Fate. His eyes narrowed on her outfit, "Why are you dressed like this? Where are your pants?" He glared at her, meeting her gaze, "There are other guys than just me here, Fate!" He took her by the shoulders, turned her, and began pushing her from the room, "I can't believe you came out here like this. What were you thinking?"

Time stared at Nature as if he had somehow grown two more heads. "Yeah, sure he does," she finally just said with a shake of her head. "I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but I would not make a good shield." She paused and then thought of something. "Hey, did Fate say we couldn't actually kill each other? So that means Death can't actually kill you. Doesn't that make you feel better?"

"What do you mean, 'what were you thinking'? Nature and Time came to wake me up because you were locked in a room with Chaos!" She met his glare with one of her own even as he began pushing her out of the kitchen and back towards their room. "I was worried about you so I just picked up a shirt and just put it on. It isn't as if anyone can see anything, and it isn't as if I ran in there in only my underwear." She sighed, moving to walk beside him so that she wasn't being pushed. "And you got me off topic. What happened? Because while making me worry for no reason might be something Time would do, Nature is the sort of person to have a good reason."

Nature grinned, then paled again and shook his head, "Uh... no. Cause that means he'll just torture me for the rest of my life. And at least I can throw you at him. He'll be preoccupied with catching you and it'll give me a chance to run..."

Death shook his head, just realizing that he'd forgotten her breakfast in the kitchen. Chaos better not touch it, "Nothing happened. Nature is a whimpy little chicken. He looked into the kitchen, saw us, then ran off, whistling a jolly tune." He sighed, "That kid had no back bone." He then stopped and saw that both Nature and Time in their room, "What are you doing here?" He glared at Nature, "Shouldn't you be hiding under some rock in the back yard?"

(You're fine. I had to make a new deviantart cause I can't log in to mine for the life of me xD so I've been sort of preoccupied with that.)

"You can't make portals... how far do you actually think you would get?" Time pointed out, right about the time that Death and Fate showed up.

Fate sighed. "Well, he did the right thing, whether you want to admit it or not. Something could have actually happened, and I'd rather get woken up for nothing than to not be there when something does happen." She paused in the doorway, blinking in surprise to see that Nature and Time hadn't actually moved. Were they just waiting around to see what would happen?...

"He's working himself up to it right now, I'm sure," she reassured Death with a small grin, barely managing to contain a laugh. It was amazing, honestly, that Nature hadn't simply gotten up and run at the sight of Death, at this point. She then turned to Nature. "Maybe you should actually say something now. I'm sure it will be better on you if he doesn't find out some time in the distant future by someone else. I mean, maybe you'll get off easy for owning up to it."

"Owning up to what?" Fate frowned in confusion. Apparently Time and Nature had been talking about something Nature had done wrong. "Come on, Nature, you know you're already on Death's bad side. You really don't need to be provoking him."

(haha it isn't even crossing Fate's mind what they might be talking about. In her defense, she just sort of assumed Nature turned around and didn't see anything and he didn't do anything wrong, so she wouldn't really think about it)

Nature jumped as Death appeared. He immediately shifted so that Time was between him and Death, "Uh... nothing. I definitely wasn't in here when Fate jumped out of the bed. And I definitely didn't see anything because Fate was definitely clothed - every inch covered! And there's definitely no reason to try and kill me!" By the end of all that Nature was squeaking and breathing hard.

Death didn't understand at first. He was frowning at Nature, about to just give up, when it suddenly hit him. His gaze narrowed and he took a step closer, "You what?" Death knew exactly what Fate had been wearing - or not wearing - to bed and he was not happy about this.

(Sorry I haven't replied to Heavens yet I'm writing with my friend, so... we might stop in a couple of hours and I'll get to it then, but I'm just gonna reply to this whenever I get the chance for the moment)

Fate realized what Nature was saying almost as soon as he said it, and her eyes widened. As Death took a step towards Nature though, she moved in the way before he could get any closer, pressing her palms against his chest as if that would actually keep him right where he was. "You can't hurt Nature," she said. "He and Time came to wake me up because they were worried about you. I was in a rush and forgot he was in here. I'm sure he turned around before he could see anything at all. Right Nature?" She didn't take her eyes off Death, almost as if she was worried that he would somehow manage to do something if she did.

"Yup, he didn't see anything. That's why he's afraid for his life," Time snorted.

Nature gulped and poked Time's back, "You're supposed to be helping me!" He whispered to her before nodded at what Fate said, "Right! I turned around! I didn't see anything... I swear!"

Death continued to glare at Nature, "I don't care what he was trying to do; he shouldn't have come in here!" He looked at Fate, "He had no right to just... walk into the room you're sleeping in!" He returned his glare to Nature, still standing in the same spot since Fate was blocking him, "If you're lying to me I will hurt you worse than what I'm already planning to do."

"It's not like he's listening to me. He's too worried about what's going on," Time pointed out, shaking her head at Nature. "Besides, Fate's sticking up for you. He's going to listen to what she's saying, not me."

"He came to wake me up because you were locked in a room with Chaos!" Fate exclaimed, glaring at Death. "And you aren't going to hurt him for something that isn't his fault, okay? He didn't do anything."

Death continued to glare at Nature, "Because he should have waited outside your-" He suddenly fell silent and snapped up to stand straight, "Never mind. I'm going back into the kitchen." Then he turned and walked from the room, stomping past a grinning Chaos.

Chaos watched Death stalk past him, pleased to see that his little "suggestion" seemed to work on Death. Looks like the connection to the other man was strong. He then turned to Fate and the others, a confused look on his face, "What's going on?"

Fate frowned as Death suddenly turned around and left. Even if he hadn't been in the middle of trying to murder Nature, that would have been odd. She cast a glance to Chaos but knew that she wouldn't find anything out from him about what was going on with Death. So without a word, she followed Death out the door and headed towards the kitchen, since that's where he said he was heading to.

Time frowned a bit at what just happened. "Huh, that was odd." She angled her body sideways and looked back at Nature, since he was still cowering behind her. "Looks like you're saved for the time-being. Death decided to spare your life, I suppose. Either that or he's going to go find something to kill you with... I'm not sure whether you should relieved or afraid."

When Death got into the kitchen he stopped and frowned. He didn't remember how he'd gotten there... or why... but then his eyes landed on the plate he made for Fate and he sighed. The food was cold now, the surprise ruined. He picked up the plate and walked to the sink, getting ready to toss it. He could just make her more...

Nature shook his head, "No, I'm terrified. There are sharp cutting things in the kitchen!" He then looked at Chaos, "Can we leave yet?"

Chaos grinned, "Almost. There are a few more things I need to do... but then you can... leave." Chaos grinned.

Nature stared at Chaos in confused worry, "Oh... okay..."

Fate arrived in the kitchen in time to see Death at the sink, apparently washing a plate, and she frowned a little at the sight. "Death," she said softly, "What are you doing?" She stepped further into the kitchen, approaching him. "You sort of left all of a sudden back there. Is everything okay?"

Time scowled at Chaos. "What, you gonna try and kill us again? Because that would be great. Really."

Death set the plate off to the side to dry and turned to Fate, "Well, I was originally planning to bring you food, but it got cold. So I'm going to make more. And I was done with arguing," He said in leu of a real response, "Now, what would you like to eat?"

Chaos shook his head, "I'm not going to try anything of the sort." He said, "I just.. want to know more about your offices. So it's going to be like an interview. Hey!" He said, his face lightening, "You should all dress well, as if I'm really interviewing you!"

Nature shook his head, "Yeah. Not gonna happen. I'm just going to ignore all that, because when you shipped us here... you didn't give us a chance to bring any real clothes!"

Fate sighed softly as Death refused to answer, but she knew by now that there was no real use in pestering him. He would either decide to tell her at some point, or he wouldn't. Either way, she was almost sure she would eventually find out. "Okay," she said and walked over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing a kiss to his lips. "And thank you for making me breakfast earlier, but I'm up now and I can make something for myself." She gave him a smile. "If you ask nicely, I might even consider making something for you."

Time wrinkled her nose. "I hate interviews," she complained in a whine. "Besides, I don't know jack shit about my office. I mean... I was there... less than two days? Does that sound about right, Nature? And it isn't as if you've been in yours very long either!"
