It's a Secret

Draco walked out to the Slytherin common room and saw his friend. He walks over to her, "Ready?"
She jumps slightly, glaring at him. "Yeah, let's go."
They walk together, heading to get breakfast before their first class. Jane glances at her friend, "Did you sleep well last night?" Draco nods, lying. "Did you?"
Jane simply nods back. It was a quiet morning for them. They walked in silence. Both were thinking of the people they had seen the previous night.

It took a couple of minutes, but the pair eventually arrived at the Great Hall. Moving to their usual spots, the two sat down, though George soon joined them.
"You left without me again, mate," George teased his brother, grinning as he nudged him.
Fred blinked before he offered a small laugh. "Sorry about that," he said before shrugging and glancing around, his eyes searching for Jane. "Was in a bit of a rush, you see."
Amelia quirked a brow as she listened to the pair and offered a small smile. "Sorry for dragging him off, George," she chimed before she began gathering her breakfast, though she occasionally glanced around.

Draco and Jane sat in their normal spots. The Slytherins around them noticed them but were too busy talking about the food fight from the night before. Jane rolled her eyes, grabbing some food for herself. Draco did the same, grabbing some extra food.
Blaise glances at them, "That was a good food fight last night. I had potatoes in my hair the rest of the night. What did you two do after?"

Amelia missed the way that Fred perked up at the sight of Jane, due to her own attention being on Draco for a moment.
Both diverted their attention to their food, neither really noticing the other's attention at the Slytherin table moments before. George stared at the two with curiosity, wondering if something was up, though he hadn't noticed their attention on the other table, either.

Draco tried to keep his eyes away from Amelia's because he's afraid that people will catch on. "I hung outside of the castle for a while." Blaise takes that as an answer and looks towards Jane. Draco takes that as a cue to meet Amelia's eyes. He doesn't say anything, just looks for a moment before forcing his eyes away.
Jane looks at Blaise, and shrugs, "I hung out with Draco for awhile before going to bed."

(Should I skip to classes or something?)

(Yeah, that sounds fine.)

Fred and Amelia went their separate ways for classes, though George was with Fred as he headed to class. Looking ahead, the twins didn't speak much and instead tried to think of ways to make the day more interesting.
George's thoughts were on pranks, but Fred's thoughts were on Jane.

Yawning, Amelia went straight to class. Moving to sit down, she glanced around a bit but otherwise tried to relax. Mostly, though, she was just ready for the classes to end so that she could try to spend time with Draco.

Jane heads to her first class, trying to focus, but her mind can't seem to stay off of Fred. She's trying to think of anything but him, seeing as she needs this lesson because it will be on her exams.

Draco couldn't seem to stop thinking about Amelia. He could only think of what they would do tonight or what they would talk about. That was a problem, because he should be focusing on the potion Snape was going over, but he couldn't.

Fred spotted Jane up ahead, the two of them heading to the same class. Well, three of them, considering that George was with him. He wanted to pick up his pace to walk next to ber and speak with her a bit, but be held himself back. Instead, he moved to his seat with George and sat down once they got into the classroom.

Amelia rested her head on the table, her attention ahead. She was sure that, if Snape spotted her, he'd give her some long, ridiculous lecture, but she always made sure to sit up straight when his attention was back on the students. Sighing, she attempted to concentrate.

Jane sits at her desk alone, wishing for once that she had a friend that was in her year. Sure, Draco was a great friend, but it was hard when they didn't share as many classes together. She stayed silent in her class, jotting down notes while trying to keep her mind off of Fred.

Draco did his best to pretend like he was focusing in class. Although, many sensed something was off about him. Usually when the Gryffindors had classes with the Slytherins, Draco would mess with Harry at some point, but they all noticed how focused he seemed to be today. Although, his focus was not on the lesson, but his thoughts Amelia.

Fred couldn't help but to occasionally glance towards Jane. It had become instinct without him even realizing it, but at least George didn't seem to notice it. It was easier to pay attention to Jane than it was to pay attention to class. The fact that his twin wasn't catching on at least meant that he wasn't too obvious.

Amelia tapped her quill against the table a few times, trying to get her mind focused so that she could focus on classes. Unfortunately, it wasn't working out so well as her mind kept drifting to Draco.

The end of class brought Jane out of her thoughts. It had seemed like the class had come and went within minutes. She's sure it's because she was hardly paying attention, but she shrugs it off. Jane quickly gathers her things, taking a quick glance at her notes. They're a little off and some don't make sense, but they'll work okay.
She finishes grabbing her stuff and leaves the classroom silently.

Draco was shocked when Snape dismissed them. Had he really been thinking of Amelia the whole time? He feels his cheeks tinting so he quickly looks down. He gets his bag and starts to walk out of the class, taking a glance at Amelia, who is looking right back at him.

Fred took a quick glance to his brother, seeing that his twin was busy talking to somebody else. Taking the chance, Fred quickly stood up and followed after Jane. Most students were still in the classroom, chatting away since nobody had much of a reason to rush. Once he caught up with her, he nudged her gently. "Do you have a class right now?" he asked quietly.

Amelia froze when their eyes met and she tried to force her attention away. It was beyond difficult but she eventually stood up, gathering her things. Smiling to herself, she glanced back over to Draco and inclined her head in an attempt to gesture for him to follow before she exited the classroom.

Jane turned around, ready to curse who ever had decided to run into her, but when she saw it was Fred, she relaxed. "No," She says, glancing around them. She keeps a glare on her face, just in case someone saw them. "You?"

Draco was a bit confused at what she meant at first, but then realized what she was asking of him. He let her leave first and a minute later, he followed her out of the classroom.

"Nope," Fred hummed out, clearly not really worried about the idea of being seen together. Most people were consumed with their own problems right now, like homework and such. "I know a few places we can meet at," he said quietly, listing them off to her.

Though Amelia knew of many secret places within the castle due to her friendship with Fred, she only knew of one area that Fred wouldn't go near. The Shrieking Shack. Harry and his friends knew of it, of course, but they didn't go near it, so she was sure it was safe.

"Let's meet at whichever one is easiest." Jane says, "Tell me now though." She's a bit nervous to meet up with him again but she will anyways.

Draco followed her, dodging past the Whomping Willow and following her. She's not exactly sure where they're going but he's trusting that it will be safe from peoples eyes.

"There's a passage that leads into Hogsmeade. We don't have to go to Hogsmeade, but we can meet in the passage," Fred told her before telling her where it was.

It didn't take long to get through the tunnel that led to the Shrieking Shack. Amelia ignored the dust and broken furniture and instead waited for Draco to catch up.

Jane nodded, "Alright, I'll meet you there after dinner tonight. I would say earlier but that seems a bit too suspicious." She shrugs, "Anyhow, see you tonight."

Following carefully behind, Draco catches up quickly. "Hey," He says, seeing her sitting on one of the unbroken chairs. He takes a look around the room, not sure where they were. "Where are we exactly?"

Fred quirked a brow. "You're ready to ditch me already?" he asked, almost amused, but it was a little obvious that he didn't really want to part ways yet. "I feel as though I should be hurt by that," he joked lightly.

"The Shrieking Shack," Amelia hummed out as she snuck a glance over at him, mostly to gauge his reaction. "Hope places like this don't scare you too much," she teased lightly.
