Solona nodded understanding how he might feel uncomfortable here. She smiled as Chance came up. "Hey." She said giving him a hug. He started to talk about something when she heard Eldon. "No." She said turning to him. "Just wait a second alright?" She said and turned to Chance. "He's new and I want him to feel comfortable. So... I'll see you in class alright?" She said and watched Chance nod reluctantly. Solona smiled and closed her locker. Chance headed off and Solona turned to Eldon. "Now you lead since you are the only one that knows where to go." She said. Solona smiled softly.

Eldon waited, ignoring Chance's angry glances and he turned to smile at someone that bumped into him. "Just, you know, this way," he said, feeling nature tug on him. There was so much cement that it killed him and he moved quickly through the hall until he busted through the door, taking a deep breath in. He moved across campus, find a tree at the fringes and plopping down. They were people near, students sitting and eating lunch, but they were far enough away. He touched the grass and smiled a little, feeling the energy course through him. "This is perfect," he said, smiling at Solona finally.

Solona smiled softly. She sat down beside him and pulled out her lunch. "This is nice." She said and took a bite of her sandwich. Solona smiled andset it down as she chewed. She was facing him her eyes wondering over him. "Are you sure we haven't meet before today?" She asked and ran a hand through her hair. She really wanted to try to touch him again but she couldn't just do that wih no excuse. solona was having a hard time thinking of an excuse actually.

"It's wonderful," he commented, running his fingers across the grass. "That's a very good question, Solona. Tell me, what do you think?" He asked, winking. He reached in bag, pulling out an apple and taking a soft, crisp bite. He felt all her nervous energy and he couldn't help but smile at her. She was a constant ball of energy and Eldon couldn't help but wonder if it was all the untaped power in her, the power of a future queen. His fingers itched to touch her, to show her anything he could to just make her see there is a possibility.

Solona was taken back. She hadn't expected that answer. She frowned her eyebrown creasing before she shook her head and smiked taking a bit of her food. She was quiet a long time. When she was done with her sandwich she rested her head on her hand that was propped up on her leg. "Eldon... you are different." She said and bit her lip looking at his hand. "May I see your hand?" She asked. Maybe if he thought she was going to read his palm that was her excuse. It was just a funny trick... or so she was telling herself. Solona smiled nervously wishing he would put his hand up so she could slowly touch him and understand what happened between them earlier.

Eldon smirked at Solona, examining her as the wheels turned in her brain. He ate his apple slowly before wrapping the core in a paper towel and tucking it away. "Different?" He asked, raising his brow. "Never gotten that one before, but you are also quite different." He wondered what her reaction would be when she found out just how different she was. Eldon placed his hand out for her, his ring, indicating his place among the royal family, shining in the sunlight. "Okay, but no touching," he said, his face twisting in his usual smirk.

Solona shrugged. She had always felt different but she learned that different wasn't a bad thing. Solona rolled her eyes at his stupid smirk. She looked at his hand and looked at his ring before putting her hand up close to his. She could feel the energy radiating between their two palms. Solona bit her lip looking up into his eyes. It was a second later that their hands touched and she felt it again. Solona gasped her fingers interlacing with his.

Eldon smiled, feeling the magic course through the interlacing fingers and the feeling electrified all of him. He never ever let a chance to appreciate the magic he was granted pass away from him and he looked at Solona's face as she marveled at the feeling. In the back of his head, Eldon knew this didn't happen every time fairies touched, but he figured it meant only that Solona had so much untapped potential, it itched to be released at any moment. Eldon let go of her hands then, nonchalantly grabbing another apple from his bag and biting into it. He assumed she'd have more questions and it'd be easier for him to simply answer them.

Solona looked shocked. How could that happen? "W-what was that? You felt it didn't you?" She said and bit her lip. Solona couldn't beleive he was just sitting there earing and apple like nothing had just happened. Solona lppked around. "The truth Eldon... what is goong on?" She demanded sounding like a princess for probably the first time since they met. Solona bit her lip again so much moving through her mind. The natural buzz of her magic starting to become obvious to her. She hadn't noticed it slowly building upp before. Eldon made something inside her come alive and she didn't know what it was but it felt good. Eldon was strange though. She could never figure out if he was into her or discusted by her.

Eldom smiled, "Of course I felt it, but Solona, I already told you what was going on," he said. "Don't you remember? Last night?" He raised an eyebrow, taking a bite of the apple. He wanted the words to come from her mouth. He needed her to make the realization versus him prompting it, things would be easier that way.

Solona watched him her head spinning. "Last night?" Was she hearing things or was he really saying her dream was real. "You came to me last night." She wispered and looked around as if to see if anyone was listening. "But you were different." She whispered and bit her lip holding her legs.

Eldon smiled, watching her piece it all together. "Well, I couldn't exactly find you here and just flash my wings everywhere," he said chuckling.
He looked at a wilting flower to their side and caressed the petals softly as it slowly came back to life. "I can't give you anymore proof considering where we are. Plus you'd have to take my shirt off," he said, chuckling again. He really wasn't that different at all.

Solona looked at him watching the flower as she thought. Suddenly she stood and shook her head. She grabbed her bag and started to walk away. She remembered very clearly the kind of person he was and she didn't want anything to do with that. Solona had to get away while she could, while her curiosity was under control. She ran a hand through her hair. The arrogance he had to come here. She didn't want his magic if it came at the cost of her kindness. Solona honestly was kind but something about Eldon brought out a different side in her. She walked quickly toward the school. He would have to try a lot harder, in areas she wasn't sure he could, if he wanted her to go anywhere with him.

Eldon watched her walk a way and he huffed, why was she so stubborn? What person in the world wouldn't want to find out they're magical or let alone, a princess? He was resigned to not following, even though he knew he had to. He jumped up, grabbing his things and ran after her. "Hey!" He hollered, running up and grabbing her arm, feeling that familiar zing. "You keep leaving without letting me explain," he muttered. "Let me take you somewhere tonight, out to dinner or something," he said, ruffling his hands through his air. He was nervous suddenly, maybe she would say no and he'd be taken off the case. He wanted to prove himself, he had to prove himself.

Solona yanked her hand away not liking how he kept grabbing her. She looked up at him slightly taken aback at his question. She was quiet a while thinking. "Only if you are asking because you want to get to know me, and not to trick me into completimg your mission." She said suddenly turning from hard to really vulnerable. Solona had been through so much here on Earth and it made her strong but it also kept her from trusting people. Solona loved Earth but she did want to see her world... if it was even that. But she didn't want to go there with no way back and no one to turn to. Solona needed a friend, or someone to love her. Eldon cameoff as a jerk, a stuck up jerk and she didn't like jerks. How had he not figured out that he was part of the problem? She wanted to go out with him but not to talk about his business but as two people looking at the other wondering if there is something between them.

Eldon refrained from pouting. What was it with girls and trying to form a relationship? Why was this so pivotal that they talk and be friends? He was giving her a whole new world and she wanted him to get to know her, as if they would ever be more than casual friends . "Yeah, my intentions are always honorable," he said. Why did she need there to be a spark? He hated it, her clinging attachment perturbed him, he needed more space than she was allowing.

"Look I am not about to leave the only home I have ever known to go somewhere were I probably wont fit it. I know if you don't even like to be around me no one else there will be. Magic isn't just something you find in a world of fairies, it is found here in love and friendship, and selflessness." She said and shook her head. "I am sorry about your situation but for one second hink about it from my eyes." She said and pulled away again not wanting to be close to him. She was so angry. How did he make her both amazed and utterly frustrated?

Eldon huffed and wondered why she had to be so melodramatic about everything. He did, however, see the familiar twinkle of magic, just brimming at her fingertips and he sighed. They had awakened her inner magic and if she wasn't careful with her emotions, they would go haywire which is exactly why Eldon was here. He was suppose to stop this and keep her safe from those who are out to get her and take the power from the Queen. God, why was royalty also so dramatic? Sure, he might be a Lord's son, but that didn't mean anything. "Fine," he said, dropping her wrist. "Figure out how you feel, Solona. I have answers to a majority of questions," he commented, letting her get a safe distance away before following.

Solona shook her head so confused why she was so upset about Eldon. Why did he have to be a jerk? How could he not understand? Solona felt the tears before she realized she was crying. She bumped into Chance and he turned frowning pulling her into his arms. "Solona... whats wrong?" She shook her head and burried her face into his chest. He put his arm around her and lead her away into a quiet place.

Eldon chuckled at the human boy's feeble attempt at comfort and instead, ventured on to class. He smiled at his teachers, blankly went through the motions of school until he was again in a class with Solona. Her eyes were red from crying and Chance hovered around her like a worried little dog. Eldon rolled his eyes, stretching in the back to flash a smile at a girl nearby. There was a party tonight, he heard the rumblings around school and wondered if Solona would be going. He chuckled again, knowing she wouldn't even think about it. He knew he couldn't infiltrate her mind now that he'd woken her magic, he saw it brimming at her fingers (a sort of strange simmer at her fingertips, much like this own), but he could infiltrate her friend. He simply placed the idea of the party into Chase's mind and smirked again; being in the human world could be a little fun.
