He groaned, feeling her so close to him and the energy moving through them. "Yes, I feel it. It's not something that is...exclusive to us, Solona," he explained, trying to ignore the intensity that was stronger than anything he had felt before her. He turned, pulling himself away from her. "My world is what matters, it's all there is to me. Me being here, Solona, it is temporary. This is not my world," he groaned again. He sat up from where he was laying prone on her bed. He turned towards her, "This," he gestured to himself, "is so entirely constricting to me. Muffling my powers, kills me. Can you not feel that?" He asked, grabbing her hand before she could move it.

Solona shook her head. "I understand but Eldon if we only thought of tonight..." she felt his hand holding hers. She knew his pain from the lack of his powers. She could feel it zinging through him like a angry caged animal. Solona cupped his face and shook her head. "Just for tonight Eldon dream of a world different. If I am the royalty that you say I am then maybe I can change things. Eldon we don't know if we even like eachother but how will we knlw if we don't try?" Solona asked sitting up slowly and pulled him closer her nose touching his her lips close to his before she finally brushed them along hers oh so gently.

Eldon slid his hand along Solona's face, moving his lips to hungrily kiss hers and push her body underneath him on the bed. He moved his kisses down her neck, and in between each kiss, "This is so bad." She would never understand where he was coming from, that she was a queen and he was barely allowed on the court. He trailed his fingers up her arms and then dropped his head onto her stomach and groaned. "You're killing me," he spat. There were so many little problems with what was happening and she didn't understand, and none of this was the point of him being here.

Solona was surprised with the need that erupted from him but she was more surprised with the need she felt. Her entire body burned and it felt like the tingling was turning into something more that she had never felt before. Solona groaned as he kissed her so deeply. She had never been kissed like this before. Her last kiss had been her first when she was in 4th grade and it was nothing like this. Solona moaned as his lips trailed down her neck. She breathed hard her hands gripping his arms but when he pulled away and looked down at him as she caught her breath. She ran her hand into his hair gently and sat up slowly. She caressed his cheek looking into his eyes. "Shhh. It's okay. No one ever has to know but us. Eldon..." she bit her bottom lip and hugged him. "I feel more then I ever have when I am with you." She said and sighed. Her back ached and she groaned in pain. She pulled back and ran a hand through her hair. "I need to lay down." She whispered and squirmed from under him laying beside him on her belly. Her shirt was bulding where her wings where but she had no idea. Solona still wasn't use to them.

Eldon glanced over at her, noting her wings emerging and decided that it would be easier to let things happen without telling her. "You don't.. you won't understand, Solona. There are no secrets in my world, there is only truth; there is only the light." He motioned around them, muttering words that light up her room in a strain of silver light. "This world, the one you're so eager to deny is already around you everywhere, you can't ignore it anymore," he said to her, smiling softly.

"Things are changing," he said, glancing to her back.

Solona groaned the pain in her back growing. She pulled the back of her shirt up her smooth back buldging with her wings. "I haven't ignored it I just simply didn't want to go without knowing someone that would take care of me." She whimpered as she hid her face in the pillow. She yelped as her wings burst through her skin and stretched the length of the bed hanging over the sides. Solona panted softly and looked over at him. "Stop telling me what can or can not happen. If this world is so magical then how come there are so many rules to keep the magic of love and desire away?" She asked and sighed starting to gently flutter her wings. It seemed impossible that they would ever fit into her small body.

Eldon groaned, "You are literally the the most stubborn person in the entire world. I do not make the rules, Solona. I'm not just talking about of my ass, I'm telling you the truth," he spat, watching her flutter to the ground. "But, I don't think you can deny it anymore," he commented, pointing. He wondered how she was so oblivious, how she was stubborn and focused on arguing that she completely ignored the wing protruding from her back.

"I never said that you do." she said and sighed taking his hand. "I believe you Eldon." Solona pressed his hand to her cheek. "Eldon please." she whispered and moved closer. She kissed him again softly her lips brushing gently over his as her hands slipped up into his hair. "Please just give into me." she whispered against his lips and pressed against him her wings fluttering like her heart. "I will take care of you if you take care of me." she whispered as they laid back into the bed.

Eldon stepped away from her, forcing himself away before they fell onto the bed. "Dear god, Solona. Would you just take a step back from your one track mind and look at yourself? My world is not my world, it is your world now too. You can't just ignore it, this is life, baby. Open your eyes," he spat, fleeting across the room. "You can't make these kind of changes when you haven't even accepted who you are or been to the realm we come from. Don't talk about my world like you know, you don't." He huffed, ruffling his hair in frustration, both sexually and morally.

He opened the window, and climbed up onto it, "I need air. Take a few minutes," he said, over his shoulder before he left her room. It felt good to fly, to feel the moonlight washing over him and just escape the confined space they were in, the space she put them in. In what world was what she did okay? She's a queen, for God's sake, a lady, and she just wants to ignore that.

Solona frowned as he left. she sat there a moment and hugged her knees. She wanted to visit this place but they would never let her leave once she got there she knew this because she was important to them. But she didn't want to be important to them. She wanted to be important to someone. Solona felt the tears threatening and shook her head. She stood and looked out the window at the sky and sighed jumping out of the window. She fluttered down and walked across the street as she headed to the park. She wasn't going to sit around for him to come back. If he didn't want her she would stop pushing. She must have misread him. He knew nothing about her here in this world.

Eldon huffed, watching her fly out of her room in a moment of fury towards the park; it makes sense for her to seek solace within nature. "Solona," he said, running to catch up with her, "I think you're completely ignoring your wings and the implications of being seen. It may be late, but the world doesn't truly ever sleep." He sighed, reaching a careful hand towards her cheek, hoping she would let him touch her. "You have to understand, it is not that I do not enjoy your presence, your energy, smile and spunk." He retracted his hand, "But, I have a duty, a responsibility, to my family and my crown. You do understand that, do you not?" He was trying to explain this in the best way he could, but she was so stubborn that the wondered if this even mattered.

Solona sat on a swing when Eldon came up beside her. She was going to say something but when his skin touched hers she just listened. She nodded. "I can't control them. I just learned how to fly a few days ago. If I go what then? You leave and I am alone in a place I don't know with no one to help me understand what to do. How is that any different then what you are going through here? Can you understand?" She just wanted him to say he understood. She hugged her knees as the swing swung lightly her wings laying flat to her back drapping down to the ground. She sniffled and looked down at the ground her hair falling in front of her face. Solona just didn't want to be alone but her heart was tugging her to go. She couldn't though.

Eldon smiled at her as he observed the way her locks fell down and framed her face. The swing rocked gently and he grabbed the chains to make it stop rocking and said, "You're making the assumption, darling, that I will leave you once we've arrived. You're also assuming that just because you come, you have to stay. I live at court too, I will be around. Especially, at your request," he said, bowing slightly, but raising his head and smirking. He used his fingers to lift her chin as he stood so he could study her face slowly, "What is it you're afraid of?"

Solona smiled softly though it didn't reach her eyes. He would be around. But she didn't just want to see him around she wanted him beside her to guide her through it. "I don't have to stay? Promise?" Solona didn't want to be stuck somewhere she wouldn't fit in. She frowned as he asked what she was afraid of. It took a while to find an answer. "The unknown... the responsibility of being who they want me to be. I am different Eldon." She whispered and wiped the tear away.

Eldon reached his hand again to wipe away the gentle tears falling from her eyes. He brushed his rough fingers, calloced slightly from before his family rose to power, against the soft skin of her face; oh how she was his foil. "You don't have to stay, even if I have to smuggle you out of there myself. It is scary," he agreed, nodding slowly, "To face someone's expectations, but what's worse? Facing your fears or living with a constant 'what if' looming over you?" He asked, moving his hand from her face to travel down her arm and grab her hand.

"I'm ready when you are, love." He wasn't sure what would happen, how the Queen would treat her and if we truly would be allowed to be around her. He figured they would, at first, give her anything she wanted until she understood how things worked. A rock settled in his stomach, knowing that their relationship, friendship even, was temporary at best. It would muffled, like depriving oxygen from a fire, until it disappeared leaving only a trail of smoke. Guilt rose into his throat because even though he liked it, he had used her need for affection as a tool to get her to agree. She was so strong and he wondered how she hadn't noticed, or if perhaps she only saw the best in people.

Solona shook her head. "Not yet I just want to spend a little more time here... with you. Can we at least be friends before we go?" She asked and bit her lip and stood holding his hand. She had an idea and she didn't know if he would agree. She sighed and hugged his waist her head hidding in his chest. "Could we maybe visit at night? Just somewhere private? So I know you are telling the truth and I have somewhere to go no matter what?" She asked kind of hoping he would share something he loved about this world with her. Solona looked up at him and bit her lip. She felt like she craved his kiss. Honestly she knew he was using her in a way but she also knew he was feeling more than he wanted to admit. He was good dispite his course outside. Solona looked up into his beautiful and deep eyes wishing she could get closer but he wasn't letting her in. She didn't understand it. Maybe it was a fairy thing not to get to close. That was a sad thing and would partially explain maybe why she was sent to earth, abandoned. If she was the princess that meant that the queen was her mother and she would meet her real parents. Solona was afraid of that too and was feeling like she wasn't ready for that in the least.

Eldon grew stiff as Solona wrapped herself around him and he wanted to get away from her as quickly as possible. He wasn't sure why, but he needed the space. Though he was under careful instructions to make Solona fall in love, it did't mean he actually liked the task. He'd only been here a few days and these things don't happen just like that, a snap of his fingers or what not. It was working to some degree, otherwise Solona's wings wouldn't have grown in, but she still wouldn't leave this retched planet.

He removed himself from her, as carefully as he could to not hurt her feelings, but he was getting frustrated. "Dammit, Solona. I don't have the power or the time to do this. You're asking me to feel things that do not just pop up in a few days. I know I'm asking you a lot in return, but what we are asking of each other are two totally different things. It physically pains me to be in this realm and you will feel it now too." He glanced up at the mooning, waning away to almost complete darkness; he had two days before the new moon. He had two days before he'd have to return home and recuperate. God, she was needy sometimes. She needed his attention and his acceptance, she needed proof, she need to touch him. She needed so many things that he could not provide for her.

"It's not safe to be out at night. Goodnight, Solona. I suggest you go inside too, wouldn't want to end up on The 9 o'clock news," he said, turning to walk away.

Solona stood her so confused. He was always flip flopping what he said and did. She shook her head. "You know you are such a liar Eldon! You are lying to yourself! You know what if everyone there is as cold as you I rather live with the what if. You can't play me like this. It took you two seconds to realize that would couldn't stand me." She said and turned away feeling the tears again. Any progress he had made had just been smashed by what he said. He thought the worst of her and that made her so sad. "Go tell your queen that you failed see how she takes it. If she truly is my mother I a, telling you that you will be lucky to escape with your life!" She said and started to walk away hurt and frustrated. It was to much to ask for a friend? To much to ask to be let inside? Solona didn't understand how something that seemed so magical could be nothing but tricks and illusions.

Eldon huffed and tried so hard to continue walking, but failed He turned around, yelling at her back, "I'm lying to myself, me? Have you looked at yourself, Solona? You literally have wings right now, wings. You're telling me I'm lying, you're threatening me? How even are you assuming she'd kill me? You don't know anything about her and your completely unwilling to find out! You have a family, dammit, that wants to at least meet you. Why are you focusing on me? My opinion is not important," he added, with a sigh and ruffling his hair. He lifted his hands in defeat, "I'm not sure what you want me to say."

Was he suppose to walk away and try again tomorrow? Keep playing this game and pretending he's human? It was exhausting, completely exhausting and he just wanted to go home. He told her she didn't have to stay, but she refused to listen, she refused to listen to everything he says. She just wants to pry her way into his life and it doesn't work like that.

Solona turned bright red with embarrassment. "Nothing! I want you to go away! You have done nothing but confuse me since you got here!" she yelled and ran off feeling those damned tears again and she was utterly frustrated with herself, with him, and the fact that she belonged no were. Solona got home and went up to her room and threw herself on her bed sobbing. She didn't want to do this anymore. She wanted a normal life again. How could magic and being 'special', be so awful?
