Kali bit her lip listening as Snape as he finished up the pairing. Then commanded the group to find their partners and start the assignment on the board.

Fred listened as the lesson droned on, he really didn't care what was being taught. He didn't need this lesson to strive in life, since all he seen himself doing was being a jokester.

Draco collected his things at the end of Snape's lesson and moved to sit next Kali. He would atleast try to act tolerable. He got up and walked towards her, trying to not to seem a little uncomfortable.

Coraline had fallen asleep for a little while, before waking up feeling a tad better. She wished, looking back on it now, that she would have treated Fred nicer. He was just looking out for her, regardless as to if she was her own person, and he just wanted to make sure she was okay.

Kali bit her lip as she watched Hermione walk way from their table. Her eyes shifted from the bushy haired girl to the blonde, slipping into her abandoned seat. Shifting in her seat she turned back to her book.

Fred looked up at the board before he turned back to his book. He moved his hand across his paper, not ever bothering to keep up with what he was righting, to him he was just coping lines from the bored to his paper.

Draco set his books down on the desk, then putting his bag on the back of his chair. He sat down on the chair, shifting awkwardly in his seat.

Coraline rolled over in her bed, pushing the hair out of her face. She was starting to regret her behavior entirely. She took a deep breath and started to think of ways to apologize to Fred.

Kali turned to look at him, before pushing some of the ingredients to him. "You can start by cutting these up." She told him, in a soft voice. Then she turned to her caldron.

Fred nibbled on his lip as he moved from his desk towards the door. He didn't want to go to any more of his class, so he just climbed up the stairs to the dorms. He'd just chill out in the common room.

Draco stared at the ingredients she gave him, before he started cutting them with precision and care. He took a deep breath before handing them back to her, then asking in a abnormally quiet voice, "What's next?"
Draco was quiet shocked with himself, not understanding why he had suddenly become so timid. He usually wasn't like this, no, he was never like this, so why now was he acting this way?
He knew deep down that it was because he didn't want to seem like a prat in front of Kali, but he also knew that she knew that he acted like that.

Coraline decided to get out of her bed, figuring that a walk might do her well. She quickly readjusted her robes over her uniform, soothing out her clothes, and slipping her shoes on. She then ran her fingers through her wild mane of curls and walked out of her doom, her wand hidden in her robes sleeve.

Kali stopped her movements before turning and looking at him. "It's written on the board." She said to him, knowing he was just as capable as she was to doing this. Her hand moved back to the spoon as she started stirring again. "I think you should add the roots, first." She told him, "just in case you can't read."

Fred entered the common room, his eyes lifted. His eyes locked on Coraline as she exited the dorms. Biting his lip he gave her a tight lipped smile, before moving to one of the couches.

Draco huffed, rolling his eyes at her, "I was just asking in case. I didn't know what you finished."
He added the roots to the potion before starting on the next steps, not bothering to ask Kali anymore questions.

Coraline wanted to talk to Fred, but something was telling her not too. When she walked through the common room, she saw Fred walk in. She saw him smile at her, somewhat fakely, and looked away. She had to figure out how to fix this.

Kali rolled her eyes, if he'd bother with his book. It give step by step instruction and also tell the user what the potion should be doing. Such as color changing, bubbling, or smoking. Some potions were weird that way. Her eyes flickered from the page in her book to the cauldron noticing the potion turning a murky cream color, they were actually doing it right.

Fred sighed before relaxing onto the couch, shifting he laid down. Uncertain of where he and Coraline stood, last night she made him feel as if he stood a chance. Now he just felt like she'd put him right back into the friend zone. Sighing he threw his arm over his face, blocking out all light and hopefully cutting off his thoughts.

(Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I thought I had replied to this ages ago! Oh jeez I'm so sorry!)

Draco examined the cauldron, noticing that the potion was turning out almost perfectly. He finished cutting the last of the ingredients, making sure they were all cut perfectly, before adding them in. The potion made its final transition in color and let out a soft aroma.

Coraline walked around the perimeter of the grounds before finding a place to sit. She crossed her legs as she sat down, taking in her surroundings p. The grey sky, the dewy grass and fresh air gave her a chance to think about how to make things right with Fred.

Kali shifted in her seat, her eyes closing as the sweet aroma wafted around her. Sighing she opened her eyes, feeling slightly light headed. The smell hit her like a ton of bricks. She had no idea how powerful the affects of Amortentia was. Feeling a light tingling in her face, she just knew her eyes were going haywire in changing. Feeling the affects, she couldn't place the smell, but it drew her in.

Fred shifted around on the couch, he was feeling restless. Though he couldn't bring himself to moved from the couch. He just didn't feel the umpth for it.

Draco grabbed a small bottle, seeing as the potion was having an effect on Kali and carefully he moved the potion away from her. He then carefully filled the bottle with the potion before sealing the top of it with the cork and handing it in to Professor Snape.

Coraline thought about Fred for a couple of minutes, when a red headed boy sat next to her.
She turned to look at him, "Hello George,"
He smiled weakly at her, "Hello Coraline."
She tapped her fingers against her knee, before asking, "Was there something you needed?"
George looked at her carefully, before looking towards the Forbidden Forest. He seem to be thinking deeply when he asked, "Do you know what's upset Fred?"

Kali turned from Draco and the potion, she pulled a lung full of fresh air. Closing her eyes she tried to get her self under control. Shifting in her chair she turned back to face the board. She could still feel the affects it had on her, she knew she'd never want to take the potion.

Fred shifted on the couch, his eyes drooping. He knew he was going to fall asleep if he didn't get up. Sighing he heaved himself off the couch. Walking around the common room.

Snape took the potion before sending Draco back to his seat. Draco sat in his seat, every now and then casting a glance at Kali, but nothing more than that. He wasn't sure if he should say anything to her or not, but considering the past between the two, he chose the latter.

"I think it was me actually." Caroline frowns, looking at the tree line of the Forbidden Forest.
George rose an eyebrow, "How so?"
"I think I've offended him." She sighs.

Kali pulled out a piece of parchment, quickly scribbling the things written on the board. Potions that Snape had set with dates, he had expected the pairs to work on them in there spare times. And wanted them to write a report on the ingredients and how they managed to get the potion to turn out properly. She made sure she copied the due dates.

Fred stood looking at the fire ablaze in the common room fire pit. He knew that he'd spent enough time moping around. But he had no want to leave.

Draco did the same, packing up his belongings as the class was about to end. He made sure that he had everything organized before relaxing back in his chair. Minutes later, Snape told the class that the lesson was over and they were able to leave. Before he left, he looked at Kali and said, "I hope you're okay."
He walked out of the classroom after that, not waiting for any of his friends.

"Well then," George starts, "Go talk to him! He's moping around and I don't like it."
Caroline shook her head at George's words but nodded, "Alright then."
She got up from her spot and walked towards the Gryffindor tower in hopes of finding Fred.

Kali quickly started putting her things away. Turning her attention to Draco when he spoke to her, furrowing her brow she didn't understand. Why wouldn't she be okay, nothing had happened. Shrugging it off she quickly exited the classroom, heading straight for the Great Hall. Since her double potion had taken all morning long, they were being released for lunch. Biting on her lip she entered the great room. Not wanting to deal with anybody, just wanting to eat and then head to Herbology. Sitting at her house table she thought over the list of potions, wondering when she'd be able to do them, since she knew Draco would be no help there.

Fred sat in one of the many couches in the common room. His eyes trained on the fire ablaze in the pit. He didn't know when he'd stop thinking about her, but now his thoughts were consumed with making a new type of candy, and how he would manage to create it just right.

Draco looked over the list of potions and sighed. He wasn't sure how they were supposed to get this done, especially since Kali was not his number one fan. He set the paper to the side, thinking over a couple of ways he could just do them by himself.

Caroline found Fred easily enough. He was just staring at the fire like he was in deep focus. She wasn't sure if she should interrupt him or not. She sighed softly, thinking it through. She could talk to him now and interrupt his deep thinking or she could want til later and continue to be upset.

Kali sighed watching as everybody ate happily, her mind was consumed with her project with Draco. She knew that Snape would have thought about them not working together. That's why he chose different houses for partners. He wanted to fail them all, when they turned in work he knew they didn't do together he'd have the pleasure in failing them all. At first she thought it was the misery he was putting them through that made him like it so much. But no it dawned on her that if she didn't work with Draco then there was no point in turning in anything. It would only end up her failing anyways. Thinking over those thought had her just pushing things around on her plate and not eating, she needed to past this lesson. She had to for her OWLs.

Fred heard the common room door open, he knew it was just George so he didn't bother moving. He knew he'd get the lecture again. And right now he didn't want to hear it. But after his brother stood there staring at him it started to annoy him. "You can quit staring." He snapped, before turning to glare at George. Only for his face to fall, noticing Caroline. "I. I. uh." He stumbled over his words, noticing the hurt that consumed her face. "I thought you were George." He quickly forced out, though he didn't feel better about snapping at her.
