::Face Down::

David moderated her food not wanting her to get unhealthy. At least that's what he told himself. He knew the real reason but never was going to say it. Not in a million years. He smiled and said, "Alright babe." He started to eat food. He heard her question and watched her and then said, "Since you've been good about dieting yes." He said and smiled and gave her two. Only two. "That should do for a long time." He murmured and quickly ate his own. He had her food strict and was positively not going to let her fuck up her diet. He was only giving her fries because he felt guilty and becaue she HAD been doing well. He quickly finished and took a sip of his water he had. "How's the salad and tea?" He asked not being able to stand the taste of tea.

Holly's face lit up when David said she could have a fry and she thanked him quickly, nibbling at one until it was gone. And once it was gone, she finished off her salad before she ate her other fry. She was quiet as she moved to stand and take all of the trash into the kitchen where she tossed it out. She returned and sat next to David, turning to cuddle into his side when she realised that he was finished with his food. "Good," she answered quietly, a small on her face. "The tea is a bit cold but it's still good," she murmured with a shrug of her shoulders. "Do you want to finish the movie now?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she glanced up to him.

David saw her face light up and smiled, glad that she was happy. He loved seeing her happy, but he just got so fucking pissed off with the things she did. She knew he didn't like her hanging out with Darcy. He laughed when she started to cuddle into his side and brought his arm to wrap around her on that side. He then murmured, "Good." he heard her question and smiled before murmuring, "Sure. After the movie want a shower or a bath?" He asked her and looked down at her and kissed her forehead gently and smiled waiting for her reply, as he wrapped the blanket around them once more.

Holly was not paying any real attention to the movie as it played, more focused on how she felt in the moment. David hadn't snapped nearly as bad as she thought he was going to since she had hung out with Darcy and had tried to hide it and he was treating her amazingly well surprisingly. She was starting to lull into a sleep when he spoke again and she jerked awake, blinking her eyes open as she looked up to her boyfriend. It took her a moment to realise what he had said and process it before she shrugged her shoulders. "A bath, if that's alright," she answered quietly. Baths were always so relaxing to her and the heat helped her bruises feel better. She just hoped that at the thought of David seeing them, it wouldn't somehow spark his anger either. Sometimes it did.

David stroked her hair as he watched the movie. He was relaxed against her. He in a surprisingly good mood. He chuckled as she awoke again adn looked down at her. The movie quickly came to an end. He stood up and brought her to her feet as well. "Alright." he said. He kissed her forehead before heading towards the bathroom. He took off his shirt and started to bath water. He hummed as he inspected a few freckles appearing on his chest. His abs shone well being well toned. He took off his pants and then his underwater and slipped into the water. He waited for her to join him and smiled at her. He wanted her comfortable for once.

Holly rose to her feet, making her way toward the bathroom slowly. She was hesitant just because she wasn't all that sure how he wanted the night to end. She was chewing on the edge of her lip, silent as she wanted her boyfriend undress for a moment. Turning so she was facing him, she started to pull her clothes off. Her shorts went first and her shirt next, her hands hovering over her bra clasp for a moment. Holly was never not nervous when she was naked in front of him because he usually commented on how she had gained a little weight or something and it never seemed to go well. She sighed as she finally undid her bra and shimmied out of her panties before moving over to the bathtub. She was quiet as she climbed inside, a small smile on her lips. "Hi," she mumbled as she moved to lean against him.

David smiled once she was inside the tub. He brought her into his arms and leaned back into the tub. His muscles were sore from work. He had quit college and gone straight to work. He worked construction so he was always tired. He murmured, "You know you're beautiful right?" He asked as he yawned. "It seems like you lost weight from last week." He said pleasantly as he relaxed against her. His arms around her waist gently as he finally nuzzled her neck. Closing his eyes once more, he relaxed against her and then kissed her neck lightly. He quit it and just laid there with her. "You're so comfortable." He said against her skin. His lips brushing against her skin from each syllable he uttered.

Holly was quiet as she cuddled into him, her eyes shutting. She could already tell she was close to falling asleep but she didn't want to because she wanted to spend as much time as possible with her boyfriend while he was in a good mood. So she could have a memory of it, so she could remind herself of the good. "Thank you," she whispered, turning her head to look up at him before relaxing into her spot again. She let out a small giggle at the last compliment and leaned to press a kiss to his cheek. "Well, so are you," she murmured, running her fingers over his chest tattoos absentmindedly.

By the time the water cooled, nearly forty five minutes had passed. She sighed as she started to get out of the tub, moving over to the towel rack to grab one for each of them. "Do you want to head to bed now?" She asked, holding out his towel for him.

David felt her cuddle against him and smiled as he just held her close to him. He loved her, he utterly did. He couldn't help loving her. That's why he asked her out in the first place. He yawned as he nuzzled into her neck more. He smiled hearing her reply and murmured, "Mmhmm. No problem." He grinned against her neck. He felt her kiss his cheek, a small grin coming to play on his face. He looked down at her and chuckled, "Glad to hear that." He told her and smiled feeling her start to trace his tattoos.

Holly led the way into the bedroom after they had gotten out of the tub and she shifted through her pyjamas before settling on a pair of boy shorts and a rather large shirt - it was one of Darcy's old ones that she had stolen from him when they were still teenagers. She hadn't really thought much about it and she pulled her hair up into a messy bun before she turned around to face David, a small smile on her lips as she made her way toward him. "Do you just want to watch a movie in bed or what?" She asked, figuring that it was best to just go with the flow so she would do whatever he wanted to, so long as the peace lasted.

David got out and dried himself off. He got on some boxers and then laid down in bed, his hair curling around as he ran his fingers through it. He heard her and murmured, "Hmm, nah. Maybe just go to bed or talk?" He said shrugging. "It doesn't really matter to me. Work was a bitch today." He didn't smoke in the house usuall, knowing it bothered her. He tried his best to smoke when she wasn't around. He looked over at her as he laid down in the queen sized bed. He waited for her to reply, not really looking at her clothes. He didn't bother looking at her clothes usually.

Holly climbed into bed when he did, honestly surprised that he was just ready to go to sleep but she was happy that he was. It meant that they could just cuddle and talk for hours - like they used to. BUt maybe she was getting a bit too ahead of herself. She yawned as she pulled the covers over their bodies and cuddled into him, setting her head on his chest. "I love you," she murmured, looking up to him with a small smile. "Do you have to go to work tomorrow?" She asked, wondering that since tomorrow was a Friday, maybe he wouldn't have to. TThere were some Fridays where he didn't work and she was kind of hopeful tomorrow would be the same.

David smiled and pulled her into his arms and cuddled into her as well. He smiled hearing her words. "I love you too." He murmured into her ear and kissed the side of her forehead. As he closed his eyes, he listened to her question. "Mmhmm," He paused before continuing, "but only for half of the day." He chuckled and then pulled her even closer, if that possible, and started to fall asleep. He was exhausted from today's events. Their room was broken from his tantrum. He would either ask her to clean it up tomorrow, or try and clean it up.

Holly waited until she was sure David had fallen asleep, content to just cuddle up to him for the rest of the night honestly. But she didn't want David to wake up to a messy room so she climbed out of bed once she was positive he was asleep and began to tidy the room as quietly as she could. She put things away and started to set things back onto the dresser. Turning to grab something else, her hip smacked into a half-open drawer that caused things on top to shake. Her eyes widened as she watched his display of jewellery tumble to the ground. Her entire body tensed, silent as she started counting in her head, trying to see if the noise of everything falling over onto the ground would have woken him up or not.

David slept like that for the whole night. He hadn't even woken up when she had accidentally knocked over his jewelry. He didn't have very much, mainly it was stuff he had gotten from his mother, but never wore. He awoke in the morning and saw his alarm going off. He groaned, standing and kissing her forehead before getting dress. He grabbed his keys and headed to work, not even bothering to wake up. He didn't eat breakfast either. He never did. He whistled as he drove to work not knowing that Darcy would text Holly that morning. He was too busy trying to have a good day.

Holly was busy doing her daily chores, cleaning the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and the bedroom. Her phone was placed on the coffee table in the living room as she moved about. She had music playing fairly loud as she sang under her breath. She wasn't expecting any texts or anything so she wasn't paying any attention to her phone bit when it began to vibrate on the table, she turned down the music a bit and plopped down onto the couch. Her face lit up when she realised it was Darcy, a smile coming to her face. hey you. how are you?

Hey sweetpea. I'm fine, what say you? Came Darcy's reply. He had been calling her pet names for years now. Just because she had a big bad boyfriend didn't mean shit to him. She would always be his Holly, and David couldn't take that away from him. He wouldn't have it. If he had to set his ass straight about it, he would. Of course he liked Holly, but he would never never never in a million years act upon it, especially if she had a boyfriend. He hummed as he highlighted shit in his text book for his course. (How about that for Darcy's character?)

Holly had more or less finished her chores so she was now just sitting on the couch, watching television. She was smiling as she read Darcy's text, not able to help the blush that had crept onto her cheeks. She had forgotten entirely about David coming home after just half a day at work and she quickly answered Darcy, good. I'm just watching tv and drinking tea! Darcy always teased her about how much she drank teea because nine times out of ten, that was what she was drinking. what are you up to? She set her phone down and instead reached for her apple cinnamon tea and took a sip of it, now looking up and paying attention to the show on tv.

Darcy laughed at her response and couldn't help the laugh that seemed to overwhelm him. It shouldn't of even of been funny, but it was to him. Always drinking that damn tea. Hmm, fucking highlighting shit, again. He sent to her a smile on his face as he started to highlight more getting more and more into his book. It was still morning at the moment. The time was about ten o'clock in the morning. He nodded and wished they could hang out again.

Holly chewed on her lip as she stared down at the text that she had just typed up, wondering if she should hit the send button or not. If she did, she knew it could end up causing trouble but she honestly missed Darcy so much. Other than the night before, she couldn't remember the last time that they had actually spend any worth while time together, you should come over for a few hours. Hang out. That way I can convert you to drinking tea! she laughed at the idea, knowing that she would never get Darcy as addicted to tea as she was. No way in hell.
