::Face Down::

Darcy used one hand to keep ahold of hers, the other on the steering wheel. He heard the sigh and glanced down at her as he parked in her driveway. He noticed she was exhausted and murmured, "Alright." He opened the door and went around to open the door for her as well and waited for her to unlock her house before walking in with her and turning away as she started to pack her clothes. It smelled of David in here. He hated it. He just wanted to be rid of that dick. He was still pissed, the lock in his jaw indicating as much.

Holly was moving slower than she wanted to, especially with the fact that she couldn't use her one arm as easily as she used to. She had caught the look on Darcy's face out of the corner of her eye and froze momentarily, her stomach twisting as she suddenly felt the need to rush through what she was doing. She thought that he was annoyed she was taking so long and not much else. Holly swallowed once she shoved the last of what she wanted to take with her and turned to him quickly. "Let's go," she murmured, holding her bag with her uninjured arm.

Darcy noticed she was rushing and frowned. "Hey, slow down." He murmured and rubbed her back. "I'm sorry." He murmured a frown on his face like he just kept messing everything up. He hugged her tightly and then let go, not wanting to hurt her. He took the bag gently and headed outside. He set her bag down in the back and started to drive and then shook his head and pulled over at McDonald's and ordered them both food and then headed home. "Eat please." He whispered, taking her hand gently.

Holly tensed up and immediately shook her head when he hugged her, apprehensive of what he was about to do. Her head was lowered a bit when he stepped back and when they turned to leave, she scurried to the kitchen to grab her two favourite teas. She was quiet the entire ride, chewing on her lip nervously. SHe frowned, confused when she looked up to watch as Darcy ordered food. And as much as she knew him, the amount he ordered, she knew he was trying to get her to eat. When they got to his house, she simply nodded at his request. What was she going to do? Tell him no after he just helped her get out of hell? She didn't think that was really an option.

Darcy hated David for doing this to Holly. He hated him. He chuckled when she grabbed her tea and said, "You and your tea." He had a smile on his face though. He got out and grabbed her stuff and the food and headed inside, holding the doors open for her. He then closed them and headed towards the couch and set the food down. He then set her stuff in his room before going in the kitchen and making her some tea. He didn't mind doing everything for her. He was easily doing everything as it was. He just wanted her to relax. He came back with her tea and handed it to her gently.

Holly sat down on the couch when he kind of motioned for her to and was patiently waiting for him to return before she touched the food - a habit that Darcy had gotten her into. It had only taken one time before Holly realised that she wasn't supposed to eat without the other's presence and so now it was a habit around anyone. Her face lit up a bit at the tea and she quickly thanked him, setting it down so that it could ccool a bit more before she actually drank it - she never liked when her tea was too hot. She cuddled into the couch and slowly began to nibble at her food. It was a habit because she was used to only eating small amounts because of Darcy, so the smaller the bites, the longer it lasted, so it felt like she had more food in front of her. "Thank you," she murmured with a small smile, looking up to him. It was nice to be cared for, for once.

Darcy smiled softly when she lit up about her tea. "You're very welcome." He murmured and started to eat his own food. Soon enough he was finished up with his own and set it aside before murmuring, "Want to watch a movie? If so, which movie?" He asked. Darcy actually liked Chick flicks. They were hilarious in his opinion. He didn't mind them one bit and was glad Holly was actually being taken cared of for once. He hated all the bruises and scars over her body. He hated David for doing it to her and swore to god if he ever saw that guy again without chains, he would beat the ever living shit out of him.

Holly had started to slowly sip at her tea and was quiet as she did so, nibbling away at her food. She managed to eat almost half of her burger and all of her fries before she was too full to eat anymore. ANd she couldn't help but feel incredibly uncomfortable because even when she did eat, she never really got full so it was weird to her. She looked up when he suggested a movie and smiled, nodding her head a bit. She wasn't going to argue - being able to just relax and watcha movie with him would be nice. "Letters to Juliet?" She suggested, chewing on her lip a bit. She was a sucker for chick flicks, especially if they were 'different' so to speak.

Darcy was happy that she had eaten and smiled at her watching her drink her tea. Hearing her request he laughed and said, "Sure." He turned on Letters to Juliet, since it was netflix and sat back in the couch before wrapping an arm around her gently. "I'm glad you're relaxing." He murmured to her and turned his attention back to the screen to watch the movie, a soft happy look on his face. He never really was this comfortable around anyone but Holly.

Holly cuddled into Darcy's side, quiet as she watched the beginning of the movie. Her eyes were roaming around the screen, trying to catch everything that happened. But when he spoke, her attention was back on her best friend. She smiled and nodded, leaning to press a kiss to her cheek. "So am I. Thank you," she murmured quietly, rubbing his arm gently. Her head was resting on his arm, watching the movie with a small smile on her lips.

Darcy was focused on Holly, not the movie. He didn't give a damn about the movie as he did about Holly. He heard her and blinked feeling her lips brush against his cheek affectionately. He smiled softly, "You're welcome." He was, sadly, unable to help the blush that formed across his cheeks when she had kissed his left cheek. He bit he lip, though.
