No Escape

I shook my head. "You told me that already. I asked what you'll teach me. I know I have to wait, can't I know what?" I asked.

He looked at her and smiled. "Do you want to go do something? We can go sit in the backyard or something."

"Just running and memory," he said to her sighing a littl.

She nodded a little,"Sure," she said to him lightly.

I nodded. "Alright." I murmured, finishing my food. "What do I do with my bowl, and where do I go first?"

He smiled a little. "Alright, come on. Let's go. I'll give you a tour and then we can go sit until it's time to start our jobs and harvesting."

"Put it in the bucket," he told her,"We're going to start harvesting,"

She nodded a little,"Alright," she said to him

I put the bowl into the bucket and stood, walking over to him. "Alright, what do I do?"

He looked up and sighed. "Maybe later. We've got to start harvesting." He said as he looked at her.

She nodded a little,"Alright," she murmured lightly as she sighed a little.

He smiled a little,"Just dump it, they get cleaned by someone else," he said, "Come on we'll go over here,"

I nodded a little, following him over to a line of plants. I reached for the vegetable and pulled it off, not knowing what to do with it. "Where does it go?"

He stood and headed over to the field. "We can clean and seal them. We wait for them to come over and then we make sure they're washed and put into jars."

He sighed and picked up a basket, "In here," he said to her, "Fill it then bring it over there then repeat til we're done," he told her,"

She nodded a little,"Alrigh," she murmured.

I did as he said, adding more to the bucket and going back for more. "Alright."

He handed her a jar and a bucket and began doing it himself.
