Love Overcomes All Odds

Roxy smiled and kissed him back deeply. "Even if this wasn't a real date; I couldn't picture being with you in any other way," she whispered as she traced small circles on his chest. "You are perfect to me, this is perfect," her voice rang quietly as she ran her hands through his hair gently. Snuggling closer to him, she buried her face in his chest enjoying how he held her.

Jake watched her carefully as she did so and kissed her back tenderly. "Anita..." He said softly as he looked into her eyes. "You're sure?" His voice rang softly as he placed his hands on her hips. He could feel himself shaking on the inside with anticipation though he made sure not to convey this to her. What he really wanted to tell her was that he would be her first if he could be her last.

Shawn smiled and kissed her softly holding her tighter his arms around her waist. He felt her naked body against his and he felt like he could rule the world. He ran his hand through her hair and kissed her neck gently. "I can't imagine my life without you in it." he whispered hoping she understood what he meant. Going slow was so hard for him with her because he was afraid to loose her but he knew they needed slow right now.

Anita blushed and nodded. "Yes I am sure." she said and smiled her hands moving down to the top of his pants. "Just be gentle with me." she whispered and unbuttoned his pants slowly dragging down the zipper her hands starting to shake. Shawn smiled and groaned. He rolled Roxy onto her back and kissed her deeper his hands starting to move over her body. Shawn smiled and kissed her back. After a while he pulled out but only so he could pull her closer. He kissed her shoulder and laid his head back on his arm as he rolled them onto their sides. He kissed her head and smiled. "Roxy you are amazing." he said and kissed her sweetly. "It's all going to be okay alright?" he asked and rubbed her back. "Do you trust me?" he whispered.

Anita moaned and arched. She listened to him her head spinning and the tears prickling at her eyes. "Jake..." she said her voice breaking as the tears spilled over. She started to cry her hands clinging to him. "I love you." she whispered and let the tears fall. She was an awful person and she knew this was wrong yet here she was with the only man she ever wanted knowing it would never work. Anita buried her face in his neck. Roxy looked up at him nervously as she bit her lower lip. She wanted to; she felt like she did. Was she sure? He couldn't even tell her he loved her. Shawn smiled softly as she said yes. He kissed her forehead cupping her cheek. He looked down into her eyes searching them. "Roxy... I trust you with all of me. She was truly glowing.

Even if he couldn't be there all the time, he wanted to make sure she had a nice reminder. Shawn smiled as she said those words. "I am happy to hear you say that." he said and kissed her head. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her shoulder. "Because I would really like to have you stay for a long time." he said and smiled his hand caressing up her back. He wanted so much for them but they needed this done right he hoped that she understood that. She seemed to but how long could they go slow. Shawn was terrified of not doing this right and losing her forever.

Anita moaned as his teeth met her skin. "Yes!" she shouted her nails bitting into his skin pulling at the skin leaving her own makes though completely unintentionally. Both Roxy and Shawn had tattoos. Roxy had a dream catcher with tiny birds on her left shoulder blade that wrapped around to her rib cage. Shawn had beautiful tribal tattoos on his back, chest, and on the parts of his biceps that were covered by a T-shirt.

Jake breathed heavily as his orgasm over came his entire body. Resting his head in the crook of her neck, he Nuzzled his nose into her sweet skin and took in her scent. "Wow is right," he murmured against her skin as he supported his weight on his forearms. After a few moments, he gently pulled out of her and laid on his back bringing her into his chest holding her close. "Good." Shawn said and smiled. He looked down at the tattoo she was pointing too. During the war he had come up with most of his tattoos and when he had returned he got them. He had gotten a few before he went though. "That one is bravery." he said having gotten that one before he left. He frowned slightly. He didn't feel very brave anymore. He traced one of her tattoos. "Tell me the story to this one." he whispered and kissed her shoulder smiling gently. He ran his hand trough her hair sweetly.

Anita smiled and curled up into him glad he pulled the blankets close. she looked up at the stars smiling. "I may be new at this but that doesn't mean I don't know what I am doing now and then." she winked teasingly and kissed his chest. Anita sighed relaxing as she cuddled into his warm body. She was finally starting to warm up. She sighed satisfied. Anita didn't know that she could be so satisfied after sex. She smiled over at him and kissed him softly. Why did he have to bring up her staying during sex though? Why during the first time? It was not good. He knew she couldn't... right?

Roxy noticed the frown after he explained the intricate detailing placed on his body forever. Leaning up, she kissed each corner of the beautiful line work and finished with a kiss over his heart. "I think you are more brave than you realize," she whispered softly before giving him a tender loving kiss. Laying back down and snuggling into his side, she sighed softly in thought. "I got it when I turned eighteen. It's a reminder for me to put all of the bad stuff behind me and to follow my dreams no matter what. I wanted to be free..." her voice rang quietly at the end as her memory flashed back to the man who left her, the mother who passed on, and the father who never loved her.

Jake chuckled softly and kissed the top of her head gently. "You are honestly the best human being I have ever met," he smiled down at her as he felt happiness continue to coarse through him. His arms tightened around her as he shared his body heat and gave her a warm and comfortable place to rest. His thumb brushed gently against her skin keeping her close as his eyes closed in pure bliss. He couldn't imagine being any happier than right here in this moment. "Was it everything you imagined?" Shawn smiled as she conclude him. He kissed her sweetly. "Thanks sweets." he said and traced her tattoo. He smiled softly at it's meaning. "It is beautiful... just like you." he said and chuckled. He cupped her cheek seeing the sadness hit her eyes. "Roxy honey do you want to talk about it?" he asked and kissed her head. He knew she had had something hard happen in her life but he didn't know what it was. Sure there had been tension between their parents but other than that he didn't know much about her life.

Anita frowned. "No Jakey you are the best person I have ever met. You don't know what you are saying." she kissed him sweetly. He asked that question and she turned bright red. She wanted to say mostly but he was so vulnerable. "Yes." she said softly. "I never knew that people could... or rather would talk during sex." she laughed and shook her head nervously. She hoped he wouldn't bring it up again. She didn't want to ruin this night.
