Anita buckled up and looked at him as he apologized again. She nodded softly as ge swore he would make it up to her. She looked into his blue eyes feeling like she could get lost in them but that was what got her in trouble to start with. She bit her lip a d nodded leaning forward and turned on the radio not wanting to talk about it anymore. All she needed now was to forget it. A song came on and she smiked softly singing along with it her voice quiet but beautiful. She leaned back against the seatand relaxed her eyes closing as a sweet smile spread across her lips. Anita blushed and bit her lip nervously. "Me? It is not a good idea for me to sing in front of a crowd. Besides I have no song of my own and I can not play the guitar. It would make for a bad show." Roxy blushed under his touch and reached up to caress his cheek gently. "So are you," she whispered softly before leaning up and kissing him tenderly. "Will you sing with me then?" She asked and got down from the truck. Anita looked between him and the basket. "Awe that is sweet." She said and took the basket gently. She blushed as he said she would do well singing. "It is comforting to know you will be there." Anita said and set her things on the sidewalk. She moved over to him and placed her hand on his chest. She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek. "I will see you around Jake." She said and took her things inside. She movined i to the livingroom of sorts.

Shawn closed his eyes and smiled gently as her fingers traced his face. He trailed his fingers over her side his other arm wrapped around her thin little waist. Shawn sighed relaxed. He was enjoying this a lot. "Are you tired?" He asked willing to let her take a nap. He wouldn't sleep near her. He often still woke with violence and he didn't want to accidentally hurt her.

Jake smiled happily as she did so. "See you around," he said softly as he let his hand reach up and touch his cheek gently where she kissed it. Hopping back into his truck, he set out to plan the evening's events.

A short and round woman was in the lobby area in the living room. She was short and plump and had her grey hair pinned up in tight curls. Her long dress was floral print to match her thick rimmed glasses. "Oh hello dear! " her sweet voice rang as she heard the bell ring when Anita entered. "You must be Anita. Jake has told me all about you. Please come upstairs and settle in. My name is Linda," she sang happily as she lead her up the floral print stairs

"I'm alright...just enjoying the company," she said softly as she snuggled into his side. "Though I do have to get ready for work soon. I have to help Elli out with the set up for tonight,"Roxy said quietlt not wanting to break the welcoming peacefulness around them. Her fingers moved to his chest drawing soft circles and shapes on his pecks absentmindedly.

Anita smiled softly at the woman wondering when he had time to talk to Linda. She followed her up the stairs and set her suitcase down beside her as the woman opened the door. "Thank you." She said blushing. "But I do not have money to pay. I have maybe a hundred dollars but my car is broken." She said and bit her lip. She didn't want to be dishonest about her ability to pay.

Shawn smiled and looked out the window nkticing the sun creeping up. He sighed and kissed her again laying down beside her pulling her close. "Thank you for this." He said softly. She didn't know what this meant to him. She was so gentle yet she had a ferocity about her that was intregging and made him come back for more. "I know it is a little late but let me take you out friday night."

"Oh no worries, Jacob took care of it already," she said happily as she lead her to the room. "He told me to make sure I had the honeymoon suote ready for you that way you could take a nice hot bubble bath. He called ahead and had me draw it all up. The side of the tub should be large enough to hold your breakfast dear, and he also wanted me to remind you that dinner starts at five oclock. If you would like to go, he'll be more than happy to pick you up," she explained as she gave Anita the key. "I'll be downstairs if you need anything," she smiled sweetly before heading back downstairs.

"Thank you for keeping your promise," she whispered back kissing him ever so tenderly. "I eould like that a lot," Roxy said happily as she snuggled into his chest resting her cheek on his soft smooth hard muscle. Her eyes began fluttering closed as she laid in his arms; her eyelashes tickling his skin like little butterfly kisses. Resting her arm on his stomach with her hand on his opposite peck. Her curls tickled his chest as they spread out over his warm skin, and as she brought her knees closer to herself, her cool feet entangled with his shin.

"He... but..." Anita blinked as the woman left. She turned around and set her things down. "A bath?" She wondered what he was thinking. She took the picnic basket into the bathroom with her. How would she even get a hold of him if she did decide to go to dinner with him? Where was dinner and would it be like a date? Was this his way of asking her out? Anita sighed and shook her head just wanting to destress. She got in the tub laying there for a little while before opening the basket bitting her lip. He seemed like he honestly was sorry and wanted nothing but to get to know her better.

Shawn stroked her hair as her eyes closed. "Sleep. I will wake you up in an hour so you can gt ready and I will drive you to work. I should help out too." He said and chuckled. Shawn kissed her head and yawned. He would take a quick nap in his car if he needed. He wouldn't hurt Roxy by sleeping here. He sighed and put an arm behind his head.

A few hours later, Linds knocked on Anita's door. "Ms. Anita, Jacob is wondering if you would like to go to dinner and asked me to bring you these," she smiled as she handed her a bouquet of sun flowers with a note reading "you are a ray of sunshine, and I would love to be able to have you join me for dinner. Music session first? Let Linda know, and if so, I will pick you up in five minutes. This is only a date if you like; if not, no worries darlin. This is all up to you :) "

Linda smiled at her sweetly, "does Romeo get a hyes?" She asked curiously with a wide hopeful smile.

Roxy snuggled close to him as she slowly began drifting to sleep. "You work us to the bone...should pay me overtime," she joked quietly as she took in his scent happily. Nothing smelt better than him. "You should sleep too," her sweet voice whispered softly as she continued to fall deeper asleep. Finally into dream land, she snuggled as close as she possibly could to him happily.

Anita sat on the bed and smiled at the flowers. She read the note and bit her lip looking up at Linda. She blushed and read the note again. She chuckled. "No funny buisness." She nodded. "Okay." She said softly and stood to find a vase. She knew he would know what she meant by what she said. Anita had to find something to wear and sighed. She had no cloths that worked for a place like this. All she had were skirts, dresses and heels. Anita searched through her bag and groaned. She had to find something to wear for their not a date date. She honestly hadn't decided if it was a date.

Shawn laughed. "I don't pay for sex, it is down grading to us both." He teased back and kissed her head again. He watched her sleep and smiled. She was the most tender thing but also the strongest he had encountered in a very long time. She confused him. He snuggled into her his face in her hair breathing her in. She smelt like sugar cookies and vanilla, it made him calm and he felt at home there in her arms.

Jake was waiting downstairs for her in a pair of blue jeans, a blue plaid button up shirt, and his signature boots and cowboy hat. His hands were in his pockets as he waited for her. Humming softly to himself, he tried to keep the nerves away. He had to have tonight go perfectly to hopefully be back somewhat jn her good graces.

Roxy slept more soundly than she had in a long long time. Stretching as she began to wake up, her arms found him once again making her snuggle back into his side curled up all warm and cozy. "Would it be too much if I asked if we could stay like this forever? You're just so comfy," her sweet voice mumbled against his chest.

She sighed and put the decorated hair comb in. She walked down the stairs carrying his basket. She smiled when she saw him and handed him the basket. "Hi." She said and kissed his cheek softly. "Thank you for breakfast." She said and and stepped back. Anita rubbed her arm and smiled sheepishly.

Shawn chuckled and kissed her head. "Well we will see." He said and rubbed her back. "It is time to get up and get ready darling." He said with his southern twang. Shawn smiled and lifted her face a little. He kissed her softly and the stretched. He yawned tiredly but he had gone without sleep before.

"Wow....you...ya look stunning," Jake smiled taking the basket from her. "It was nothin," he said happily as she kissed his cheek. "Come on, I got a real surprise for ya," leading her outside to a large brown horse. "I thought I might give you the real country experience," shoving his hands in his pockets, he looked over at her curious as to what she thought about the whole thing.

Roxy smiled before she got up and began getting dressed. "Didn't you sleep at all?" She asked curiously as she zipped up her jeans and slid her bra back on. Her eyes moved to meet his before a blush came to her cheeks. After fixing her shirt, she went over to his mirror to fix her makeup and hair looking presentable.

Anita blushed and smiled. "A surprise?" She asked and walked out with him. Anita gasped. She looked at the hourse and bit her lip. "It is beautiful. I have never seen a hourse this close before." She said and blinked a few times as if she didn't beleive her eyes. "Can I pet it?" She asked softly her hand coming up gently. She wouldn't really be able to ride the horse like normal because she was wearing a skirt.

"No but I will sleep later." Shawn said and smiled. He got up and dressed. He put his hat on and moved over to her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her neck over and over. He swayed lightly and chuckled. "You look great." Shawn said. He was so glad she had come over.

Jake smiled and nodded. "Of course!" He grinned and laid her hand gently on the beautiful horse. "Her name is Misty, and she is the most friends girl you'll find in these parts," his voice held such pride as he looked upon his horse with great love. "I was thinking we could go for a little ride before dinner. You can sit side saddle in front of me if you're comfortable with that," he offered as he looked down at her with soft kind eyes.

Roxy practically melted into his arms as he did so and blushed softly. "You look rather handsome yourself cowboy," she winked as she looked up at him with sweet eyes. She leaned her head against his chest and swayed with him gently. "Thank you for the invite," her voice rang quietly not wanting to break the sweet silence between them.

Anita giggled petting the horse and looking over at him. "Okay. A ride sounds good." She said and leaned gently against him. It was a wonderful thought. She wanted to learn to ride a horse the real way. She had never been around animals before and it was something she wanted to change. Anita turned to Jake and smiled widely.

Shawn smiled and kissed her neck. "Anytime." He said softly his lips playing softly on her neck. "Roxy what time do you have to be i to work?" He asked his hand rubbing her side. He was wondering if they might have time for a quicky before they had to go into work but he wasn't something he was going to ask. He would take her if they had any time right here against his dresser in front of the mirror.
