This I Swear

I laughed a little and sighed. "So do you. Alright, let's go." I murmured grabbing my bag.

She smiled a little and grabbed the case of sodas she'd bought and put her purse ontop of it.

"Do you want to take my car or yours? The address is way out of the city." I said as we walked to the garage.

"Yours," she said to her smiling a little.

I nodded and unlocked the doors, before climbing in and starting the drive over. "How was the rest of your day after I left?"

"Uneventful to be honest," she murmured lightly. "I was kind of bored, but I ate my food then went and took a nap," she laughed.

"Lucky. I spent my day organizing a court case that I won't be able to represent." I said with a sigh.

"That sucks balls," she muttered as she put the stuff in the car then climbed into the passenger seat.

I laughed. "Tell me about it. But I don't care too much. Maybe something better is coming."

"Maybe," she smiled a little,"We'll see what the future holds,"

I nodded a little, seeing the buildings become less in number. "We're almost there."

Yixing grinned as he watched two of the guys tease Jongdae. "Guys leave him alone, he's already nervous."

She nodded a little and sighed seeing a bunch of boys outside,"Whoa," she murmured lightly.

He sighed,"Oh thats her," he said and let out a breath, he didn't think she'd come.

I climbed out of the car and sighed, walking over to her. "I don't quite know how to go about this."

Yixing sat over by the grill, watching the food be cooked,

"Just say hi," she said to her as she opened the car door then grabbed the case of sodas from the backseat.

Jongdae smiled,"I didn't think you'd come," he laughed a little.

I shrugged a little. "Food is a pretty big motivation." I laughed. "And I was curious. This is Lucy." I said, gesturing to her.

She gave a small wave and let a really tall guy take the case from her. "Thanks," she murmured.

He smiled a little,"Well we have plenty of food and conversation to go around, thanks for bringing the drinks though, we can never have enough of those around here," he laughed.

She smiled a little as she followed him tot he tables that were put out in the grassy area.

I nodded a little and followed him over, going to sit down at one of the tables. "So, Is there a special occasion?"

Yixing got up, wanting to meet the girl Jongdae had made such a big deal over. He raised his eyebrows, it was Taelor. He knew her. His eyes went from Taelor to the girl on her right and he froze. "Lucy?!"

I nodded a little and followed him over, going to sit down at one of the tables. "So, Is there a special occasion?"

She stopped when she heard her name, that voice... it was so familiar. she looked for the voice and pushed past a few of the guys seeing Yixing. Lucy stared at him and didn't move, she couldn't believe it. "W..where have you been?" she whispered softly as she looked at him her eyes firm yet holding an amount of sadness that he seemed happy here. Without her.

Jongdae stopped, "Just a bar b que, no real reason," he smiled a little then sighed.

I nodded a little. "Oh I see. Well... Thanks for inviting me."
