Hold On Tight

It wasn't like Pietro to be so quiet and at a loss for words, so Lorna cocked her head slightly and looked at her half brother quietly for a few moments. Eventually she asked in a soft voice, "Are you alright?"

Pietro ran fingers through his hair. He was hesitant for a moment. Especially because he was about to ask for help, something he only asked for from Wanda. But Lorna was his baby sister and well maybe should could help. Without warning Pietro picked Lorna up and ran off to a private garden on Serval grounds. "I'm a mess, Lorna." He said when he finally let her down. He was pacing back and forth, quickly wearing out the grass that he was walking on. "Remy.... he kissed me..... and maybe I liked it.... and I'm trying to understand all of this and now my ex-wife that I still have feelings for is coming and I don't know what to do!" He was talking fast, very fast.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Lorna said, holding up her hands in a slow down gesture. She stared at the mid point of Pietro's pacing, unable to focus properly on him as he was walking so fast.
"Remy kissed you? When?"

Pietro stopped and took a deep breath. He really needed to be around more speedsters. He hated having to slow down during a moment of crisis. "Okay, it was after I was fighting him. He kissed me and I didn't look away. And I liked it. And I've been checking his ass out. And just I don't know what I'm doing, Lorna. The only person I ever chased was Crystal and that was years and years ago. What do I do?"

Lorna fought back the grin that threatened to spread across her face. It wouldn't help anything if Pietro thought she was laughing at his obvious distress. Instead she diplomatically suggested, "Well if he kissed you, then it doesn't seem like you need to chase him. Unless you don't think he was being serious?"

"I heard he kissed you too." Pietro said, a hint of irritation. "How am I to know if he is serious or just trying to see how far he can get?" His irritation in the situation was very clear. He didn't know what to do and he didnt know if this was just another one of Remy's stupid flirting games.

Lorna thought for a moment, trying to find the right words. "The only way to know is to talk to him. It's clear that you both have feelings for each other, but how deep those feelings go, I couldn't tell you. And him kissing me didn't mean anything, although I understand why it would bother you."
