Crazy in Love

Jimmy looked at Candace, "I have a seller aside from your friend. That will buy all of these." Jimmy told Candace. He took and smiled getting into the SUV as Zacky loaded the guns in. "You can ride up front the guys will sit in the back." Jimmy told Candace.

Katherine looked at Matt and nodded. She narrowed her eyes towards Brian hearing him grumble under his breath. She pushed her car door open, and got out. She walked along side Matt.

Candace nodded at Jimmy and climbed into the SUV. She rotated her shoulder as she got comfortable, feeling her bullet wound stretch a little, and she winced. She'd taken pain pills, but they would take a little while to start working.

Matt glared at the back of Brian's head. He knew the other man still wasn't happy about their newest hires, but he was going to have to get over it. If things were going to work around here, they needed to be a fluid team.

Jimmy took and drove to the warehouse and pulled inside of it. He got out and walked around opening Candace’s door as he stood at the side. He glanced at his watch and sighed, “The buyer should be here in a minute.” Jimmy said to Candace and the guys.

Katherine walked with Matt and shoved her hands into her pockets. She took and saw Matt’s narrowed gaze as she shook her head. She could handle her own when it came to Brian. She could take him down without him blinking.

"I mean, unless we have another place to be, he can take his time," Candace said. She figured since they already had a buyer they'd be waiting, but she was a pretty patient person. After all, she spent months getting inside gangs to gather evidence.

Matt had arranged for the first buyer to meet them in a hidden alleyway. It definitely looked sketchy, but the buyer was legit. Matt looked over when he saw the man approaching. "Brian, get the merchandise out of the bag," he ordered.

Jimmy nodded his head to Candace and smiled. "Alright then." He said to her and lent into the SUV. "The buyer should be here soon though." He said as he prepped everything for when the buyer arrived.

Katherine saw Brian get the stuff out of the bag and bring it to Matt. Katherine stood at his side watching the man close.

Candace leaned against the van with Jimmy, listening to Johnny and Zacky bickering about something stupid. Those two she liked, they were funny. Brian on the other hand, not so much.

"Didn't know you hired chicks now, Sanders," the buyer said as he approached. He eyed up Katherine and out of some habit, Matt stepped in front of her. "Alright, chill out. What have you got for me this time?"

Jimmy saw the car pull up as he straightened up. He saw Zacky and Johnny get into gear as he took and walked to the guy. "When did you hire a woman, Sullivan?" He asked narrowing his eyes. Jimmy felt the rage build inside as he stepped in front of Candace narrowing his eyes at the man. "Don't worry about who I hire, Zac and Johnny are bringing the merch." Jimmy said before glancing back to Candace.

Katherine watched when the man eyed her up and down. She saw the jealousy in Matt as he stepped in front of her. She kind of smiled to herself listing to Matt and the buyer speak.

"Excuse you, I'm not helpless," Candace said. "I can help." She followed Johnny and Zacky around to the back of the van and reached for a box. She gritted her teeth at the pain in her injured shoulder but still carried the box over to Jimmy and the buyer.

Matt motioned for Brian to bring the boxes over to the buyer. "We've got cocaine," Matt said. "All of it's pretty good quality, but some of it is better than the rest. So why don't you look it over and tell us what you think?"

Jimmy sighed watching Candace. He talked with the buyer and knew that the price he was trying to get him to take was too low. He turned and looked at Candace, "Think you could help me out?" He asked her.

Katherine watched the man eye the stash carefully. She shoved her hands into her pockets shifting her weight a little uncomfortable.

Candace shrugged. She didn't know what Jimmy expected her to help with, since this guy obviously already had his mind set on a price. "I think it's a little rude to low ball us like that," she said softly to the buyer. "I think...five grand is more than fair, for this amount and this quality."

After looking over the stash for a few minutes, speaking softly to himself, the buyer looked at Matt and nodded. "Let's negotiate prices, then." He looked back at Katherine. "You wanna help out with this?"

Jimmy nodded his head to the buyer, "I agree. That's more than fair enough especially for the amount and quality of the guns." Jimmy said to the man and saw him agree as he took and nodded to Zacky and Johnny and took the money from the buyer.

Katherine nodded her head and walked to Matt's side. She heard the man mumble something as she took and rolled her eyes. "Well with the amount you got here. It's well worth over six grand." She told the man staring at him.

"So is that it?" Candace asked, watching as the buyer started to talk on the phone, presumably talking to his own lackies to get the merchandise taken where he wanted it. "I mean, we just sold everything."

"Six grand is ridiculous," the buyer said. "I'm not paying that."

"Six grand is fair," Matt countered, stepping forward. He moved his shirt so that his gun was visible and the buyer's face went a little white. "And even if you don't think so, I'm sure our other buyers will."

Jimmy looked at Candace and nodded, "Pretty much. Wait for the cash, and we leave." Jimmy told Candace and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Where's the cash?" He asked the buyer in a rather hateful tone.

Katherine watched Matt as she bit on her lip lightly. She watched the man gulp before nodding his head to pay the money. Katherine smiled a little waiting for the buyer to pay. Once he did Katherine looked at Matt, "Is that it?" Katherine asked.

"Sounds simple enough, I guess," Candace said. She should've figured as much. There didn't need to be any theatrics in this line of work; it could get them caught.

"You seriously think I carry that kind of cash on me?" the buyer hissed. "My workers are bringing it, so just sit tight. They'll be here in ten minutes."

Matt just held up a hand to Katherine, needed a minute of silence to count the money and make sure it was all there. Once he was sure that it was, Matt shut the briefcase and gave a short nod to the buyer before motioning for Katherine and Brian to follow him back to their vehicle. "Yeah, that's it," Matt finally said to Katherine. "And now we go home, since we're out of merchandise."

Jimmy nodded his head to Candace and narrowed his eye at the buyer but nodded. He took and sighed leaning back into the vehicle waiting.

Katherine followed behind the two and nodded. She climbed into the vehicle and smile lightly to herself glad she had gotten him the price he wanted for the merch.

About ten minutes later, another vehicle pulled up on the opposite side of the street. Two men exited, one carrying a briefcase. He brought this briefcase to the buyer, who opened it up and looked it over for whatever reason before he handed it to Jimmy. "Okay, there's your money," he said. He looked over at his lackies. "Start loading up the shit, I don't like being out this long."

When Matt pulled into the driveway, he wasn't all that surprised to find it still empty. He was usually back before Jimmy, since it was usually harder to unload all of the weapons at once than it was to unload all of the drugs. The guns usually went for a bit more too, which didn't help. "I think I'm going to grab a beer and go swimming," Matt mused as they walked into the house. "We don't have anything else to do, so why not?"

Jimmy grinned taking the money and going back to the SUV. He climbed inside tossing the money back into the seat. He started it up watching Candace get up into the vehicle. He pulled out heading back to the mansion. "You did pretty good for the first deal you went on. Last one we had they flipped their shit when the client pulled in." Jimmy chuckled at the memory.

Katherine nodded her head going up to her room. She slipped out of her clothes and into a bikini. She let her hair fall out of the messy bun as she walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. She saw Matt getting a beer as she walked over and slipped in front of him making sure he got a good view. Right now she wasn't getting anywhere's and she needed to get closer with him. She grabbed herself a beer and smiled at Matt before disappearing towards the pool.

"Uh, thanks, I guess?" Candace said, chuckling softly. If only Jimmy knew some of the things she had seen in her line of work. He was understand why she hadn't flipped shit while she watched them sell high-powered weapons. "So are we going to head back to the house now?" Candace asked. "I could use a bath or something and maybe a nap. I do usually like to have someone to cuddle with when I nap, though." She glanced over at Jimmy as she said this, buckling her seatbelt.

Matt headed upstairs to change into his swim trunks, seeing Katherine heading upstairs as well, presumably to do the same. As he was going over to the fridge to grab a beer, he stopped as Katherine slipped in front of him. Out of habit, his eyes scanned her body and underneath his breath he softly mumbled, "Damn." He grabbed his beer from the fridge and followed Katherine outside, holding the door open for her, if only so that he could catch another look at her backside. "Did you grab a towel?" he asked.

Jimmy smiled at her as he pulled out heading for the mansion. "Yeah we're going home." Jimmy told her as he heard her say about cuddling when she napped. He grinned slightly to himself and kept his eyes forward on the road. "I can cuddle with you." Jimmy offered to her as he stopped at a stop sign.

Katherine looked at Matt and nodded, "Yeah its on that lawn chair over there." Katherine told Matt with a smile. She took and sat the bottle of beer down as she made sure to give Matt a good view of her ass. She grinned to herself as she stood back up before going to the pool and diving in.

"I might just have to take you up on that offer," Candace said softly, grinning slightly. She had a feeling it would be pretty easy to gain Jimmy's trust and get close enough to him to get the information that she needed. "First, I need a bath, though. For the relaxation. And I think it'll help my shoulder, you know?"

Matt sucked in a quiet, deep breath. It almost seemed like Katherine was doing all of this on purpose, but hell if he minded. He sat his own beer on the outdoor table and cannonballed into the pool, wiping the water away from his face as he resurfaced. "You know, I think we might have a couple of floaties you can lay on if you want," Matt told Katherine.
