Crazy in Love

Jimmy laughed at Matt’s response. “I’m not denying that I am, though.” Jimmy grinned at Matt. “I know I do. I know where I want to take things with her too.” Jimmy told Matt smiling. “I’ll call the power company when I get back to my room.” Jimmy told Matt as they reached their floor. Jimmy walked to his room to Katherine in the bed with Candace.

Katherine looked at the door and saw Jimmy. “I’ll go now.” Katherine said to Candace hugging her. Katherine took and walked out and walked back to her room. She saw Matt coming in behind her as she smiled climbing back into her bed. She laid down as the thunder crashed above causing her to whimper a little. She normally wasn’t scared of storms. But this time she was.

"Bye," Candace said to Katherine. She waited until Jimmy had climbed into bed next to her before she curled up close to his side, burying her face in his shoulder. Now that the power was out, it was quiet and she could hear every little rumble of thunder. "I guess you guys couldn't get the power to come back on?" she mumbled to Jimmy.

Matt chuckled softly as he crawled back into bed next to Katherine. "Don't tell me you're scared of storms, too?" he whispered. He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close, resting his hand in her lower back. "Jimmy's gonna call the electric company and see when we can expect to have our electricity back on."

Jimmy sighed shaking his head, "No we couldn't." Jimmy said to Candace frowning. "I called the power company. Their coming out to see what they can do." Jimmy told her keeping her close. He lent in kissing the top of her head for comfort towards her as he kept her close.

Katherine nodded her head and kept close to Matt. When she was in his arms she felt safe. "I don't like storms when it gets this bad." Katherine whispered keeping closer to Matt than she was before.

"Well they can't really do anything in the storm," Candace said. She knew it would probably be tomorrow before the electric company could get out here. She felt Jimmy kiss the top of her head and even though it was a little weird, Candace smiled to herself because she knew it meant Jimmy was already falling for her. "Do you know how much longer it's supposed to storm?"

"I understand," Matt said. He didn't really mind thunderstorms, even when the power went out, because they didn't have to deal with the severe weather that other parts of the country did. "The storm's making me sleepy, though," he added, yawning. "Always does, no matter what."

"Earlier today the weather channel said that it should end around two in the morning." Jimmy told Candace with a slight frown on his face. "Anything you wanna do to get your mind off of the storm?" Jimmy asked her.

Katherine giggled at Matt. "Go to sleep." She whispered to him. She kept close to him and rested her head on his chest and her hand on his lower stomach. She closed her eyes lighly and started to fall asleep.

"Besides going to sleep, no," Candace answered. She didn't know what time it was right now, but she was sure it was late, so maybe the storm would end soon. "I just wanna go to sleep."

"Don't have to tell me twice," Matt mumbled, smiling sleepily. He closed his eyes, listening to the rumble of thunder and the wind blowing as he fell asleep.

Jimmy woke the next morning as he saw the power had been stored some time while they were asleep. Jimmy took and smiled seeing Candace curled in his arms asleep. He laid there thinking to himself that he truly was lucky right now. He smiled just laying there.

Katherine shifted a little as she rubbed her eyes lightly seeing Matt still out of it. She saw the power back on and sighed in relief. She sat up slowly in the bed and stretched glancing over at Matt. She knew he was falling for her, and she knew it'd be a matter of time before she could leave these criminals and go back to her every day life.

When Candace woke up the next morning, she was glad to hear that the storm had long since ended and the power was back on. She stretched her arms above her head, taking her time with her injured arm. It hurt to stretch it, but she knew it needed to be done. She looked over at Jimmy. "I think I'm gonna go to my room and change clothes," she told him.

Matt groaned as he stretched his arms over his head, sitting up. He glanced over at Katherine and smiled slightly. "You sleep okay?" he asked. It seemed like once she'd fallen asleep she'd stayed asleep, because he hadn't been woken up last night. "Guess the electric company got the power back on," Matt observed, getting to his feet.

Jimmy got up and stretched and smiled at her. He nodded his head, "Alright." Jimmy told her and smiled. He took and got out of bed deciding himself to get changed for the day. "I'll meet you downstairs for some brekefast?" Jimmy suggested to her.

Katherine nodded and smiled, "I slept good." She smiled at him. "Yeah they must have done up in the morning." Katherine rubbed her face and smiled at Matt. "What's on the agneda for today?" She asked.

"Um, sure," Candace agreed. She went to her room and dug through her dresser for some clothes. The drawers weren't entirely organized since she hadn't been moved in long, so she still had to move things around. After she changed, Candace headed downstairs to the kitchen, finding breakfast being cooked by the cook.

"We're probably gonna go out and try and move some merchandise," Matt answered. "I'm probably gonna have you go out too, since you got so much for the stuff I gave you when I tested you. I don't know about Candace, though. I guess it depends on how her shoulder is feeling."

Jimmy took and got dressed as he took and headed downstairs. He took and walked in the kitchen seeing Candace already down there. He walked up to her seeing the cook preparing the food. "If you're shoulder is hurting to bad, you can set today out." Jimmy told her. "I'm sure that's what Matt will say as well. We're probably going to be moving shit around today since what happened last night." Jimmy told her.

Katherine nodded her head as she looked at Matt. "My contact told me last night he'd be waiting to give me a price and all." Katherine told Matt as she pushed the cover off and got out of the bed stretching. She walked over to her dresser and grabbed some clothes. "I'll see you downstairs." She smiled at him before going into her bathroom and shutting the door to get ready.

Candace shook her head. "No, I can go," she answered. Her shoulder still hurt and it was extremely sore when she moved it, but the only way to get it feeling better was to move it around. "I'll take a pain pill before we go, so I should be alright."

"Alright." Matt went down the hall to his room and went over to his dresser to pull out some clothes. He got dressed beforing going into the bathroom to put on some cologne and then headed downstairs.

Jimmy took and looked at Candace nodding his head, "If you're positive." Jimmy told her and smiled. He took and got him some food and offered to make Candace a plate.

Katherine took and finished getting ready as she headed downstairs. She walked into the kitchen seeing Jimmy and Candace talking. She grabbed her some orange juice and a bagel making her way to the dinning room. She sat down sighed taking a sip of the juice.

"I'm not helpless, I can do it by myself," Candace said. She grabbed a plate from the cabinet and started to make herself a plate. After she was done, she followed Katherine to the dining room. "So let's hope today goes better than last night," she said, sitting down.

Matt made himself a plate and a cup of coffee before he went into the dining room. This is where they'd have their little meeting before they went out to do their work for the day. They wouldn't all be together, so Matt liked to know what everybody planned to do.

Jimmy sighed a little as he made his plate and got his coffee. He sat down at the table and began eating like normal.

Katherine looked to Candace and nodded her head. "Hopefully it will." Katherine told Candace with a smile. "Feel better?" She asked pointing to Candace's shoulder.

"It's a little sore," Candace answered. "But that's to be expected, since I got fucking shot." She chuckled and took a bite. "So how do you feel about going out again and selling shit?"

"You're taking Candace with you, aren't you?" Matt asked Jimmy when he sat down. "I figured you could take her, Johnny, and Zack, and I'll take Katherine and Brian."

Jimmy nodded to Matt, "Yeah I can do that." Jimmy said finishing his food . He took and got up taking his plate to the kitchen and cup. He took and headed back out, sitting beside of Matt.

Katherine took and shrugged looking at Candace. "Gotta do it." Katherine said not liking it. She knew if she didn't it could blow their cover.

"Maybe it won't be that bad," Candace said. "I mean, we're not going on a heist, so maybe it won't be too bad. Nobody should get shot." She grinned as she finished off her food and pushed the plate aside.

"Alright, good deal," Matt said to Jimmy. He waited until everyone was sitting at the table before he started to explain what was going on today. He didn't want anyone else injured, so it was important that everyone was on the same page.

Jimmy listened to Matt telling everyone about what was going on. He nodded and saw everyone else agree before they finished up their eating. Jimmy looked at Katherine and Candace and smiled at Candace.

Katherine grinned at Candace and shook her head. "Yeah I see that." Katherine said to Candace and smiled at her.

"So where exactly are we going?" Candace asked, following Jimmy, Johnny, and Zacky outside. She knew they were going out to try and sell the weapons they'd gotten last night, but that was all she knew.

"Since there are only three of us, we're not separating," Matt said as he stopped the car. They usually didn't when there were only three of them. He looked over at Katherine. "None of our buyers know you yet, so just let me and Brian handle most of it at first."
