Skylar blinked but ran her fingers through her hair. "Well... Yeah. I didn't think a wig would go over so well, since I'd have to move a lot on the field, so..." she muttered before she shrugged. Shifting, she pulled out her phone before she moved to his bed and pulled up her photo gallery. "Here, you can see what I used to look like," she offered, though she had mostly forgotten about all the pictures she had of herself and Travis on there.

River smiled, as he looked through her pictures. "You were pretty hot." He teased her. Laughed as the look she gave him, "Sorry forgetting who you are already." He said, shaking his head. He looked over at her, smiling. She really had became one of his close friends that week.

"Weirdo," Skylar drawled out in response, though she sat on the bed while she waited for him to finish looking through the photos so she could get her phone back. "You'll have to forget the existence of these photos once I get that phone back, so you better enjoy them while you can," she joked lightly.

River looked at her, "Aw why?" He asked, smiling. He didn't want to see her get rid of hall her pictures. He knew that she would have to so that nobody caught on. River relaxed as he handed her phone back. "You excited for our first game?" HE asked.

"Because I don't want somebody figuring out my password and seeing all my female pictures," Skylar reminded with a shrug as she went ahead to start deleting the pictures of herself. She occasionally paused on the pictures of herself with Travis but deleted those as well. "Of course I'm excited. I think we'll have a good chance of winning, everybody's been practicing so hard."

River nodded, "Yea we usually do win, but it's always exciting." He said as he laid on the bed, staring at her. He couldn't help but look at her. He looked up at the ceiling and rested arms under his head. He closed his eyes and tried to think of ways to help her.

Skylar smiled slightly and nodded to his words. "Yeah, I can agree on that much," she admitted. Sure, she hadn't played a game with this team, but when she had played on her previous team, she had absolutely loved it.

River ended up falling asleep on his bed, his legs hanging off the bed. He slept quietly as she sat there on her phone.

Skylar turned her attention to him after a moment. Part of her wanted to sleep on the bed with him again, though she eventually shook him gently. "If you're going to sleep, at least lay on your bed properly," she said quietly before she moved to stand up to go to her own bed.

River woke up, looking at her, "Oh sorry." He said, laughing. He sat up and got changed into something more comfortable. He laid back on the bed, closing his eyes. He looked over at her, seeing her looking at him.

Skylar smiled slightly and shook her head, though she sat down and glanced over at him every now and then. When he caught her looking, she felt her face warm and she quickly looked away. "I think your bed is more comfortable than mine," she mentioned after a moment.

River smiled, "You just like sleeping with me." He teased. "You can sleep with me if you want." He told her. He relaxed as he pulled the blankets back for her. He knew she wanted to.

Skylar stuck her tongue out at him a little childishly, though she eyed him for a moment. Before long, she climbed from her bed and moved over to his. Climbing on it, she curled up close to him, unable to really help it, though she planned to blame it on the small bed if he ever brought it up. "Night, River," she murmured quietly, "Thanks for letting me sleep here."

River smiled, "No problem." He said. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. He woke up the next morning getting up and getting ready for the day. He was ready to have this school week ever with.

Skylar was still found asleep, though she had buried herself in the pillow once River had moved. The bed wasn't as comfortable without Damien, but she was still able to continue sleeping.

River looked at her, "Hey you might want to get up." He said waking her up. He smiled as she looked at him.

Skylar hummed quietly in response before she opened her eyes and peered up at him. After a moment, she moved to climb off the bed and nodded. "Okay," she murmured as she moved to the closet to get ready.

River got his books together then waited for Skylar. Once she was ready he walked with her to their first class. He sat with her and looked over as Marcus started talking to him.

Skylar leaned back in her seat, though she wondered how the day would be. Part of her hoped that it wouldn't be as bad as the day before had been.

River ran down the field, passing the ball to Skylar. He was glad that their first game was going so well. He was actually surprised that everyone was doing better than usual.
