Hungry Like the Wolf | Closed.

Quinn struggled to pull away from Matt, ripping open the stitches on her arm when she finally managed to get away from him. She opened the front door, shifting into a cheetah and began running the best she could with her injuries.

Matt's eyes widened as he watched her shift and run away. He was totally caught off guard, unsure what to think. He knew it was stupid, but he felt slightly betrayed. How could he have not known she wasn't a wolf? He needed to know who she was now. He quickly shifted into his wolf form and ran after her. He wouldn't be as fast, but he would have her in his sight and he could follow her scent.

Quinn ran until her body gave up on her and she shifted back into her human form. She leaned against a tree, panting softly as she tried to catch her breath. The brunette realized she had opened the wound on her shoulder, her eyes widening when she saw Matt's wolf form running right towards her. She continued running, tripping over a broken branch opened the stitches on her leg. She cried out in pain and began struggling to get up to run again.

Matt finally reached her once she fell, growling as he stood in front of her. He was aggravated because she was running from him. Why was she running? Who was she?

"I just want to go home," she whimpered. She clawed at the ground in front of her, trying to push herself up off the forest ground, crying out in pain when Matt pulled her up my her injured arm. She felt tears fall down her face as she submissively kept her head down and her eye contact down at the ground near her feet.

Matt turned back and pulled her up. "Who are you?" he asked.

"I just want to go home," Quinn repeated. "Please," she pleaded. She had been away from home way longer then she had intended to be especially since she had been injured.

"Not until you tell me who you are," Matt said sternly. "You don't come into my home for a week, lie to me, and then leave like nothing happened."

"I was injured and scared," Quinn whimpered. "Please I just want to go home," she repeated. "My son, Larkin, needs me." Quinn was an outcast from her shapeshifter pack after she had been raped by a rouge werewolf. "Please he's only a boy."

Matt looked at her for a moment before letting go of her arm. "At least come back with me so I can fix your stitches," he said.

Quinn shook her head. She needed to get home to her son even if she still was extremely injured. The last thing she needed was her five year old running out of what little food she had he could make on his own. "I need to go home now," she stated. "He's already been alone for way too long."

"Do you want to risk bleeding out before you even get to him?" Matt asked, nodding his head towards her shoulder wound, which currently was spilling blod down her arm like something you'd see in a horror movie.

Quinn frowned. She knew he was right and she hated that he was. It was bad enough another werewolf was seeing her naked and now she was going to eyed like a piece of meat possibly by the rest of his pack as well. "Once you stitch me up I need to go home," she replied. "Hunters attacked me when I was heading home to him."

"I'll take you there," Matt said. He lifted her up into his arms and began walking back home.

"My house is the small cabin three miles south of yours by the river," Quinn stated. She hated that she needed Matt's help to get home but Larkin mattered more than her and he always would.

Matt nodded his head. Once he got back to his and the guys' home, he set her down and pulled on a pair of pants for himself before he grabbed a blanket for her. He would take something from Laura's closet, but he didn't feel like being castrated today. He restitched her wounds before going to the kitchen to grab something for her to help with the pain. "Why were you shifted into a wolf anyways?" he asked as he came back with a pill and a glass of water.

"It's the only safe way to travel in these woods," Quinn stated. When she had just been walking through the woods in her human form was when she had been hurt and become pregnant with Larkin. She clung to the blanket tightly, making sure it covered her entire body, tensing as she smelled one of the others wolves enter the house.

Matt looked over when Brian walked in, raising an eyebrow when he saw the unfamiliar girl. "Who's that?" he asked. "Finally get a mate?"

Matt looked down at the girl and then back at Brian. "Yeah," he said. "So she's off limits."

"Okay, don't even worry," Brian said. "I won't touch her."

Quinn felt her eyes begin to water and tears begin to fall down her face when Matt said she was his mate. She didn't want to be his mate. All she wanted to do was go home and keep her son safe.

Matt waited for Brian to leave before he looked down at her. When he saw the look on her face, he frowned. "I didn't actually mean it," he said.
