Almost Easy

Lily shrugged a little,"I don't think so, I'm different, colder - less feeling; they wouldnt even recognize me anymore," she murmured softly, "Is it wrong of me to want them to remember how I was not who I am now?" she asked him gently.

He laughed, "Well maybe one day when I can own a small piece of land," he said as he looked at her

"Where do you live now?" She asked curiously. "Near here, I'm guessing."

[He sighed. "You aren't cold to me. Or to Maia. And if you wanted, you could find that part of yourself again. It would just take a bit of digging." He said to her.

"Would you believe me if I told you I used to be a good catholic girl, I promised myself to the man I would marry one day - by now I've had more partners than I can count - half I dont remember cause of the drugs," she said as she looked at him, "Would my family accept that? I'd never want to go back without you," she whispered to him softly. "You've kept me grounded; I don't really know what we are but I care about you,"

He nodded, "About twenty minutes away - its a smaller place, not too big," he told her smiling, "I'd love to have something built over top of this one so I can live there,"

He sighed. He didnt know what they were either, but the last thing he wanted was a label to complicate it. "You've been missing for years, it would be crazy of them to think that you would return exactly the same. They need to accept you how you are and how you've become, because what's important is that you're safe and alive. Not how much you've changed."

She nodded a little and sighed. "It would be easier for you, being able to live close." She said, holding the puppy.

Lilith nodded a little as she sighed then looked at him, "People suck, how can you bring girls into this life? Hurt them, drug them, rape them; especially when some of these men have daughters and sisters who they'd kill for to keep them out of this?" she asked him lightly then shook her head. "It's why I stopped the human trade, it's disgusting," she muttered.

He nodded, "It would be," he agreed as he looked at her, "Maybe I will, since it'd be closer, less bills," he admitted.

He sighed a little. "Unfortunately people don't think that way," He murmured. "That's just how some people are."

She smiled a little, walking behind the counter. "Can you show me how to make a drink? Show me how to make my favorite, or yours." She said, looking at all of the equiptment. Normally she didn't like getting close to people but he made her comfortable.
