Chris nodded head before racking his brains to decide what he wanted for dinner. "Let's do Thai. We haven't had that in a while."

Angelo nodded. “Thai it is.” He said and headed into the kitchen to call. He came back a few minutes later. “It should be here in about thirty to forty minutes.”

Chris nodded his head. "Sounds like a plan to me. Did you order the usual?" He asked, getting up from the couch and heading into the kitchen to get something to drink.

“Yep.” Angelo said as he grabbed a bottle of water and went to sit down. He checked his phone but still no word from Piper.

Piper yawned, rolling over and grabbing her phone. She figured she might as well text Angelo to let him know she would be home late. Hey, babe. If I don't end up crashing here I'll probably be home late. Do you want me to bring YOU home anything for dinner? Chris can fend for himself.

Chris pulled his own phone out of his pocket, checking to see if anyone had texted him while he was napping.

Angelo chuckled at the text. Hey baby, don’t worry about it. I ordered Thai for Chris and I But if you do come home, just get yourself something. How’s Vanessa?

Vanessa rolled over and looked at Piper. “Is Angelo wanting you to come home?” She asked sleepily.

She's doing just about as okay as she can right now. Not exactly great, but she's not crying anymore. Piper texted back before looking over at Vanessa. "Nope, he just wanted to know how you were doing."

Chris got up and headed to the kitchen, deciding to make hismelf some tea while they waited for the Thai food.

"How nice of him.." Vanessa mumbled and got up. "I'm going to go find something to eat...if you want to head home you can, you don't have to stay.." She told her. "But if you want to stay, that's cool too."

I had a talk with Chris, so don't worry. Angelo sent back to her and then got up when the doorbell went off. He grabbed the money for the food and paid the delivery guy before thanking him and bringing the food into the kitchen.

“I’m gonna stay for a little bit longer, so unless you’re sick of me I’m not moving.” Piper teased, sticking out her tongue. Did you talk to him about how he’s moving out of my house? I’m not having someone under my roof who looks down at how my best friend and I choose to make our money.

Chris looked up as Angelo headed back into the kitchen. “Wow, that was actually pretty fast this time.” He said in a surprised tone.

Vanessa smiled, "I could never get sick of you...are you hungry? I'm thinking of ordering Chinese." She said as she waited for Piper to follow her downstairs. She also needed a cigarette.

Angelo looked at the text. "Piper wants you to move out." He told Chris as he got his own food. I did not, babe. I just told him you want him to move out, he seems shocked. I'm sure we can all sit down and talk about this as rational adults...also he told me it has nothing to do with her being a stripper as to why he didn't go on the date...he's just...Chris...he's basically afraid of love, you know that. Angelo sent back to her.

Piper nodded her head as she got up to follow Vanessa. "I'm fucking starving. Chinese sounds amazing." She looked down at her phone to see that Angelo had texted her again. Honestly that was probably an overreaction, but he didn't see Nessa. I did. It's gonna take one hell of an explanation for him to get back in my good graces.

Chris raised a brow at Angelo's statement. "No offense, but Piper is dramatic as fuck about stuff sometimes." He spoke before getting his food and sitting down at the kitchen table.

Vanessa nodded and went to place the order while Piper texted on the phone with Angelo. She came back a moment later, "food is ordered...should be here within thirty to forty minutes." She said as she sat down with her friend.

"I know." Angelo said. He'll think of something, babe...don't worry. He sent to Piper before he started eating.

Piper nodded her head. "Okay, awesome. Did you get the usual?" She asked curiously.

Chris just dug into his food,deciding not to press the issue any further. He would deal with it when Piper came home.

“Yes I did.” Vanessa said. She looked at her friend. “What did Angelo want?” She asked her.

Angelo also began eating. “You need to think of a way to apologize to Nessa.” He told Chris.

"He was just seeing when I was gonna be home tonight." Piper yawned. "I told him I'm gonna leave when I finish dinner." She pushed her hair out of her face.

"I know," Chris spoke, taking a bite of his food. "I'll think of something." It was going to take a lot of work, but that was a risk Chris was willing to take.

Vanessa nodded. “I’ll be okay.” She said whenever she caught Piper giving her “that” look. “Promise.”

“Do you even like her at all?” Anfelo asked. “Piper is coming home later, so let’s try not to fight amongst each other.” He told Chris.

"I'm still gonna call you before I crash tonight, so." Piper shrugged when Vanessa started looking at her. "Shut up, I care. It's what I do."

"Of course I do. If I didn't, do you think I'd let her get that drawing of mine tattooed on her arm?" Chris held back an eyeroll when Angelo mentioned Piper coming home. "I'll be good. Her, I don't know."

Vanessa sighed. “I figured.” She said. “Wanna go have a cigarette? Maybe the food will be here by the time we’re done.” She said.

“Well I’m not going to play referee between you two so try not to kill each other.” Angelo said.

Piper nodded her head, grabbing her smokes out of her hoodie pocket. “Yeah, I could use a smoke or six.” She yawned.

“I would expect you to,” Chris spoke as he ate. “I can promise that I’ll act like an adult.”

"Me too." Vanessa sighed as she grabbed her smokes too. She followed Piper out to the patio and sat down on one of the white lawn chairs before lighting up. "Promise me you won't kill Chris when you go home...I know you're mad at him but I think he owes me at least an explanation before you kill him." She said, exhaling a smoke ring.

"The best bet is to just stay in your room whenever she comes home and let me deal with her if she's on a mission to kill." Angelo said, boxing the food up that he couldn't finish, so he could save it for later.
