"You did say twenty minutes," Matt laughed at his best friend's antics. He climbed into the back seat between Zack and Johnny. "Okay, who's bright idea was it to let Jim drive? We're gonna crash on the way there." He teased.

They arrived about a half hour later, and Matt was shocked at how packed the drive in was. "Christ," he mumbled, running a hand through his hair.

Glancing around, Chrissy smirked to herself. All she wanted was to help her friend... It had been a long time since she and Jake had broken up, and Arielle had avoided men altogether since. "Arielle!" Chrissy called out, nodding towards the group of guys that had just pulled in. "The one with the snake bites." Chrissy stated.

Arielle looked around, finding who her friend had pointed out almost instantly. She recognized one of the men he was with - the guy who bought six cases of beer. Not wanting to chicken out, Arielle bit her lip before giving Chrissy a look and walking over to where the men were.

" Hey and there's a bar. How bout that." Brian grinned. He was liking this place already, and it seemed to be where everyone in town was. People were crawling to area left and right. Looking around he shrugged "I'm gonna grab a beer - anyone else?"

Jimmy nodded, following Brian over to the bar to get beers for the rest of them. As they waiting, Brian looked around... hoping that just maybe Kara would end up here.

Kara was nursing a glass of whine (what else) when she saw the guy from the liquor store walk in with a guy who appeared to be about eight feet tall. She raised a brow, laughing slightly. "Well hello there, mystery liquor store man! Small world." She tipped her glass in his direction.

"You guys do whatever, I'm gonna grab some snacks." Matt spoke, realizing how hungry he was. Leaving Zack and Johnny to park the car, he headed over to the little concession area. Since Brian had picked up the booze, the least Matt could do was buy everyone's movie snacks.

"Small town is more like it." Brian chuckled, seeing the girl from the liqour store seated at the bar. "Kara was It? I'm Brian, this buffoon over to my left is Jimmy." He explained, grabbing the seat next to her as he waited for the five beers. "So tell me, is this the only place people in this town can get go for fun?" He questioned, curious if there were any other hot spots around.

Watching as the group separated, the one she was supposed to kiss walking towards the concessions, Arielle picked up her pace. She was able to catch up to him just as he got in line. Biting on her lip as she glanced back at her friends, Arielle decided to just do it. Walking up to the man in question she tapped on his shoulder, waiting for him to turn around before she stood on her toes and quickly placed her lips against his - she didn't want to start making out with him until he reciprocated the kiss... who knows if this guy had a girlfriend and would push her off.

"Well hello, Brian and Jimmy." Kara spoke, sipping the remainder of wine from her glass. "Pretty much. Unless you wanna go to Wal-Mart, but they close at two am." She spoke, only half joking. "Already run out of all that booze you bought earlier?"

Matt turned around, expecting to see one of the guys. He got the shock of his life when it was some girl he'd never seen before, and she stood on her tiptoes to kiss him. He was shocked for a second, but then he started to kiss back. She was hot, so sue him. When they pulled a part, Matt raised a brow. "Okay, not that I'm not flattered, but what was that about?"

Brian smirked, clearly the girl had some sass and he liked it. It wasn't often that he received lip from someone that wasn't in the band and it was refreshing. "Already out of that wine you bought earlier?" He shot back at her, smilimg loghtly as Jimmy watched on, confused.

When the man began to kiss back, Arielle wrapped her arms around his neck, forcing their bodies together as the pair made out in front of the concession stand. When they finally pulled away from each other Arielle's cheeks flushed, he was a lot cuter than she thought he'd be. "That was... well... " she debated telling him the truth but as she glanced back at Chrissy she decided against it. "It's my way of saying hello, my name is Arielle."

"Actually, no." Kara smirked, putting her glass down on the bar. "I decided it was kinda pathetic to be drinking on my couch with the dog. It's much more socially acceptable to drink alone in public." She gave Brian a wink.

"Well hello, Arielle, my name's Matt-- definitely nice to meet you." Matt chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Do you do that to everyone you meet?"

"Even more acceptable to be drinking in public with someone. Mind If I hoping You? Brian smirked, enjoying the witty remarks. Jimmy had taken the other beers and returned to their friends already, and Brian had a feeling they wouldn't be expecting him back any time soon.

Arielle blushed, shaking her head at his reasonable question. "No not everyone... just the cute ones..." She stated, biting down on the inside of her lip "Right now I'm at a lifetime total of one." She smirked lightly, shaking her hair away from hwr face and across her shoulders.

"Go right ahead," Kara smirked, ordering another drink for herself. "Whatever floats your boat." She sipped the drink when the bartender brought it back. "So, Brian, what brings you to the middle of nowhere."

Matt raised a brow and laughed. "A lifetime total of one? Well, I feel special. I'm at a lifetime total of one time of being kissed by a gorgeous stranger."

Brian thought for a moment, deciding to tell her the truth in hopes it didn't completely backfire. "Well, actually I'm here with my band. We wanted to get out of the city so we could focus on writing our album."

"You should feel special." Arielle glanced over at her friends. They were gawking at the fact that she was still over here talking to him. "Wait until you find out how I say goodbye. " she teased, her eyes darting back to Matt.

A lightbulb went off in Kara's head. "That's where I know you from! I knew I wasn't crazy." She spoke, running a hand through her hair. "You have one of those faces where you know you've seen it before."

Matt blushed slightly in spite of himself. "I can hardly wait to find out," the singer winked. He was curious as to why this was happening, but to be honest he didn't care. This was the most attention a woman had shown him in months.

Brian nodded slightly, confirming her suspicions. "But keep it on the down low. We don't want anyone finding out we're here." He stated, taking a swig of his beer.

Biting onto her bottom lip, Arielle considered only for a moment before taking his hand and leading him away from the line to the opposite side of the building before she backed herself against the wall, pulling him back in for a second kiss - this time out of sight of her friends.

Kara made a zipping motion over her mouth. "Secret's safe with me." She spoke, tipping her glass in his direction.

Matt raised a brow, this time kissing back a hell of a lot sooner. "I'm the luckiest guy in this whole damn place," he smirked when they pulled apart.

"So what about you. Tell me something about you." Brian cocked his head, looking over at her. There was something about her he just couldn't place, something different.

"Well your lucks run out... I'm off." Arielle smirked, moving to the left to walk away from him and back into the crowd.

"Well, I'm twenty five and I've lived in this town my whole life. Kinda depressing." Kara shrugged, sipping her drink again. "I work at the only hair salon on the edge of town."

Matt raised a brow, wondering what the hell was going on. He stood there for a second to collect his thoughts before heading off into the crowd to find his friends.

"It's not that depressing." Brian chuckled "Its nice to live in a small town. I live a small town - small for California that is - and it's one of the finer things about my life."

Chrissy all but attacked Arielle as she returned the the small group of friends, they were stunned that she mad done it - and to be honest so was Arielle. She did regret not asking for his number.... he was a damn good kisser and she wouldn't mind doing that again.

"That's just it. I know there's a ton more out there, but the farthest I've ever gotten from here is the next town over." Kara shrugged. She finished her wine before turning to face Brian. "I wanna get the hell out of this place."

Matt eventually found the guys, waving them away when they asked what he had been up to and where the hell was their food. "Where's Brian?" He asked, attempting to change the subject.

"You should try to hop onto a tour, it'll take you across the globe." Brian smiled finishing off her beer. "Im gonna head back over to the guys, you're welcome to join us. "

As she walked back to her car, Arielle's heart skipped a beat when she realized that Matt, the man she had kissed, and his friends were parked only two spots away from her. Him alone she was okay with, him with all his friends scared the lights out of her.

"That sounds like fun-- I wanna see what other weirdos you're friends with." Kara teased. She paid her bar tab before getting up and following Brian back to wherever he was parked.

Matt looked over and his heart jumped in his throat when he saw that the mystery girl was a few cars over from him. Christ... this is gonna be awkward. He thought to himself.

Brian grinned, nodding his head in a way that said 'follow me. He quickly lead her over to the group of guys he had known over half his life. " Guys this is Kara. Kara, you've met Jimmy... this is Zacky, Johnny, and Matt."

Arielle glanced over again, averting her eyes quickly once she realized he had seen her. Deciding against her better judgement, she grabbed a small sheet of paper and wrote down her number. He strolled over to Matt and smiled at him "Long time no see."
