Kara decided to switch it up for a change. "Miller Lite?" She spoke. The bartender nodded, grabbing Kara what she requested. "Thanks." She tipped the bottle in Brian's direction before taking a sip."

"Oh yeah?" Matt nodded, listening to what Arielle had to say. "it's a pretty nice cabin... I'm glad that they trusted us with it." He spoke, finishing up his beer. "We'll leave the place nice, I promise."

"I sure hope so, some of my favorite memories are in that cabin." Arielle smiled, thinking fondly of her high school days where practically the whole class would sneak off to her parents cabin for parties.

"Anytime." Brian nodded his head "So I gotta ask, you don't seem like the type of girl that would listen to our music. How'd you know who I was?"

"My ex was into your kind of music. He dragged me to a couple of concerts, and I think one of them was yours. You sound pretty good, from what I can remember." Kara spoke, sipping her beer again. "You never forget a face like yours." She winked.

"Well, I hope to make a few nice memories of my own." Matt spoke. "If you don't mind me asking, why don't you live out there? It seems like it would be perfect for them." He didn't want to pry, he was just curious. Matt always liked to get to know the people around him.

"No internet access. It's not great in town but its better than in the woods. I usually go there when I wanna get away from it all but my parents... well they went on a vacation and it needed to be funded, so they rented it out. " Arielle explained, leaning her back against the car.

"It is a pretty memorable face." Brian joked, takng a drink of his own beer. "Stop me if ive gone too far, but did you mind if I ask what happened... with your ex I mean. "

Matt nodded his head, listening as Arielle spoke. "That explains how we got it... I might end up renting it again in the future. It's nice out there." He sighed before finishing up the rest of his drink. The woods and nature were always his happy place, where he wanted to go when he didn't want to deal with anything else. "Where abouts do you live in town?"

Kara rolled her eyes at Brian's face comment. "No, you're not going too far. Turns out that after six years, he was cheating on me with his slutty coworker. A real peach, huh?"

"Yea, a real peach." Brian shook his head. "How in the world could anyone, ever, cheat on you. You're gorgeous." He mused. He mostly meant for it to be a thought to himself, but the 5 beers he's had today weren't helping him.

Arielle smiled "Don't worry about renting it. I'm buying off my parents soon, so long as it's you... I don't mind if you swing by for a bit to get away. Just make you you let me know you're in town." She winked, biting on the inner edge of her bottom lip. "As for me, I live about.... 6 miles that way." She guessed, pointing in the general direction of her house.

Kara raised a brow at his next statement. "I'm gorgeous, huh? Well, thanks for the ego boost." She spoke, sipping her beer again. "You're not that bad looking yourself, if I'm being honest here."

"So long as its me, huh? Can't bring the guys back?" Matt joked, winking to show that he was kidding. "Nah, I'm just screwing around. When I come back it'll definitely be by myself." He looked in the direction that Arielle pointed in. "So, ma'am, how is it that a girl like you doesn't have a man in her life?"

Arielle bit her lip, looking down at the ground. She spoke softly as she explained. "I had one... we actually started dating as sophomores and were together up for seven years. Everything was fine until we left school. Then he was just really controlling and... well it wasn't good. He went to jail last year after he hit me... because I bought the wrong jam." She finished off bitterly

"I only speak the truth love." Brian nodded, taking a sip of his drink "And that's good to know." He grinned, somewhat slyly. She had confirmed that she thouvht he was attractive and thats all he needed to dignify making a move.

Kara raised her beer again. "I propose a toast-- to two people who both think that each other is attractive." She clinked beers with Brian, giving him a wink before drinking from hers.

Matt frowned, listening as Arielle spoke. He suddenly felt like a dick for bringing it up. "I'm sorry.... fuck that guy, he's a piece of shit. No real man would put his hands on a woman. I'm sorry you've had to go through that."

"Don't worry about it." Arielle looked up at him, forcing a small smile "What's done is done. What I'm focused on now is what's in front of me. And right now, that's you." She turned towards Matt, giving him a small wink.

"Agreed." Brian tipped his head in agreement, letting out a quick chuckle under his breath before taking a sip of his drink. "So what're your plans for the night? "

"Well, lucky me," Matt smirked, looking Arielle up and down. "I can definitely say the same thing-- what's in front of me is definitely worth focusing on." He finished up his beer before tossing it in the nearby recycling bin.

Kara shrugged, running through her plans in her mind. "Honestly, I'm probably just gonna go home and crash." She thought for a second. "Why, what's up?"

"Well I was thinking, why don't you come on by the cabin. After the movie of course." Brian shrugged, throwing the idea out as nonchalantly as possible. "Knowing Matt he's gonna bring Arielle back, we could all hang out

Arielle bit her lip lightly, suddenly hyper conscious of just how much skin she was showing. She watched as his eyes scanned her body and somehow knew exactly what she wanted. "From what I've seen you're all talk. Gonna have to be a little bit more action if you wanna play my game." She smirked at him, this time making sure he watched her bit her lip gingerly.

Kara thought briefly before nodding her head. "That sounds like a good idea." She spoke, giving Brian a smile. "Even if he doesn't, you and I could always hang out." She gave the guitarist a wink before finishing up her beer.

Matt smirked before running his tongue over his bottom lip. "Is that right?" He spoke, putting a hand on her hip before pulling her closer. "And just what kind of action would the lady like to see?" Matt bent down slightly so their lips were just inches apart, lingering for a second before kissing her.

Arielle watched Matt as he leaned into her, loving the feeling of his hand on her hip, pulling her closer to his body. Her heart skipped a beat as he lingered over her lips, and exploded once he closed the gap. Instinctively, her hand moved to the back of his neck, pulling herself closer to Matt's body. Every inch of her body told her that she wanted him, but her mind told her not to be hasty.

Brian raised his eyebrows, shocked at her forwarders. He had convinced himself that hed need to move slow with her, not be pushy. But from the sounds of it, that was exactly the opposite of what he needed to do. "That we could." He nodded to himself

Kara tossed her beer into the nearby recycling bin before turning her attention back to Brian, a light blush on her cheeks. She normally was not so forward, especially after what happened with her ex, but all the booze she had was starting to loosen her inhibitions. "Or we could just go back to my place, it isn't that far from here... up to you."

Matt rested his other hand on the small of Arielle's back, holding her in place so she didn't fall. He only pulled away when it was absolutely necessary to breathe, and even then he still held her close to him. "Well, do you still think I'm all talk?" He smirked.

"Your place sounds good to me, gotta leave Matt my keys though, we bright my car and I can't leave them stranded." Brian nodded towards Matt and Arielle, who were currently making out against the hood of his car.

"Its a bit better, but you're gonna have to step up your game city boy. Country girls are a little more wild than you're used to." Arielle winked at him, speaking softly - her lips only inches away from his.

Kara cleared her throat, looking at Matt and Arielle. "Excuse me, lovebirds, but Brian has to drop off his keys." She looked over at Arielle, giving her a wink. "I'll text you in the morning?" She asked, slinging her purse over her shoulder.

Matt was about to hit back with a response when they were interrupted by Brian and Kara. He played it off like he was totally fine and not embarrassed, giving Brian a nod as he grabbed the keys. "Don't get kidnapped," he joked to Brian.

"Hey if she's the one doing the kidnapping and there are handcuffs involved, I don't think is mind too much." Brian joked, handing off his keys."Dont you go corrupting this poor girl now. "

Arielle smiled to herself as she gave Brian a small wave. "Details." She nodded at Kara, waving goodbye to her as well. Turning her attention back towards Matt there was a glint in her eye, shining as she spoke. "Looks like its down to two." She smirked.

Kara looked over her shoulder as she and Brian headed toward her car, giving Arielle a wink. "Now I wasn't gonna say anything, but you don't look like a fluffy pink handcuff kinda guy." She joked.

Matt stuffed the keys in his pocket, a smoldering look on his face as he gazed at Kara. "Well, it definitely does." He spoke. "What was it you were saying about country girls? Something about being wild? I'm pretty sure I can handle you." He winked.
