Zoey smiled and said, "Alright." She nodded hearing him and said, "Yes. Means I don't have to walk." She laughed grabbing her bag and her phone and heading to his car. She got in before getting out when they were at school. She headed into the school with him ignoring the whispers she was getting. She knew someone was going to ask her about it later but she didn't really care. Let 'em talk. That's all they did anyways.

Taven laughed and said, "Usually I nap in detention." He told her shrugging. He worked on the project occasionally asking her questions and smiled at her. He checked his phone letting James know he was going to pick him up tonight. He went back to working nodding his head as he checked over some of teh stuff.

[Okay, I shall skip. I literally can not wait for Taven and Meilani to be in a relationship The wait is killing me. XD]

James sat in his apartment, thinking about Zoey. He knew she probably wouldn't be interested in him if she knew that he was really into some bad stuff. He sent Taven a text message Are you ready? He knew that his friend was probably just getting out of detention. James laid back on the couch, closing his eyes as he waited for Taven's response.

That night Meilani sat in her room, working on her homework. She wondered what kind of stuff Taven was doing. He had told her he would text her when he was done. She bit her bottom lip lightly thinking about him. She wondered if he really did things that he shouldn't be doing.

Zoey sighed as she laid down wondering what the hell James and Taven were doing. She knew they did some stuff for money, but she didn't know specifics and had pledged to herself that she didn't want to know at all. She instead just talked with her mom since it was her night off and laughed as they got ready for their weekly movie.

Taven texted James saying he was ready and on his way. He made it to James' apartment and went through the door and said, "Sorry the teacher literally gave us detention for nothing." He let him know shrugging. "You know how it is." He waved his hand and said, "What is it we are doing tonight? Getting money from someone?" He asked him.

James looked at Taven, "Yea we are going to get some money from this guy and then hopefully go home." He said. He was just wanting to get the night over with. A part of him was ready to finally be out of this lifestyle, but he also knew that he really needed the money and that he couldn't afford it.

Taven nodded and said, "As long as we aren't doing the stabby stabby anymore." He said sighing as he drove to the address James got him. He knocked on the door and crossed his arms having his leather jacket on and waited for teh guy to answer. "Yo. Declan wants his money." He said looking at the dude.

James chuckled, "No more stabby stabby." He said. He watched as the door opened, frowning. When the guy went to run he grabbed him, "I hate when they try to run." He said, pulling the guy inside. He punched the guy in the stomach.

Taven sighed and said, "Why can't you just give us the money and make your life less painful." He shook his head and grabbed him by the shirt and shook him. "We just need the money you owe and we'll be on our way. You aren't getting out of this. The only way we're leaving is with your ass handed to you or with some cash." He said raising an eyebrow. "Which way do you want it?"

James hit the guy a few more time. He was glad when the dude finally gave them what they wanted. He threw the man to the ground then walked out, "See not so bad." He said as they walked. It was an easy night and he was ready to get home.

Meilani sighed as she snuggled up to her pillow. She actually felt terrible for missing him so much. Meilani sat up, looking at her phone. She was disappointed to see he hadnt texted her. She looked at the time, then texted him. You want to get late night food at the diner? She sent it to him. She really just wanted to.see him.

Zoey yawned seeing her mother crashed out on the couch and smiled befre covering her up. She looked at the time and went to look in the fridge for some food before sighing seeing there was nothing in the fridge. She grabbed her purse getting some money from hermom's purse and headed outside. She walked down the street making sure she was underneath the street lights. She looked behind her ever so often.

Taven nodded and siad, "True." He laughed and drove to James house before dropping him off. He waved goodbye and then checked his phone while sitting in the car. I just got back, and sure. I haven't eaten yet. He smiled before sending again Meet me at the diner on 80? He started his car and headed over glad that he was getting paid soon to be able to pay for their food if she would let him.

James walked down the street and decided to stop at the local grocery store to get something to take home. He figured he could just get a frozen pizza or something like that. He stood in the store, looking for some things that he wanted. James walked out the end of the aisle, smacking into someone. He was surprised to see Zoey, "Hey, what are you doing out so late?" He asked.

Meilani smiled when he said to meet him at the diner. She got changed into a simple shirt and jeans before grabbing her stuff. Meilani went to the diner, walking in and sitting down at a booth. She looked over as Taven appeared, "Hey." she said, smiling at him. She was glad that he came.

Zoey hummed looking for something to make figured she could go to a fast food restaurant if all else failed. She sighed running a hand throughout her hair before popping her neck as she looked at the section. She couldn't find anything and turned around to walk out and bumped right into someone and blinked looking up at the person. "Hey yourself. I'm getting something to eat. Well, I was looking for something but couldn't find anything. I'm about to walk to Wendy's. Want to join?" She asked motioning towards the frozen pizza in his hands. She was wearing sweats and a white crop top t-shirt.

Taven smiled walking in when he saw her sitting down at a booth, He made his way over and sat down across from her. "Hey, how has your evening been?" He asked her telling the waitress he'd like a sweet tea before looking back at Meilani having his whole attention on her. He stretched his back as he did so feeling his body finally release all the tension it had been holding from earlier that night.

James thought for a moment, "Actually that sounds like a great idea." He said, putting the pizza  back. He walked out of the store and headed towards wendys with her. "I haven't eaten here in a long time." He said as they walked inside. James got in line with her, letting her tell the cashier what she wanted.

Meilani shrugged, "It was okay. I really didn't do much. What about you?" She asked. She took a sip of her drink, before looking over the menu. "Do you know what you want?" she asked.

Zoey laughed hearing him and said, "Way better than a frozen pizza." She teased him before smiling as she walked with him her keys dangling as she did so. She heard him and laughed, "I love Wendy's it's my favorite place to eat." She said and then added, "Well, except Mexican food." She laughed. She got into line before telling the lady she wanted a 10 count chicken nugget meal with a large dr. pepper and a vanilla frosty. She let James order before going to get her drink and ketchup and sitting down in a chair. "So, whatcha up to tonight?" She asked.

Taven nodded, "Just worked a bit. Easy night." He said evasively. He smiled at her and nodded, "Pretty much. Their burgers here are phenomenal." He grinned happily thinking of the burger. "I was honestly surprised when you asked if I wanted to eat with you." He told her gently a smile on his face.

[just so you know. I am going on vacation this week. I will be iin california as of wednesday so i may not be posting as much. :)]

James ordered himself a burger and fries, paying for their meals..He sat down with her, "Nothing much. I was just hanging out with Taven." he said, unwrapping his burger. He took a bite of it, swallowing before he spoke again. "What did you do?" He asked.

Meilani smiled when he said what he was getting. She ordered one of the veggie burgers, handing the waitress her menu. "Well, actually I kind of missed you." She admitted. Meilani was many things, but shy wasnt really one of them. She liked to get to know people and she liked Taven.

Zoey sighed when he paid but just gave him a smile before sitting down with him eating her chicken nuggets. She nodded and said, "Up to no goo, I suppose." She teased him before eating another chicken nugget. She heard him and hummed taking a sip of her drink before answering, "I was with my mom just watching movies. She crashed so I went to get food." She shrugged. "Pretty anticlimatic." She laughed.

Taven heard her order a veggie burger and tilted his head, "I hope this doesn't sound rude, but why are you a vegetarian?" He asked her smiling before laughing hearing her. "I'm glad to hear that. I missed you too." He told her giving her a small grin before taking another sip of his lemonade that he had ordered. "They have the best lemonade." He informed her with a grin.

James shook his head, "We don't do anything wrong. I don't know what you are talking about." He said before eating a french fry. "I think watching a movie sounds good. Honestly, if you wouldn't have taken me here that probably what I would be doing right now." He said.

Meilani shook her head, "Not rude at all. I am actually." She said. She nodded, "I have had it once before and I like it." She said. She was glad that he had missed her. She knew she shouldn't rush into anything, but Taven made her want to.

Taven nodded hearing her and smiled and blinked. "I couldn't imagine not eating meat, but I'm pretty sure i'm mostly carnivorous." He teased before smiling down at her eating his food when it came out sipping on his lemonade while he did so.

Meilani laughed softly, "I don't have the ability to eat animals. It just seems awful." She said, shaking her head. She ate her food as she sat with him. She didnt know why Taven made her want to spend time with him. He just had some kind if pull on her. She had to be sure to not let him get ahead of her though. She wanted to be in control of their relationship.

Zoey chuckled shaking her head and said, "I always eat here." She shrugged finishing up her food. She heard him and laughed, "Why's that, Jamesy?" She questioned letting her chin rest on her hand as she looked up at him.

Taven nodded, "I guess I understand that. Just so long as you understand that I like the way it tastes." He chuckled smiling down at her. He finished up his food before speaking with her as she finished her own. He felt his cheeks hurting from all the smiling he had been doing recently.
