Her right leg had turned inward, shielding her left leg as if it could protect her from the embarassment of the situation. Her heart was racing a mile a minute as she listened to Owen speak but she didn't dare lower her hand. Olivia knew he was moving around the room now and God forbid there was a wardrobe mishap, she didn't want the added emotions from seeing him actually naked. Her stomach twisted into a knot as she scurried toward the suitcases, grabbing hers before she spun and started for the open bedroom door. It wasn't until Owen spoke that she glanced toward hi, all but jumping out of her skin to cover her eyes when she caught sight of his rear end.
Olivia gulped, knowing full well her cheeks had to be fifty different shades of red at this very moment. She gave a slight shrug of her shoulders before straightening up a bit more. Olivia only lowered her hand for the third time when she was sure that Owen was at least partially dressed. "I... yeah, it'll probably be a bit chilly," Olivia agreed with a short nod of her head. With the temperatures that they were used to on their excavation, neither of them were used to the temperatures even if it was still well above freezing.
Allowing her eyes just a moment to scan over Owen's frame as he held his shirt in front of him, Olivia averted her gaze when their eyes met. "I mean... I think it would look... nice on you," Olivia forced the words to come out carefully, not wanting Owen to think she was trying to hit on him or anything. She didn't want him uncomfortable or anything. She took a deep breathe before she stepped out of the room fully. "I'll be ready in just a bit, I promise," Olivia called. While it wasn't as if they were dating or anything, Olivia didn't want to keep Owen waiting. It was their first night out after weeks of straight work, they had both earned a fun night out.
Olivia changed into a black knee length dress that had a lace overlay and a wide open back. It was nothing particularly fancy, just something that made her feel beautiful and she thought she could get away with it. That she wouldn't be outside for too long and who knew, maybe it might even catch someone's attention. Olivia knew the thought in the back of her mind was a horrible one, that there was no way Owen would want something from her. She was nothing particularly special, and with everything that was happening with her parents. Olivia took a deep breathe as she glanced down to her little ankle boots, smoothing out the material of her dress before she pulled on a brown faux leather jacket.
Biting down on her lip as she stepped back into the hallway, Olivia knocked on Owen's door, figuring he was still inside there. They could head to the pub together and who knew what was ahead of them. Olivia was ready to just let loose at this point.
