Her right leg had turned inward, shielding her left leg as if it could protect her from the embarassment of the situation. Her heart was racing a mile a minute as she listened to Owen speak but she didn't dare lower her hand. Olivia knew he was moving around the room now and God forbid there was a wardrobe mishap, she didn't want the added emotions from seeing him actually naked. Her stomach twisted into a knot as she scurried toward the suitcases, grabbing hers before she spun and started for the open bedroom door. It wasn't until Owen spoke that she glanced toward hi, all but jumping out of her skin to cover her eyes when she caught sight of his rear end.

Olivia gulped, knowing full well her cheeks had to be fifty different shades of red at this very moment. She gave a slight shrug of her shoulders before straightening up a bit more. Olivia only lowered her hand for the third time when she was sure that Owen was at least partially dressed. "I... yeah, it'll probably be a bit chilly," Olivia agreed with a short nod of her head. With the temperatures that they were used to on their excavation, neither of them were used to the temperatures even if it was still well above freezing.

Allowing her eyes just a moment to scan over Owen's frame as he held his shirt in front of him, Olivia averted her gaze when their eyes met. "I mean... I think it would look... nice on you," Olivia forced the words to come out carefully, not wanting Owen to think she was trying to hit on him or anything. She didn't want him uncomfortable or anything. She took a deep breathe before she stepped out of the room fully. "I'll be ready in just a bit, I promise," Olivia called. While it wasn't as if they were dating or anything, Olivia didn't want to keep Owen waiting. It was their first night out after weeks of straight work, they had both earned a fun night out.

Olivia changed into a black knee length dress that had a lace overlay and a wide open back. It was nothing particularly fancy, just something that made her feel beautiful and she thought she could get away with it. That she wouldn't be outside for too long and who knew, maybe it might even catch someone's attention. Olivia knew the thought in the back of her mind was a horrible one, that there was no way Owen would want something from her. She was nothing particularly special, and with everything that was happening with her parents. Olivia took a deep breathe as she glanced down to her little ankle boots, smoothing out the material of her dress before she pulled on a brown faux leather jacket.

Biting down on her lip as she stepped back into the hallway, Olivia knocked on Owen's door, figuring he was still inside there. They could head to the pub together and who knew what was ahead of them. Olivia was ready to just let loose at this point.

He kept an eye on Olivia though, just to make sure he didn’t miss a reaction. When it came he couldn’t help but crack a smile as she obviously noticed his lack of underwear for a moment. It took him everything that he had in him to resist the urge to laugh. He had the long-sleeved shirt in his hands, readying it to put on. He saw her lowering her hand and have another look at the shirt, he then slipped it on and looked at himself in the mirror.

''Thank you,'' he said and nodded when she announced that she would go get ready. ''Take your time.'' She then disappeared out of his room.

He quickly pulled up his jeans and buckled his belt before stepping into his boots. He patted down his pockets to make sure his valuables were safely in his pockets. He sprayed himself with a perfume and somewhat tried to make his hair look okay.

Owen opened his door and saw Olivia stand there in the hallway. He smiled, ''Usually, it's the guy who picks up the girl.'' He stepped into the hallway beside her and looked her shamelessly up and down, while closing and locking his door. ''You look great, although I do kind of dig the dirty baggy khaki pants.''

Without thinking he brushed a stray hair out of her face, gently letting his fingers run against her skin. They lingered for a bit before returning to the side of his body. He stepped back and offered her his arm and started to lead her back down to the front door. Weren't they kind of going on a date? He didn't mind the thought, but he felt like it would be best if he kept it to himself. Regardless of what it was, he wanted to have a fun night.

A car was already waiting for them to take them wherever they wanted to go, they would probably have to take a cab home, but he didn't mind that. It was part of going out.

Looking up to Owen as he spoke, Olivia let out a soft laugh as she gave a shake of her head. "I guess you'll just have to up your game next time, Grady," she commented, shrugging her shoulders. His compliment sent her heart racing a mile a minute and Olivia was sure she'd rather be just about anywhere but where she was in the moment. Her cheeks heated and she couldn't help the way that the corners of her mouth twitched upward.

Olivia tilted her head to the side, her eyes flickering down to Owen's lips as he brushed a hair out of her face. She swallowed back the lump that had formed in her throat, lifting her foot to take a step forward but before she could, Owen's hand dropped and she quickly told herself that she was just being silly. She cleared her throat, looking away from him despite taking Owen's arm.

Blinking in surprise when they stepped outside and there was already a vehicle waiting for them, Olivia bit back a grin as she glanced up to Owen. "You know, you could have let a girl know that you were going to get us chauffeured around. Didn't think you had that in you," she teased quietly, flashing a small smirk as she climbed into the vehicle.

The ride to the bar was a short one and Olivia jumped out, a bit too eagerly. She stepped around, grinning as she joined Owen on the sidewalk. "I can't wait to get to see you in a less professional setting," she said, unable to stop her laugh as she bumped him with her hip as she walked around him.

Once they were seated at a small table, Olivia was quick to order herself a Guiness and a side of chips. If she wanted anything else, she'd order more later. She looked up when the waitress walked away, a blush covering her cheeks when she noticed the way that Owen was looking at her. "What? Didn't think little ol' me could handle a Guinness, huh?"

Owen laughed as she joked around with him in the car, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere between them right now. It really felt like they had known each other for a lifetime.

He did a dramatic stumble when she bumped him with her hip, ''Rude.'' He huffed but smiled at her as she laughed. He wasn't far behind Olivia as they entered the bar. He couldn't help but look at her behind swaying from side to side as they went over to the table they had been given. He slid into the booth and ordered a Guinness as well, after raising an eyebrow at her.

''Oh I'm sure you can handle it, at least one.'' He smirked and looked around the place. It wasn't too crowded, but enough that the place felt alive. His eyes found their way back to Olivia, the lights were dimmed, but he could still see the slight redness covering her cheeks. ''I'm just saying, I am not carrying you home.''

It wasn't long before the waitress came back with their beverages and Olivia's snacks. He thanked her and pulled the glass closer to him. He lifted the glass and gently tapped hers, ''Cheers,'' he then took a sip and licked his lips. ''Good god, this is amazing, I'm so happy we agreed on going out.''

Owen was without a doubt going to enjoy himself, cause god knows what Nublar will have in store for them.

Olivia scoffed, her jaw dropped as she pretended to be offended by Owen's comment. "Excuse me! I bet I can drink more than you think, sir!" She said, jabbing a finger in his direction. She flashed him a little smirk, thanking the waitress when she appeared with their drinks and her snack.

Holding up her glass, Olivia dipped her chin in a silent 'cheers' before she took several, long gulps of the beer. She'd never been a fan of mild beers, she was more into the darker beers that gave her a pleasant sensation rather than feeling like she was literally drinking cold piss. Setting down her half empty glass, Olivia grinned as she plucked a chip from the basket before nudging it in Owen's direction. While they were technically hers, Olivia didn't mind sharing with Owen.
Olivia was on her third Guinness and she was feeling a bit looser than she usually was around Owen. Out in the field, Olivia was more focused on her work than having fun. It wasn't meant to be a party out there, they were there to do a job and Olivia understood that, so it had been a fair little while since she had gotten well and truly drunk.

Her heart was hammering away inside her chest but with the liquid courage in her, Olivia didn't let her nerves stop her as she pushed to her feet. She swayed slightly, steadying herself on the table as she moved around it before sliding into the booth beside Owen. Olivia turned toward him, a shy smile on her lips as her eyes met his. Her gaze flicked down to his lips for a moment before moving back up his face where they met his eyes and lingered there. "Hi," Olivia faux-whispered as her back straightened a bit. "Am I... Can I.." Olivia trailed off, suddenly realizing she had no real plan in how she was supposed to kiss Owen. She wanted to though and she hoped Owen would pick up on that, that maybe he would feel the same way as her.

Owen felt the familiar feeling of being slightly buzzed after a few drinks. He had been silently flirting with their waitress who had been sending him looks since they came. He didn't really pay a lot of attention to her, plus he would feel bad if he did start to flirt with her in an obvious manner, especially in front of Olivia.

He could feel Olivia opening up to him the more she drank. She had offered him multiple chips with a playful look on her face, which she fed him with a laugh. They had a pleasant conversation going when she got up and moved over beside him. He chuckled as she sunk into the seat and faced him, ''Hello.''

As they sat there, he could see how her ears and cheeks were turning crimson most likely because of the alcohol. ''How are you feeling?'' he asked softly, leaning his head to the side. He wondered if they should make their way home already, but it was still early, and he didn't want to keep Olivia away from having fun. The place had become a little bit calmer now that it was too late to order food. He also noticed that the pool table was free. Plus if they waited, then they would probably both be a bit too drunk to play.

''We still have to play that round of pool,'' he nodded towards the table and looked back at Olivia who was still looking him in the eye, ''Or are you gonna pussy out?'' He smirked and winked at her.

"Good," Olivia answered immediately, her voice a bit softer as her eyes focused on Owen's own gaze. She was quiet for a long moment, thoughts running through her mind that she was sure shouldn't have been there in the first place. She shouldn't be considering kissing Owen in the moment because she knew it was wrong. Owen was technically her boss and sleeping with her boss, well, it wasn't exactly Olivia's thing. In part because of the stigma that was attached to it and in part because of her relationship with Owen. It was a strained one at best, what with her family being involved with trying to sell the dinosaurs still living on Isla Nublar.

Shaking her head to clear her thoughts when Owen mentioned the game of pool, Olivia nodded. She gave a stiff sort of smile as she turned, sliding out of the booth. Lingering by the table while Owen stood, she followed after him with a small grin. "I might not beat you, hell, I'm pretty sure I won't but if there's one thing I'm not, it's a pussy," she answered him with a huff.

Olivia grabbed the pool stick, reaching for the chalk. She looked up to Owen, her eyes narrowing a bit. "So, what do I get if I win? Huh?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. "Maybe... Maybe I should get something out of you. Isn't that how games usually work?" She asked, keeping her voice light as she spoke to him. Olivia knew where she was headed with her little dare and she hoped that she was reading Owen right because God, she would feel like an idiot if it turned out she was wrong about him being into her.

Owen picked up the rack and placed it on the table before filling it up with the balls, making sure the eightball was in the middle. He couldn't exactly contain his chuckle when Olivia huffed at him, ''I got ya.'' He made sure the rack was in the right spot and lifted it away from around the balls. Owen then grabbed his own pool cue and chalked it. He listened to Olivia's proposition about the dare. He thought about it for a moment he took a deep breath.

''Okay, but if I win,'' he motioned towards himself, ''then you have to sleep in my bed tonight.'' He kept their eyes locked, and tried really hard to keep a straight face. He did for a couple of seconds, but shook his head with a smile, ''Nah, I'm joking. Yeah, sure, anything.''

She had a bit of a mischievous look in her eyes, it didn't make him uncomfortable but it made him want to know what she had in mind. He almost asked her but decided against it. On the inside he was quivering like an overexcited dog ready to play. ''Do you want me to start it?'' He asked with a raised eyebrow and let his cue fall from hand to hand.

Olivia's eyes widened a bit as Owen offered his part of the deal. She had thought he was serious for a moment and while she hadn't really meant for it to go that far, the alcohol in her system made her inhibitions fall away. Would it really hurt if they messed around? After all, they would be two consenting adults and Owen wasn't so much her boss anymore, what with where they were heading. She was part of the team that would be on Isla Nublar so that made it a little more okay, right?

Clearing her throat when Owen pointed out that he was simply kidding, that he didn't mean it. Was she reading too much into things? Olivia had her doubts but before she could really worry too much about them, she opened her mouth to blurt out what she had been thinking in the first place. "I mean, I was just thinking a kiss but if that's what you want..." Olivia trailed off, giving a one-sided shrug. "You have to win."

Olivia smirked to herself, turning her attention away from Owen so that she wouldn't see his reaction. She was feeling daring enough to make the offer but she was still too damn shy to actually wait for his reaction. What if she was wrong and Owen really wasn't seeing her that way?

She took a deep breathe, leaning over the table to take the first shot of the game. Olivia muttered under her breathe when she didn't get a single ball in any of hte pockets.

Owen would watch her reactions for hours and hours if he could, they were incredibly entertaining, not to mention charming. By now she had definitely confirmed that she had some interest in him, but he didn't know to what extend yet.

''A kiss?'' he raised an eyebrow. ''If I at any point meant what I said, then it would be just sleeping, who do you think I am?'' He said in an over exaggerated offended tone. He smiled giving himself a mental pat on the back for that she actually did want to kiss him. He should have just kissed her in the plane, but at that point he didn't want to cross any boundaries. Things had changed so drastically.

If things were different, he probably would have dated her, no doubt. But her whole family feud concerned him, plus not to mention he wasn't exactly boyfriend material. Mostly due to the fact he traveled so much, and the trips he went on wasn't for the average girl. Olivia was the opposite of an average girl, the way she carried herself, the way she spoke to others and the genuine interest in other things then handbags and how her hair looked.

A deep sigh left him which startled him, pulling him back to reality. He quickly composed himself and watched as Olivia failed miserably at getting any of the balls in the pockets.

''Wow. Good shot,'' he teased and moved around the table to get a good aim. The stripes were positioned horribly, but he decided to be a gentleman and went for them. Luckily he got two in without any issues, he did have to position himself very awkwardly though. The third didn't go in.

''Here you go,'' he said and stepped away.

Olivia felt her stomach sink when Owen declared that he had really meant simply sleeping. She might have been able to read through his lie if she hadn't been drinking but the reality was that she had been. Swallowing back the emotion that swelled in her throat, Olivia forced out a fake sounding laugh as she gave a nod of her head. Of course, she'd just been silly and it certainly wasn't fair to blame Owen for that. She had simply been reading too much into things, whether she wanted to accept that or not.

She cleared her throat, trying to focus on taking the first shot of the game. When she failed at taking it, Olivia stepped back to let Owen take his turn. She ground her teeth together, trying to remain as calm as possible. She didn't want to come across as crazy to Owen, didn't want to seem like a jealous girl who was simply vying for his attention for no real reason.

Taking a deep breathe, Olivia stepped forward to take a shot when Owen finished with his round. She narrowed her eyes, trying to focus on what she was doing. Grinning to herself when she sank a solid ball into one of the pockets, Olivia shot Owen a little smirk before maneuvering to make another shot. She let out a whine when she wasn't successful, straightening up with a huff.

"This game is rigged," Olivia mumbled to herself, though she was loud enough that she was sure Owen would hear her. It wasn't like Olivia was the best at pool and she had gone into it knowing that, but she would still tease Owen about it.

Owen couldn't help but laugh at her attempts. He covered his mouth with his hand before turning away from her. Her smirk and following fail didn't help him at all. He positioned himself and the cue on the table. He pulled it back and took a deep breath. He completely messed it up as he heard Olivia's words beside him.

''Look what you made me do!'' he whined and gave her a very unhappy look. He didn't really have in mind to win the game, so honestly it wasn't her fault that he had messed up his shot. He could have aced it, but he kind of did want Olivia to win, just to see if she would actually go through with the kiss. He moved aside and watched Olivia eye the positioning of the balls.

He studied her movements and figured out which balls she was going for. His head fell to the side, confused at how she was planning on getting it in the pocket. ''You know, that is not going to work,'' he puckered up his lips and tutted. ''Here let me show you.''

Carefully he put the cue up against the wall and went around the table to stand behind Olivia. His head was beside hers as he was flush up against her back. He then proceeded to position her cue so that the cue ball would most definitely get a couple of her balls in the pockets. ''There, hit it like that.'' He stayed there for a bit, knowing that if he moved a little then his lips would be very close to her ear. He licked his lips and moved in closer, ''Did I mention you look stunning tonight?''

Olivia's breathe caught in the back of her throat as Owen stepped up behind her. She swallowed, trying to remind herself to stay calm as she let Owen manipulate the way that she was standing and holding her cue. She felt her cheeks blushing and not for the first time, Olivia was glad Owen couldn't see her reaction because she was sure that it would be shockingly embarrassing. Sha king her head to clear her thoughts, Olivia focused a bit more when she took her first shot with Owen's help.

She'd been happy when she -got two balls in their pockets, only for Owen's comment to cause her heart to skip a beat. Olivia opened and closed her mouth several times over, trying like hell to figure out what she was supposed to say but she realized she was feeling just like a schoolgirl with a crush on someone way out of her league.

"No," Olivia answered breathlessly, standing slowly. She swallowed as she turned around slowly, forgetting all about the game that they had been playing. She looked up to him, blinking slowly as she tilted her head to the side. "But," she paused, running her tongue over her bottom teeth. "I should probably tell you how handsome you look, hm?" She whispered, reaching up to wrap her fingers in the material of Owen's shirt.

Her eyes flickered down to Owen's lips, hesitating for a moment as she seemed to gather her courage. Olivia was normally brazen and ready to conquer the world and right now, right at this moment, she wasn't so much. She swallowed before leaning forward, pressing her lips to Owen's in a hesitant kiss. She was almost sure he would return the kiss but still, she was unsure and she didn't want to end up trying to kiss someone who wasn't feeling it at all.

Everything went quiet when she turned around towards him. He wasn't sure if he was just imagining things or if he had actually gone deaf out of the blue. It wasn't till Olivia complimented him that he was sure he wasn't deaf. He smiled as her hands curled into his shirt, gently pulling him closer. ''Thank you,'' he replied with a slightly gritty voice.

Owen's eyes flickered across her face, trying to read her next move. He felt like a bucket of ice cold water was emptied over him as she kissed him. It was refreshing and by default he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in closer. He softly returned the kiss but pulled back with a smirk.

''I should remind you, we're still out, and I'm pretty sure we're getting, well, you're getting a few stares.'' He cleared his throat and stepped away from her. Owen grabbed Olivias hand and pulled her with him over to their booth. He let her sit down first before sitting down beside her. He felt like he had just done something he wasn't allowed to do, the rush of her kiss had made his whole body feel like dough.

''If the wager is a kiss, then I think we should play pool more often,'' he ordered them another beer as the waitress came over. He turned towards Olivia, ''Do you really think I'm handsome?''

Olivia shrugged her shoulders when Owen mentioned the stares they were getting. She was sure that he was right but she honestly didn't care at the moment. She felt like she was on top of the world, she didn't really give a shit who was staring at them. Hell, it could have been the Queen herself and she wouldn't have cared. Had no reason to because truthfully, she probably wouldn't see any of the people in the bar ever again after tonight. Their opinion of her didn't really matter. "So?" She answered airily, raising an eyebrow as she followed after him.

Sitting down, Olivia turned to face Owen as he slid into the book beside her. She smiled, wrapping her arms around his arm. Maybe this was a bit much and she shouldn't be so forward but Olivia felt comfortable with Owen and her inhibitions had disappeared.

"Mm... what? Like every weekend?" She asked, her nose scrunching as she raised an eyebrow. "Or like... every other day? Every day?" Olivia asked, tilting her head to the side. She was hinting at more of a relationship than maybe she even realized. Olivia blushed at his question, nodding her head slowly. "Always did think you were handsome. But you were the boss around camp and I didn't need people thinking I was only getting anywhere because I was sleeping with you. That and besides, I didn't think you'd think I was cute," she answered softly. It was the truth. Olivia knew she was attractive but she was headstrong and demanding, that turned a lot of guys off. She wasn't willing to change herself like that though.

Olivia cleared her throat, looking away from him. "Lockwood and BioSyn, they were going to auction off the dinosaurs as pets. My parents were writing up the contracts so that BioSyn couldn't be sued when the dinosaurs ended up doing with they do best. Y'know... fight and kill things because in the end, they're prehistoric animals that are just that - animals," Olivia spoke quietly, so quietly that she even wondered if Owen would hear her. She didn't want others hearing her. "They were each making several million dollars on the contracts, it's fuckin' stupid," Olivia grumbled as she looked up to Owen. To sacrifice the safety and happiness of the dinosaurs for money they don't even need! I mean, fuck. They have enough money that my great, great grandchildren wouldn't need to work a day in their life!" Olivia was getting a bit heated as she spoke, her back straightening as she scowled. "I just... I don't get it, Owen," Olivia whispered.

Thanking the waitress when she appeared with their beers, Olivia lifted her beer to her lips and drank damn near half of it in several gulps.

Owen enjoyed the feeling of her arms wrapped around his, as if she could break, he gently kissed the side of her head. He didn't answer her question, since he had a feeling it could lead him into trouble. He wanted to make sure that they weren't rushing, which was kind of what they were doing with Nublar. It was necessary though, to save all the remaining animals.

''Thanks,'' he said as he smiled, ''I think everyone at camp thought you were cute. Trust me, things were said.'' He widened his eyes and huffed. ''Nothing bad though,'' he assured Olivia as he looked over at her. The two locked eyes for a couple of minutes till Olivia cleared her throat and looked away from him. He felt his gut drop to his feet.

As Olivia spoke, Owen became more and more tense. He moved his arm away from her grasp and folded his hands on the table. He kept quiet since he didn't want to blow up, plus he was trying to understand all of the things she was saying. His jaw clenched as he grabbed the glass and took a few big gulps of its contents. He placed it down on the table more aggressively and almost spilled everywhere.

''How come I'm the one who has to deal with your family. How come I have to deal with all this shit? I got away from that mess, I did something I actually enjoyed doing,'' he hissed. ''I didn't even want to do this in the first place. Fuck.''

He downed his beer and rested his head in his hands.

Olivia felt her heart flutter as Owen kissed the side of her head. It was such a simple gesture but it said volumes, at least it did to her. She smiled to herself, chewing on the inside of her lip as she launched into her explanation about what was going on with her parents. SHe had been so sure that Owen would be understanding because he had given her no reason to think he wouldn't be but then he was pulling away from her as soon as the words finished coming out of her mouth and his own words, they cut right through her.

She sat there, her stomach lurching as she tried to control herself. "Do you honestly think that I'm happy with my parents being involved in this, Owen? Fuck," she hissed, turning away from him. Olivia let out a dry laugh as she shook her head, reaching up to run a hand through her hair.

"You know what, if you don't want to go to Nublar, don't. You don't have to, you're in no way obligated to it. But I'm going. Because those dinosaurs deserve a fuckin' chance, they're just trying to live and thrive and I'll be damned if my parents are involved in taking that chance away from them," Olivia snapped. She reached up, shoving at Owen's shoulders until he moved out of her way. She slid out of the booth, turning to fix Owen with a hard glare. "I'll leave Lockwood's in the morning, I'll speak to him about how to get to the Island on my own..."

Olivia gave a hard nod of her head, turning and stalking toward the bar. She needed a drink and she needed to just plain not think about Owen or the island and the situation involving the dinosaurs. Her shoulders sagged as she picked a stool, ordering yet another Guinness for herself. A man two bar stools over laughed and commented on her order, raising his own glass before they dipped into conversation. With how vulnerable Olivia was feeling at the moment, it was no surprise when the man moved closer to her and she leaned against him, exchanging stories and laughs and eventually following that up with lazy, hungry kisses.

Owen huffed, ''No, I don't think so, Olivia. But it's a lot, maybe even too much.'' He didn't mean to raise his voice at her, but he was so angry and upset about the whole situation. It didn't make him feel better when she told him he wasn't obligated to go to Nublar. He stood up and put a hand on the table and leaned in towards her, ''I have a responsibility, Blue, if she's even still alive. Same with Rexy and all the other dinosaurs. So yes, I do have to.''

He threw a few bills on the table, ''You're not getting on that island by yourself, don't even think about it. You're either going along with everyone else, or not going at all.'' He knew he was talking to her as if she was a child, but he was fuming and she was acting like a brat. ''I'm leaving.''

The feeling of people staring at him gave him goosebumps, he knew that they had caused a scene but it didn't bother him. Olivia was already at the bar when he exited the pub. He noticed a guy standing there with a cigarette hanging from his lips. He sighed and tapped the ground with his foot. He cleared his throat and walked up to him, ''You got another one?'' The man looked over at Owen and took the cigarette from his mouth, ''Sure.'' Owen thanked him and took the cigarette and the lighter that the man offered him. He quickly lit it and gave it back.

Immediatly he was reminded of the familiar calm cigarettes gave. His shoulders fell and his breathing became slower. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed how the guy looked him up and down. Owen looked over at him, ''What? Is something wrong?''

The guy chuckled and shook his head, ''Nah, mate. I just think you look fit. For a moment I thought you were coming onto me, but you scream straight.''

Owen smiled, ''Thanks, I think?'' He flicked off the ashes and sighed.

    ''You good?''

Owen smiled and shook his head, ''Not really. Just had a fight over some parents, and I'm not even seeing the girl romantically. It's a longer story.''

''How can not seeing someone romantically be a longer story?''

Owen started shaking his head, ''No, I mean the parents.'' The guy whistled which made Owen snort, ''Yep, exactly.''

''So why are you out here?'' He asked Owen.

Owen didn't know what to answer so he just shrugged, ''Going home I think. I think she's pretty pissed at me anyways, so I'm just gonna let her cool off.'' He looked over at the guy who was intensely staring at him now.

''Oh man up,'' he said, ''go in and apologize even if you have nothing to apologize for. Don't stand out here with me, nothing good comes out of that.'' He chuckled and stepped on his cigarette butt and walked up to Owen. ''Get it together mate.'' He tapped him lightly on the cheek and went inside, leaving Owen to himself.

Without a chance to back out he quickly went inside again to look for Olivia. The regret washed over him as he saw Olivia almost in the lap of another guy. Owen took a step backwards out the door without taking his eyes off of Olivia.

    {I tried to reply to this yesterday but fuck, i fell asleep at like... 6pm and stayed asleep. i'm sorry Facepalm }

Olivia hadn't really meant to kiss the man that continued to pay her compliments, that bought her a few drinks at the bar but she did because he was kind of cute and at the moment, she needed to forget a certain former Sailor. She knew that she couldn't simply go back to Lockwood's manor because their rooms were opposite each others' and she was sure she'd be able to hear his stupid snoring. She'd thought it was cute before because it wasn't too much, it was simply... endearing. She had found more things about Owen likeable than she probably should have, things that were actually stupid for her to get attached to.

She hadn't even noticed Owen step back into the bar, her head resting against the other man's shoulder as he whispered sweet nothings into her ear. She knew that he was expecting her to either go back to his place or him to her place but that simply wasn't going to happen. Olivia had never really been a promiscuous girl and that wasn't going to change any time soon.

After another hour or so, Olivia patted the guy's thigh before pushing to her feet and sort of shuffling, sort of stumbling toward the front door. She called a cab once she was outside, waiting as patiently as she knew how to for it to arrive.
The next morning rolled around and Olivia, she tried to stay asleep for as long as she possibly could but the stupid ass sun was shining through the curtains and she couldn't hide from it for forever. Groaning as she pushed the blankets off of her body, Olivia trudged over to her bag. She dug through it to find some aspirin before starting the trek that felt like a literal mile down to the kitchen.

Her eyes were half closed as she stepped into the room so she didn't notice the other redhead sitting at the dining room table. Scratching her arm, Olivia reached the coffee machine and was quick to pour herself a mug. She splashed the tiniest bit of cream in it, until it just started to change color before she tossed back the pills and followed them with a long swig of her coffee. The liquid burned her tongue and her throat on the way down but still, her lips popped audibly as she sighed. The burn was nothing compared to the pounding headache she had.

Olivia started to turn around, only to jump when she finally spotted Claire. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she clutched the mug of coffee to her chest, wincing as a few splashes managed to hit her hands.

"Uh, hey," Olivia greeted a bit awkwardly, tilting her head slightly. "I'm Olivia," she introduced herself, having no clue who she was facing at the moment.
