Land of The Dead

Ada nodded and said, "Hopefully just away from this town." She murmured before looking back at him her hand beginning to tingle from contact with him. She sighed and said, "I walked away after he said you should try hunting and killing. I didn't want to listen after that." She admitted and wondered if he was going to take her home.

Augustus sighed softly, "Yeah hopefully," he said softly. He walked with her towards the front door. "I'm sure you had to see all that, and hear that," he said.

Ada sighed softly and murmured, "It's not the first and won't be the last." She murmured before walking out of the door. She paused hesitating before asking, "Will you walk me home?" She bit down on her lip.

Augustus smiled gently, "Still I'm sorry," he commented. He put his arm around her waist holding her close, 'sure I'd love to walk you home," he said

Ada gave him a nod before walking with him gasping softly when his arm snaked around her waist pulling her closer. The electric feeling got stronger as she watched him and nodded. "Thank you." She murmured tiredness lying behind her gaze.

Augustus nodded gently, he held her close, and led her towards her home. He smiled at her, "do you need some help upstairs?" he asked softly.

Ada started to relax slowly, getting used to the tingles she felt with his hands on her body. She looked up at him before looking at the stairs and biting on her lip. "I'm not sure." She admitted to him.

Augustus smiled gently at her, "well, I'll help you to bed then," he said softly. He walked with her into her home. He paused for a second, he was finding it increasingly hard to be patient. He was beginning to feel a need to be near her.

Augustus was sure, she was his soul mate. He was curious whether all the comments and claims about how they can change each other were true.

Ada gave him a nod grateful that he was helping her, though, she hoped it continued slowly. She blinked feeling him pause before urging him to continue. She found her way into bed and crawled underneath the blankets.

She had her back turned to him before saying softly, "I'm sorry if I got in the way today.."

Augustus helped her into the bed, then stepped back. His eyes watching her, "It's fine, hopefully things will calm down around me eventually," he said softly. He sat on the side of her bed, and leant in, "please sleep tight," he said softly.

Ada finally turned her body to face him, brown locks splayed out around her. She nodded softly and murmured, "I didn't mean to run into you. I thought I could make it in here." She told him. She watched him lean in her face immediately heating up as she blushed and replied, "I can't promise anything."

Augustus nodded gently, "Please try," he said softly, as he gently kissed her lips as he stared into her eyes. He waited a moment to see if she wanted him to pull back or not.

Ada watched him gasping a little when she felt his lips connect with hers, the tingling turning into electricity practically. She pulled away a few moments after collecting herself and watched him for a moment and whispered, "Goodnight, Augustus."

Augustus smiled weakly, "night, beautiful," he whispered softly. He pulled away slowly, his hand lingering on hers. He stepped back, watching her. It was becoming harder for him to keep his distance from her. He moved towards the door.

Ada watched as he pulled away. She let go of his hand before falling back onto her pillow. She shut her eyes lightly feeling exhausted from having been sick and then helping out around the shop. She was fast asleep by the time he had reached the door. Her breathing causing her chest to move up and down in a slow relaxing rhythm. She laid on her back, one hand near her face when she had left it from touching Augustus.

Augustus looked back at sleeping. He smiled to himself, before heading back to his own place. His mind foggy, and filled with thoughts of her. He slumped onto his own bed, slipping into a quiet meditation. He was hoping she'd come around soon.

Ada slept through the night. She woke in the morning and sighed softly before heading to take a bath since she hadn't the night before. She dressed in a plain red dress and then put her hair up knowing her mother hated when it was down. She went downstairs seeing her parents already awake and ate in silence listening to them speak.

Ada's father smiled seeing her come downstairs. He continued his conversation with her mother for awhile, before turning to her. "So how are things going with Mr Redfang? He treating you alright?" he asked softly.

Ada bit down on her lip hearing her father and then sighed and said, "Yes, but, he wants me to move into his home to be able to see him more. I'd still help out at the shop, but i've said yes. I figured that's the fastest way to give him enough information to see that I don't fancy him." She saw the look on her mother's face nad wanted to comfort her, but knew there was nothing that she could say. "I will still be going to the (church) services tomorrow and whenever." She promised.

Her father smiled softly, "I'm glad he's being good to you, what if you do end up fancying him?" he asked softly. He reached over taking her hand, "We will always love you, I just hope you don't let him turn you," he said.
