It's a sunny afternoon and Lexia smiled as she heard the laughter of her three year old son as he was playing on the playground. She loved watching her son, who was her whole entire world, happy and go lucky. Lexia soon heard someone sit next to her. She turned over to see Zacky was sitting next to her and smiled. "Hey Zacky." She greeted her long time friend, giving him a hug.

Brian had arrived to the bar to meet up with Matt and Johnny for a night out away from their busy work life. He stopped to order a beer. He looked around and smirked when he saw a gorgeous brunette woman sitting at one of the tables with her friends. He faced the bartender, "Put the brunette's drinks on my tab" he said and grabbed his beer before going to his friends

Lyla was out with her friends, it had been a few months since she had been out. Her mom had Kira and was keeping her over night so, in her words, Lyla could have some fun. Lyla went to pay for her drinks, only for the bartender to tell her it had been covered. She walked over to the man that the bartender pointed out to her. Tapping his shoulder, Lyla waited for him to turn and face her. She smiled when looked at her, “Hi, I just wanted to thank you for paying for my drinks. I’m Lyla by the way...”

Zacky walked to the park, as he got closer he could hear Leon’s laughter. He smiled when he saw Lexia sitting and watching her son as he played. He sat next to her, “Hey Lexia.” He hugged her back, “How’s Leon?” Zacky asked, glancing over at the three year old as he played.

Lexia smiled, "Oh Leon is good, happy as always. He'll be even happier when he sees you of course". We know how much he loves his Uncle Zacky." she said. "How are you? I haven't seen you in a bit." She said looking at him, briefly taking glances towards the play ground to keep an eye on Leon.

Brian looked up at the woman that approached him. It was the the beautiful brunette, who looked even more beautiful up close, that he saw earlier. "It's no problem at all. Just wanted to pay for a gorgeous girl's drinks." He said and then shook her hand, "I'm Brian. Do you and your friends care to join me and my buddies?" He asked Lyla.

Lyla smiled, knowing her friends would love to join them, “That’s very sweet of you.” She laughed, glancing over at her friends who were watching closely, “They’d love to have a few drinks with your friends.” Lyla waved her friends over. Once they came over, Lyla smiled and they all sat down.

“I’m good, just been busy lately, ya know?” Zacky smiled when he watched Leon play. “I’m always happy to see little man,” he laughed. He had always loved spending time with Leon.

Leon looked over towards Zacky and Lexia and smiled widely. "Uncle Zee!" The toddler screamed in happiness as his little body ran to over to his godfather to hug him. "I missed you Uncle Zee." Leon said. Lexia heart melted seeing her best friend embrace her son. She couldn't have picked a more suitable man to fill in the role of being her son's godfather than Zacky. He had been there for Lexia since the day she found out she was pregnant with Leon and he stepped up even more since the day Leon was born. Sometimes she wishes that Zacky was Leon's biological son.

Brian smiled and moved over so that Lyla and her friends could sit and so that he could sit down next to Lyla. He then told the bartender to refill the girls drinks, then he looked back at Lyla, draping his arm behind the chair she was sitting in. "Are you new to the area? I havent seen you around." He asked, taking a sip of his beer. Brian was eyeing the girl up and down, she was fucking gorgeous and he wanted to do everything to make a good first impression on her.

Lyla smiled, “I actually grew up here, I just moved back to be closer to my mom now.” She sipped on her drink, “But I’ve lived around her for about six months now.” She noticed him eyeing her and couldn’t help blushing lightly.

Zacky’s smile widened when Leon ran over to him. He picked him up in a hug, “I missed you too bud.” Zacky held Leon for a minute, “I think you get bigger every time I see you.” He laughed, placing Leon back on the ground, “Are you having fun with your mom?”

Leon nodded "I am." He said then took off to go play in the playground. Lexia smiled and rest her head against Zacky's shoulder. "He loves you so much." She said and lightly kissed his cheek. "Do you have any plans for the night?" Lexia asked her friend. "Leon and I are having our dinner and movie night date tonight, and we would love for you to join us."

"Oh really? I'm surprised I haven't seen you before." Brian said and then smirked "Well I'm glad that you made the decision to move back here, so I can definitely get to know you better." He winked, before asking the bar tender for a Jack and Coke. "So I gotta ask. Are you seeing anyone?"

“I don’t have much free time, this is the first time I’ve been out since I moved out here,” Lyla laughed softly. When he asked if she was seeing anyone, she shook her head, “I’m not actually.”

Zacky nodded when she mentioned their date night, “Are you sure? I don’t want to intrude on your family time.” Of course he’d love to spend more time with them, he just didn’t want to overstep any boundaries.

Alexia smiled, "Zacky you are family. We would love to have you over, especially Leon. He has been dying to show you his big boy room." She said and reached for one of his hands, lacing their fingers together. "Please?" She asked her friend.

Brian nodded, smiling when Lyla told him that she was single. "Well maybe we can go out sometime amd get to know each other." He said, placing one of his hands on top of hers that were resting on her lap.

Lyla smiled, feeling his hand on hers, “That’d be nice.” She wrote her number down for him on a scrap of paper, handing it to him. Lyla was nervous to try dating again, but Brian seemed like a decent guy.

Zacky smiled, “Alright, that sounds good. I’d love to see his new room.” He was happy that Lexia and Leon wanted him around because he was more than happy to be around them.

Lexia smiled widely. She loved it when Zacky would spend time with her and Leon. She felt like they were a little family of their own when the three of them spent time together. "You know, you have been so good to Leon and I, and I just want to let you know that I appreciate everything that you do for us, especially for Leon." She admitted to him.

Brian took the piece of paper and put it in his pocket. After talking to Lyla a bit more and a few more drinks later, Brian was ready to go home. "Did you drive? I can take you home" He offered. He had stopoed drinking a few hours ago so he could sober up enough to drive home.

“I rode here with my friends, I’d love a ride home though,” Lyla told him. She figured it wouldn’t hurt since Kira wasn’t home. Lyla walked out to his car with him.

“It’s no problem, I love you two,” Zacky told her. He’d grown attached to Leon ever since he was born. Sometimes he would find himself wishing that Leon was his own son.

"And we love you too, more than anything." Lexia said and then smiled softly when she saw that Leon was walking towards the two adults, rubbing his eyes. "Looks like it's nap time" Lexia sang to Leon as he climbed up in Zacky's lap, snuggling into him.

Brian waved to the guys and to Lyla's friends before walking out to his black truck. He opened the passenger door for Lyla and helped her into the truck, before getting into the the driver's side. "What's your address darling?"

Lyla got in the truck and told him her address. She smiled, watching as he drove, “How is it that you’re single? You seem like a great guy.” Just from the little talk they had at the bar she thought he seemed decent.

Zacky smiled, watching as Leon walked over to them. He pulled Leon close when he crawled into his lap. “I think you’re right,” Zacky said, laughing softly as the little boy started to fall asleep.

Lexia smiled and thought the site of a sleeping Leon snuggling to Zacky who was holding him and looking down at Leon was adorable. She took out her cell phone and quickly snapped a photo of them. "I should get him home soon, you are more than welcome to come over hang out since you'll be coming over anyway." She offered Zacky.

Brian chuckled and shrugged his shoulders lightly. "Eh I try. Nowadays most girls just want flings with bad guys." He said with a shrug. "That and I hadn't found anyone I'm intrested in, well until now." He smirked, looking at Lyla and gave her a wink.

“That’s too bad for them, but good for me,” Lyla smiled. Hearing him say he was interested in her, she blushed lightly, “Well I must be lucky then.” She laughed softly.

Zacky nodded as he looked down at Leon, “Yeah, you probably should.” He didn’t want to put Leon down, but he knew Lexia had to take him home. “I’ll just follow you to your place then.” Zacky smiled over at her.

Lexia smiled and nodded, watching Zacky buckle Leon into his car seat. "Thank you." She said and kissed his cheek. "I'll see you at the apartment." She smiled before getting inside the car.

Brian chuckled, "I must be lucky. I'm sure you can have any man you'd want and yet, here we are." He smiled and placed his hand on top of her.

Lyla shrugged slightly, “I guess so.” She smiled over at him, sighing. Lyla had hated the idea of moving back to California, but maybe there would be some good to come out of it.

Zacky smiled, closing the door after he buckled Leon in. “I’ll be there,” he said, turning and walking to his car. He followed Lexia back to her apartment and got out, going over and getting Leon out of his seat, “I got him.”
