Lexia and Zacky continued to kiss, until they heard little footsteps run towards them. Lexia saw Leon run into the living room with his favorite buzz light-year toy that Zacky had given him a year ago, in his hand. The new couple pulled away from the kiss and Lexia went to pick up her son and held him in her lap. "Hey kiddo, did you sleep well?" She asked, kissing his forhead as he cuddled into her.

Brian was a little surprised when Lyla said that the little girl on the swing was her daughter. But then it made sense to why she had a busy schedule from when they talked. He had never thought about seeing a woman who was a single mother, but Brian was really interested in Lyla and wanted to eventually be with her. So, Brian smiled and crouched down to Kira's height and stuck out his hand to the little girl. "Hi Kira, I'm Brian. I'm your mommy's friend." He said.

Kira looked Brian over for a minute before shaking his hand, “Hi.” She said softly, a litttle smile crossing her lips. Kira got off the swing and took off to climb the jungle gym, leaving the two adults alone.

Lyla couldn’t help smiling as she watched Brian interact with Kira. She was happy he didn’t just turn and run. Seeing Kira smile at him, Lyla felt like her heart would melt. Once Kira went to the jungle gym, Lyla looked at Brian, “I’m sorry, I didn’t plan on you finding out this way. I can understand if we would be too much for you...” She didn’t want him to feel like he had to get involved with her.

Hearing Leon come into the living room, Zacky looked over and smiled as he ran over to them. He watched as Leon cuddled into Lexia, he thought back to when Leon was first born. Zacky has been happy for his friend, but he was disappointed she was having a child with someone else. Now he had his chance to keep Lexia and Leon in his life officially.

"Guess what little man?" Lexia said to her son as she tickled him slightly, laughing when he squirmed and giggled. "Zacky and I have some good news to tell you." She paused and then look at Zacky with a soft smile. "Maybe I'll let Zacky tell you since he is super excited to tell you." She said and Leon smiled and moved over to his lap. "What is it Uncle Zee?" He asked excitedly.

Brian stood up and faced Lyla, reaching to caress her cheek. "Shh, it's okay sweetheart. I understand." He said and smiled. "I like you and I'm interested in getting to know you more and date. Sure, I've never been with single mother, but I want you and everything that comes with you. You and Kira are a package deal, and I am okay with that."

Lyla was relieved to hear Brian’s words, knowing that he was okay with her having Kira. “I’m so happy to hear you say that, I really want to get to know you,” She smiled up at him. Glancing over at Kira, she smiled seeing her climb up and down the jungle gym. She turned her attention back to Brian, “Is there anything you want to know?”

Zacky took Leon on his lap and smiled, he was hoping Leon would still be excited, “Well, your mom and I are dating now.” He took a minute to watch for his reaction, “What do you think?”

Leon smiled, "Does that mean you're gonna be my Daddy, because you and mommy love each other and me?" He asked getting more excited. Lexia smiled at her three year old son, knowing that he would be happy about them. "You want Zacky to be your dad?" She asked the little boy, knowing full well that is what he wanted.

Brian watched Kira for a bit and then looked back at Lyla with a smile. "I have to admit, I really never been around kids, except for when my friend Zacky brings his godson around. But there's a lot I have to learn." He chuckled. "Is the father still in the picture? I don't want to step over any boundaries." He asked.

Lyla nodded, understanding where he was coming from. She was hesitant to answer when he asked about Kira’s father, “I’m going to be completely honest with you. Kira’s father hasn’t wanted anything to do with her since she was six months old. He tries to talk to her maybe once a year. He lives in Arizona, that’s why I moved here, to get away and start over.”

“Well, I’d love to step up and be your daddy,” Zacky told him. He looked between Leon and Lexia, “I love both of you very much.” Zacky smiled as Leon nodded when Lexia asked if he wanted Zacky to be his dad.

Leon smiled and looked back at Zacky. "Can I call you Daddy?" He said with hope in his eyes. Lexia smiled at her son, happy that her son was taking the news of her and Zacky dating really well. Of course, she already knew that Leon would be happy for her and Zacky.

Brian nodded, "Well he lost out on a great woman and a cute little girl." He said as he moved a strand of Lyla's hair out of her face. "Such a shame for your ex, but good for me. I want to get to know you and your little girl and be imvolved in your life if you allow it."

Lyla smiled at his words, she couldn’t push the thought of Kira’s father, Luca, showing his face from her mind. She knew it was a long shot, but it scared her to think that Luca would try something. “Well, I can’t wait for us to get to know each other,” she smiled over at him.

Zacky was slightly surprised to hear Leon’s question, he glanced over at Lexia before looking back at Leon, “If you want to, I don’t want to push. If you want to call me daddy, it’s okay with me.”

Leon leaped out Lexia's lap to hug Zacky. "I want to call you Daddy." He said and smiled. "I love you Daddy and I'm glad that you love mommy and me." He smiled. Lexia heart swelled seeing the sight of the two loves of her life. "I wish I had done this earlier." She said as she moved closer to Zacky. "We were meant to be a family."

Brian smiled and leaned in to kiss Lyla's cheek. "And I look forward to getting to know you and your daughter." He smiled when she blushed. "I guess that means, I'm going back to the drawing board about our date on Saturday. I want to be in good graces with your daughter."

Lyla blushed softly when Brian kissed her cheek. Brian saying he wanted to get to know Kira as well was scoring him major points as far as Lyla was concerned. “I’m sure whatever you plan will be wonderful,” Lyla said softly.

Zacky was as quickly becoming overwhelmed with happiness. Leon was enough to make his heart melt. “Well, I’m glad that you and mommy love me,” Zacky said. Hearing Lexia, he nodded, “We should have been like this from the start, you and Leon mean everything to me.”

Leighla felt a tear slip from her eye. She was so happy that Zacky wanted them to be a family. She has always loved Zacky and was estatic that he felt the same. Lexia quickly wiped the tear away from her cheek and smiled. "You mean the world to me and especially to Leon. We couldn't ask for a better man to be apart of our lives than you." She said truthfully.

Brian smiled then rolled his eyes at Matt when he cleared his throat. "I have to go, but maybe tomorrow if you are free for an hour or two tomorrow, I would love to take you and Kira out to lunch tomorrow. Think of it as a pre-date" he asked Lyla, hoping she would agree. He figured that he could get to know a little bit about Kira before their date on Saturday and help him plan accordingly.

Lyla was excited to hear Brian ask about tomorrow, “I’d like that. Just send me a text message or give me a call on what time would work for you.” She smiled at him as Kira climbed off the jungle gym and made her way over to Lyla, pulling at her hand, “Mama, I’m tired....” Lyla picked her up, “I’ll see you tomorrow Brian.” She gave him a smile before carrying Kira back to the car.

“I don’t know about that, but I’d say I do the best that I can for you two,” He would, Zacky would do everything physically possible to be sure that Lexia and Leon were well off.

Leighla smiled "That's all we ask for." She said and then got up when the doorbell rang. "Chinese is here. Why don't you pick out a movie for us to watch, Leon." She said walked towards the door to pick up and pay the order.

Brian smiled "I'll see you both tomorrow." He said and waved to the sleepy Kira. He watched them get into the car and drive off, before facing Matt. "Okay, okay we can finally get some food." He said to his friend who was clearly annoyed with him.

Lyla smiled as she put Kira in her seat and buckled her. She gave Brian another wave before getting in the car and driving back to her house. She was still smiling from Brian’s reaction to Kira.

Matt rolled his eyes, “Its about damn time.” He smirked slightly, “She is damn fine for a single mom.” He laughed, nudging his friend and teasing him, “Now Let’s go get food.”

Zacky smiled as he watched Leighla go to the door, and laughed as Leon went to his movies. He relaxed on the couch as he thought about everything that had happened that day.

Lexia came back with the food and took out all of the containers out and placed it on the table before getting plates and utensils. She smiled to herself, happy with everything that happened and how happy she will be with Zacky now that they were dating. She definitely felt like the most luckiest woman to be alive."

Brian playfully punched Matt's shoulder. "Back off man, she's mine." He said already getting defensive of Lyla. He truly liked her and was hoping that after tomorrow and their date on Saturday, he can continue to see her and start seeing each other officially.

Matt put his hands up, “Alright, Alright. Looks like Zacky isn’t the only one walking in to a ready made family.” He laughed.

Lyla took Kira home and gave her a bath. Once she got her daughter into her pajamas, Kira looked up at her, “We okay mama?” Lyla smiled and nodded, “We’re okay baby girl.”

Zacky watched as Lexia places everything on the table. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, “I still can’t believe this is real.” He laughed softly.

Lexia smiled, "Me too. I feel like this is a dream. But I'm happy that this is real" she said and turned around to face him. "You know, you are the most beautiful man I ever laid eyes on." She said and pressed her lips to his softly.

"Mommy, Daddy! I picked out a movie can we eat now. I'm hungry" Leon said as he tugged on Zacky's pants from the leg. Lexia smiled and nodded, "Sure baby, we're about to eat now. Go sit at the table." She told her son and looked at Zacky. "You gotta get used to being called Daddy instead of Uncle Zee." She smiled and went to fix Leon his food.

Brian rolled his eyes once more. "We all know that Zacky should have been the one to knock up Lexia. Instead of that Jaxon guy." He chuckled but smiled at the thought of him being Lyla's boyfriend and Kira's dad. It was funny because Brian never really thought about being a dad or having kids, but he actually like the thought of being one to Kira and a good man for Lyla.

Lyla walked to her bedroom, Kira following behind, dragging her doll she had gotten for her birthday. Lyla changed into a pair of shorts and a baggy t-shirt as she sat down on the bed and turned the tv on. Kira crawled up next to her, it was there usual thing to do at night.

Matt laughed, “That’s true, Zacky should have had that from the start.” He glanced over at Brian, “You’re sure you’re ready for all that?” He asked curiously.

Zacky laughed softly, “Yeah I do, I never thought he’d call me daddy.” The fact that Leon had jumped right into calling Zacky daddy. He sat down at the table with Leon and Lexia, “This is nice though.”

Lexia smiled and fixed Zacky's can plate after she made Leon's. "I knew he would have one day, but I just didn't know where would be in our relationship. But it is nice that this is happening." She said and placed his plate down in front of him, kissing his cheek afterwards.

Brian looked at Matt and nodded, "I never thought about it until now, but there's something about Lyla that draws me in and her little girl already has me wrapped around her little finger and she hasn't said much to me. But I'm ready for the challenge and I will do anything to have them both." He said, really serious about being a part of the two girls' lives.
