A Wolfs Mate

"Yes, of course." The woman said. She took a moment to ask what type of books that Rae was interested in reading before turning out of the room and heading out, locking the door behind her. She was gone for a short while before coming back with five different books in her hands. She figured that at least one of them had to interest the young woman. Opening the door, she came in and set the books down on the table.

"I hope that one of these will be sufficient." She said before picking up the breakfast dish that Rae had finished. "Is there anything else that you would like?" Alice asked her softly. Her eyes were glued on the young lady before her. She was curious about the alpha's new mate but knew not to ask James too many questions while he was still trying to figure it all out himself. Though Alice could not help but wonder if talking to the young woman was allowed. Alice knew she wouldn't really get in trouble but she also did not want to cause any issues for James.

(I am sorry this is so short. I don't have a lot of ideas for her. Just want to give YC any opportunities to ask questions and ect. XD)

As soon as the woman walked out of the room, Rae took that chance to nibble on the fruit and some of the bacon and waffles before calling it quit. She remembered James pushing her to eat, so hopefully having had a bit for breakfast, this new woman would be happy and tell James that she was keeping herself healthy.

Having finished eating, Rae moved back to her usual spot on the bed and sat against the headboard. Her head turned towards the window as she watched the pack members every now and again as they moved through her view. She could see quite a few different faces, although none of them looked like they'd be very friendly. So, how James found that nice looking redhead, was beyond Rae's expectations.

Hearing footsteps, Raelynn turned her head and watched as the red-haired girl came in again. She did her best to offer a small smile towards the woman. "Thank you," Rae said quietly before glancing towards the window for a few more seconds in thought before looking towards the woman once more. "Actually, do you mind answering a few questions of mine?" Rae asked, her tone soft. "James said it was alright." She added, wanting to make sure that this woman wasn't doing anything wrong, although that was up to this woman.

"Where are we? I've never seen so many dense trees." Rae asked, curiously. Her home pack was near the ocean, and the trees were scarce but thick in some places. They had a lot more open fields. "Is the pack violent? All the wolves I can see from my window look intimidating." A just as Rae asked that she looked outside and notices a particularly strong looking guy walking past with something thrown over his shoulder. "I-I don't mean that to sound mean!" Rae quickly blurted out, worried that her assumption would upset this woman like it would of with Hazel. "I-I've just never seen so many muscular males before. All the males from my birth pack were on the skinnier side." She explained, hoping she cleared things up with this woman.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I never introduced myself. I'm Raelynn, and you are?" Rae asked, trying to be friendly with this woman. Going as far as to offer a large smile.

Alice moved one hand on top of the other over her waist as she listened to Rae's many questions. A gentle smile and light laugh escaped her as the woman introduced herself. "Be assured that I know who you are Raelynn." She told her before continuing. "My name is Alice. It is nice to meet you." The woman was quiet glad that Rae was speaking with her. It was hard not to be curious about the new member of their pack. Especially when James had the girl hidden away. "And I can certainly try to answer these questions for you."

The older woman headed over to the window, glancing down to see who Rae was referring to in particular. There were quite a few people walking around by now and some of the men were starting their training. "We are in a forest mountain region. Which is why you see dense trees." She said before looking back at Rae. "And this pack is not a war pack, if that is your question. We stay strong to protect ourselves as some of the packs around us are not so friendly. James prefers us to work on ourselves instead of taking over those close by."

"Though our foes find them intimidating enough to leave us be, for the most part." Alice smiled at her softly before walking away from the window. "They do train a lot though. Everyone here does know some level of defense though, just in case." She told Rae honestly. She had a feeling that Rae was not trained in being a warrior so there seemed to be no harm in telling the truth. "Are there not a lot of packs near your birth pack?"

As the woman, Alice, spoke Rae made sure to stay quiet. Her gaze never leaving her as she made sure to take in every last detail that the woman offered her. A slight nod of her head happened every now and again as a way to show that she understood what was being said and explained to her. Then, she slowly looked out towards the outside world once more. 'So this is a mountain region.' She thought to herself before nervously biting down on her bottom lip. That meant this area was more packed with wolves, that was a new scenario to Rae.

"So, you guys consider yourselves a friendly pack then? Have you never fought with another pack before?" Rae turned her green gaze towards Alice once more, her head tilting to the side ever so slightly. She could have sworn with having been drugged and kidnapped, that this would have been one of the darker packs she was told stories about like a pup. "Or taken over?" She added that last part as a sort of an afterthought.

It caught Rae off guard a little bit when Alice threw a question back at her. Her lips parted slightly in surprise, as she wasn't expecting it, but couldn't help it as her lips then slowly turned into a light grin. She liked this lady. An so, with a shake of her head, Rae put together the reply for the question that was thrown her way. "Not that I could tell." Rae said, trying to be as honest as she could. Rae was pretty sheltered in her birthplace, she never learned how to track, hunt for herself, or to even really sense a friend from a foe. She could only pick up the sounds of those close to her moving around in close proximity. "I mean, I'm sure that there were, but, my birth pack only ran a couple of miles along the beach and maybe a mile or so along with some trees. So, we were pretty much in the middle of nowhere." It was small, but it was enough land for the small pack. At least, that's how big Rae was told it was.

"How did you know my name already?" Rae asked, changing the question. She slowly moved her legs so that they were stretched out in front of her instead of being crossed over each other. "Has James told the whole pack about me or something?" She asked, curious about how many knew about the hidden princess that was locked in the tower of the dark knight.

"We do not have much of an interest in fighting other packs. However, some packs have an interest in fighting us. Due to that, we have fought with other packs before and we did need to take over one. Though that was after it was made clear that they would not stop until one of us were taken down. As I said, there are packs around us that are rather aggressive, especially when it concerns getting more land." Alice tilted her head at Rae curiously. "Has your pack never run into things like this? It's rather normal when you're close to other wolves."

Alice let out a small 'ah' once Rae explained. "So your land was not particularly valuable and if you have a small pack, others don't see you as a threat." She let out a shrug. "Wolves fight, and they tend to fight often. We just normally have an agreement to try and not to kill each other. Even if we're not fighting with anyone, packs besides us are probably going at it. Though, with James in charge, we are pretty safe here. He has us stay strong enough that most tend to leave us alone."

A laugh left Alice's lips as Rae asked her question. "Of course everyone knows that you are here. How could we not? Besides, we don't keep secrets from packmates." She smiled softly before giving Rae a little wink. "Well, except from the pups but it's for the best."

"Though, the pups know that you are here as well. We knew about you before you came here, hun." Alice gave her a sympathetic smile. "We hope that you'll be able to join us as a normal packmate though soon. We don't love that you're stuck up here and I can tell that it's upsetting James as well."

"So." Raelynn started once Alice stopped explaining things about the pack to her. "Does all of that mean that this pack's land is more valuable since James is having everyone stay strong?" She tilted her head to the side slightly, curious since she's never learned about this sort of thing. She was always told that her pack was strong and that no one dared to go after them, but, maybe that wasn't all true.

Slowly, a light blush started to appear on Rae's cheeks as she listened to Alice. Her eyes slowly shifting away from the older woman as she saw the wink. "That's embarrassing," Rae mumbled, bringing her legs to her chest and wrapping her arms about them as she rested her chin on her knees. "So, you all knew that I'd be brought here?" Rae repeated, making sure that she heard Alice right. "Against my will? Dragged from my friends and family." A small sigh escaped from Rae as she glanced down at the floor, no longer able to look at Alice in the face.

"How could lock me up in a room possibly upset James? He's the one who is locking me up." Rae mumbled quietly, her arms tightening slightly around her legs. "This isn't fair," Rae mumbled quietly, not happy that she had someone to talk to anymore. The news that the whole pack knew that she was kidnapped didn't settle well in Rae's stomach. She's stuck here, and even if she was to ever get out, there would always be someone watching for her, to bring her back to her captor.

A small groan escaped from Rae as she buried her face into the back of her legs. She was drawing a little hungry, which meant that she'd be having dinner with James soon. A that thought kinda made her nervous. She's only just met the guy, but her wolf was excited at the sight of seeing him, while her human side dreaded it. She felt like she was developing Stockholm syndrome or something. She didn't know how long it'd take for that stuff to actually happen, or if she was developing it, but. Rae could feel her mind twisting and morphing as she stared at these boring walls.

"Thank you for talking to me Alice," Rae said quietly, her head slowly lifting so that she could look at the woman once more. "I've learned a lot about my situation now." Her pretty green eyes looked down at her toes and slowly wiggled them as she stared. She had nothing else to say to the older woman now. Her mind not wanting to go over anything other than the fact that the whole pack knew that she was kidnapped on her birthday and marked in her sleep. This pack is twisted. She had no way to escape.

"The pack's land is very valuable, yes. That is why we do get attached often. However, luckily, we do not have the most valuable land and only the second most. That pack is constantly under attack no matter what they do." Alice said as she shook her head. A small sigh left her lips. 

"Yes, we knew what your situation was going to be. You are in the unfortunate situation of being the only alpha female here for literally hundreds of miles. And, I am sure that you are aware of the beta situation occurring. We will do what we need to do to stay strong. We all would just prefer that you also be happy in the process." Alice looked at her, the smile on her face disappearing as she searched Rae's face. "And James is upset about it because he rather have everyone in his pack live a good life, and that includes you. Besides, he is your mate. His wolf won't enjoy locking you up." 

A deep frown move over her face as she could tell the complete change in Rae's demeanor. It was definitely not what Alice wanted to see. Though she gave Rae a nodded and started to gather everything so that she could leave. "Just know that this pack wants you to be one of our packmates. And as an alpha female, you would be treated well here." Alice picked up the last item before looking straight at Rae. "Don't judge us for wanting to continue to thrive while others are barely thriving. Your pack is no better than ours." With that, Alice headed out of the room, locking the door behind her.

As Alice's last words echoed in Rae's mind, the young she-wolf slowly fell backward. Her bright green eyes staring blankly at the ceiling. She didn't know what to think anymore, where was she supposed to start? So many things were on her mind, and yet, she had no one she could trust here to help her through this. She was being held captive, and her best friend was locked away somewhere to be used against her.

A small sigh escaped from the young girl's lips as she slowly closed her eyes. She just wanted to go home to be with her friends and family. Why was that making her the bad person in this whole thing? She was young, she wasn't ready to move out on her own, nor did she plan to before all of this stuff happen. She was content in her little bubble, now, she was just lost.

Silence filled the room as Rae laid there for a while. Then, after having enough of her little pity party, she grabbed one of the books that Alice gave her and scooted towards the bed's headboard. She didn't even glance at the title of the book before she started to read it. Besides, she didn't know how long she'd be locked up in this room, why be picky about her reading material. Right?

It must have been a few hours later or something, Rae's nose was still in her book and the nightstand next to her bed had been turned on for the extra light. She was absorbed in her book, which turned out to be an adventure book looking for a lost stone of some sorts. It was quite good, so good in fact, that Rae didn't even hear people walking around the hallway or register the scent of her mate wafting through the house. She was sucked into a world that wasn't her own, it was what she needed.

James knocked on the door before unlocking and entering the room. His eyes landed on Rae, who was sitting on her bed with a book on her lap. A small smile came over his face for a moment before he cleared his throat and spoke. "It is time for dinner. Follow me." James turned and took a few steps out of the room, but stopping at the stop of the stairs as he waited for Rae to follow him out.

Once she was out of the room, he lead her downstairs to the main portion of the house. It was a lot bigger down here and the rooms were quite spacious. They moved past the chic living room as well as the kitchen before entering the dining room. The table was already full of food for them to eat. James wrapped an arm loosely around her waist as he lead her over to one of the chairs. After pulling it out for her, James moved to the chair at the head of the table, besides her.

"Do you enjoy wine?" James asked as he poured both of them a glass of red wine. Even if she did not particularly, James wanted her to try it. She was young enough that he did not believe she knew much about it anyways. Once both glasses were full, James started to serve himself from the plates that were laid before them. There was steak, salad, breadsticks, fruit, and green beans. "The steak is on the rare side but I can cook it more if you prefer it that way."

At the sudden knock on the door, Rae couldn't help but to jump. She had been so lost in her book, that she was completely zoned out. Her bright green eyes blinked in confusion as she spotted James. Then, she looked towards the windows and noticed how dark it was getting outside. "Oh..." She muttered before bending a page in the book and setting it on the night stand before slowly getting off of the bed.

For some reason, Raelynn couldn't help but to feel a little nervous. The last time she had been out of this room, she had been asleep. Tranqualized so that she didn't make a fuss as she was locked up like some kind of wild animal or something.
As she took a step out of her room, Rae looked around the hall warily. Wondering if this was some sort of test. Then, as she looked towards her right and spotted the stairs, Rae gulped as she saw her captive waiting for her. Then, she slowly moved to follow him. Her bright green eyes looking around the whole house. Not quite sure when she'd be able to look at everything again. Or if she'd get the chance.

At the feel of James' loose hand on her back, Rae couldn't help but to flinch slightly, but tried to relax. She instinctively glanced towards the door, wanting to bolt. It took everything in her to not do that though, she needed to stay. She needed to make sure her friend survived. She needed to protect him, even if it meant being a toy for this man.

"Thank you." Rae said quietly as she sat down on the chair that was pulled out for her. Her eyes then glancing up towards James for a moment before she looked around the table at all of the food. The steak smelled wonderful, and it made Rae's animal instincts want to drool. She didn't though, because she was a lady and ladies didn't drool over delicious food.

Glancing back towards James as he asked a question. Rae couldn't help but to feel a little nervous. She knew that wine was alchohol and messed with people's motor skills, just like beer, but she's never dabbled in that stuff so she wouldn't really know if it was true. "I've never had any, but the adults in my birthpack all seemed to enjoy it on the odd occassion." She told him, watching warily as he filled the glasses. They seemed to be filled quite a bit, and that made the young girl a little nervous.

Slowly, Rae reached out and gently grasped the thin part of the wine glass and brought it towards her. At first, she tipped it a little and took a sniff of the drink, causing the hair on the back of her neck to slowly raise. It smelled fruity as well as a litte something she couldn't really put a finger on. Raelynn cast James a glance towards James once more before she closed her eyes and took a small sip of the wine. Then, quickly pulled the glass away at the sharp taste. "Woah." She mumbled, not expecting the taste to be so bubbly.

"What's in it?" Rae asked, slowly placing the wine glass on the table once more. She had no idea how she felt about it. Then, she followed James lead on filling her plate, although she only got a little bit. Only going for a small piece of steak, some salad and some fruit. She did not like green beans so she made sure to not make any sort of movements to take any. "The steaks fine, thank you." Rae said quietly, not wanting to make a fuss and trying to stay on his good side.

"What is in the wine?" James asked her softly before lifting his head to look up at her. He picked up the bottle, looking it over for a moment. "Wine is mostly just made up from grapes. Considering this is red wine, I would have to assume that it is red grapes." He said before setting the bottle down. "I did not add anything extra to it, if that is what you were wondering."

With that James started to eat the meal in front of him. If he was honest, James was rather pleased with how this was going so far. He had been concerned that she would try to run away or to trick him in some way. Though, so far, she was just being obedient. Obviously, it was because he had her friend but none the less, it pleased him. Plus, this was James' opportunity to show that he would be good to her if Rae would just let him. He knew that what he was asking for her was rather... extreme. But James knew that he would give her anything and everything she wanted if she just followed along.

Besides, there was something in him, his wolf, that desperately wanted Rae to be happy and to care for him. It would be difficult to do that if he had to lock her up in a room and force himself on her to get the pups that he needed. Though, James was sure that his wolf would follow suit if the other option was not having her at all. "What were you reading?" James asked her, wanting to make conversation. There were a lot of things that he wanted to say, but he didn't want to talk about anything that might be upsetting to her. "It looked like you were engrossed when I came in."

James took a sip of his wine before going back to eating his food. Would just showing that he could be kind be enough for Rae though? How long would he need to keep her friend before she would follow along even without his looming presence here? James wouldn't want to keep him locked up for too long if he would just end up releasing him.

Maybe it was the sip of wine talking, or the lack of sleep that day, but. Rae couldn't help it as a small giggle escaped past her plump lips as she glanced up towards James and then back down towards her plate of food. "I was directing that more so towards its weird taste, but. I guess the grapes would explaining it." She said quietly, not looking up at James as she spoke. Her eyes focused on shifting things around on her plate instead.

Raising the glass to her lips once more, Rae took a few small sips. The more she drank the tart liquid, the more she got used to it. It was also making her feel a little warm, but she put that feeling off as her just being embarrassed to be around James. Each time he glanced at her, it felt like her heart was going to beat out of her chest. Maybe it was her wolf talking, but, Rae was kinda happy to not be yelling at him or trying to escape from him. She was content, for now, at least.

Raising her gaze towards James as his question met her ears. Rae slowly lowered her almost empty glass of wine and placed it on the table. "I don't know, I didn't look at the title. It was one of the books Alice gave me. An I just started to read it." Raelynn explained, grabbing her fork and going back to finishing the little bit of food she had left on her plate.

"It's an adventure story about finding some kind of stone. It's supposed to be really valuable and some guy is after the main character because he wants to use the stone for bad." A small sigh escaped from Rae as she thought about the story she was reading. It was so good, it kept her attention each step, took her on the wild ride that the main character was living through.

His smile grew slightly as he heard the same giggle come from her. The wolf in him pounded against his chest, wanting James to be aware of how sweet and cute their mate was. Though, James pushed his wolf down, wanting him to calm down a little so he could continue to remain conscious about all the factors going into tonight. However, even with that desire, his guard fell down a little.

"Well, it sounds interesting in the least." James assured her. He did not spend much of his time reading, though it did enjoy a story now and then. It was just that he preferred to hear it from someone than from pages. But that was just his opinion. He had no issue with Rae reading, especially if it kept her out of trouble for the most part. "If you would like, I could bring a lot of new books to you. Is there anything that you would like to read?"

James finished up his last bite of his food before setting his silverware down. There was dessert to be had in a bit but he wanted to wait until Rae was done before moving on to something like that. "Or is there something else that you would like? I could get other things for you to entertain your day with. Like do you sketch at all? Or something else?" James looked over at her, seeing the soft red from the liquor begin to spread over her cheeks.

"Are you enjoying the wine?" James asked even though he was rather sure he already knew the answer.

The liquor seemed to be doing its job at relaxing Rae. As she no longer felt as on guard around James as she had been when the little dinner had begun. She felt calm, the little voice in the back of her mind telling her that the back door was just a room away was silent. Her wolf was content, happy that her mate was in the same room as her. Just a chair away, just an arm stretch away from her.

At James offer, Rae could feel her eyes light up slightly. Her mind forgetting that she was a prisoner in this place. "Yes please." She said quietly, looking eager at the fact that James said that she could get some more books. "I like everything, just not horror stories." She told him, not realizing that she was becoming excited over something that the male was offering her. That the one who had kidnapped her and locked her up was bringing her something that she utterly enjoyed.

A small hum escaped from Rae as James asked if she enjoyed anything else. "I like to sketch, yes." She told him, becoming a little loose-lipped from the wine that was running through her veins now. "I also like to paint and listen to music." She blurted out, talking without thinking anything through. "Recently, I've been experimenting with spray paint art. It's really hard to do, but if you really concentrate then you can get some beautiful pieces out of it. Although I've only managed to practice it twice, I think I could make some pretty stuff one day. I won't become the modern day Van Goh or anything, but at least I'll be able to make things I'll be proud of."

Once Rae finished her meal, she reached for her glass of wine and finished it. Only to look at James in slight confusion once she had downed the last drop. Her cheeks, which were turning a light shade of red from the wine, grew a little rosier. Then, she looked down at the empty glass, blinking in surprise. She had no idea that she had actually drunk the whole glass. "Oh." Was all she said about that fact as she set the glass back down and rested her hands in her lap, not sure what else to say or do.

James took Rae's response as a sign that she wanted more. He picked up the bottle and poured her another glass before doing the same for himself. The man then put the cork back in the top of it. It was clear how the wine was affecting his mate and James was not particularly interested in things going too far. He had no idea how his mate was like when drunk and he didn't want to find out just yet. Though tipsy Rae seemed fun enough. 

"I will see what I can do about the books then." He assured her with a smile. James knew he would be able to get her a few things to read but he was unsure how many he had available to him within the next 24 hours. Though art supplies he knew he had. It was an easy way to entertain the pups when they were stuck inside. "I will look into getting spray paint but it might take some time. Though art supplies and music is easy enough. We have these things here and I'll get them to you tomorrow morning." James smiled at her softly. 

For a moment, he looked his mate over before slowly standing up from his chair. "I will go get the dessert." With that James headed into the kitchen, leaving Rae by herself. He felt rather confident that she would not go anywhere. And even if she tried to run, it would be easy for him to catch her at this point. 

A couple of minutes went past before James moved his way back into the dining room, carrying two plates of lemon cake with a cream cheese frosting. A smile on his face as he did so. It was made by one of the best baker's in the pack so he was excited to eat it. "I have lemon cake for us." He said as he turned the corner to walk back into the room.

Bright green orbs watched with interest as the red wine slowly got poured into her glass once again. The dark color looking quite pretty against the white table cloth in the background. This was Raelyn's first time having any kind of liquor, so, she felt like she'd better cool it on the drink. Although James poured it for her, so, she has to finish it. Right? It'd be impolite to not do so.

Shifting her gaze back towards James as he spoke, a small smile slowly grew on the young girl's lips. Her rosy cheeks showing clearly in the lighting of the room. "Thank you." She said quietly. not really sure about what else she was to say at the moment. "Just, please don't bend over backward for anything. I don't want to cause an inconvenience." Rae mumbled quietly, reaching for the wine once more.

She was a captive, a prisoner, yet. She didn't want to be an inconvenience to this man? How amusing, how, odd. Raelynn took a few more sips of the wine. Her gaze slowly following after James as he left to get dessert for them. Frankly, Rae was a little too full for anything else, but, she wasn't going to argue. She was a good girl, she is a good girl. She will make James happy tonight, she will save her friend's life, she will try and keep some of the freedom that James was slowly offering her.

As time slowly ticked by as Rae waited for James, she couldn't help but get a little antsy. She didn't like being alone, it reminded of her of being locked in that room. She needed to move. She wanted to move.

Slowly, Raelynn stood up from her chair. Her glass still in her hand as she looked around the room. Taking everything in, she had been too nervous to really look around earlier, but. The wine had relaxed her, and now. She realized that this place was like a mansion of some kind. Slowly, Rae moved about the dining room, taking in the beautiful table that they had been eating it. The fireplace in the wall that was behind her and split the room from another room. Slowly, Rae raised her glass to her lips as she slowly made her way to the other room. Making sure that when James came back he could see her.

Walking more into the living room, Rae's eyes looked over the built-in shelves on the far end of the wall. She had stopped a few steps into the room, not wanting to go too far from James, so she couldn't really get a good look at the collection of movies that caught her attention. Her head tilted to the side in interest as she wondered what sort of movies that James liked to watch when he had free time.

Slowly, Raelynn moved towards the shelf. She raised the wine glass to her lips and took a few more sips as she reached out and gently tilted a DVD and looked at the title. Interest filling her gaze as she put the movie back and started to look at all of the movies that were displayed on the wall. She hadn't even heard James speak as he came back to the dining area, too preoccupied in sneaking a peek at James' movie collection to realize that she had moved without asking James for permission. Or staying within eyesight as she was slightly hidden behind one of the fireplaces as she gazed at the movies.

Then, as one of the movies collected her attention, Raelynn stood up on her tippy toes and tried to reach for the movie. Her tongue slightly sticking out in concentration as she tried to reach the movie. Her pointer finger managed to tap on the movie and get it to move. It started to fall, and Rae tried to catch it, only, she missed and ended up getting hit in the head with it instead. Her wine sloushing a little in its glass and splashing the front of her shirt. "Ow..." Rae mumbled, rubbing her sore forehead with her free hand before leaning down and picking up the movie and looking at the case. Transformers was written on the cover and a light smile tugged on Rae's lips. It was one of her favorite movies.

As James entered back into the dining room, and not seeing Rae, a deep burning sensation started to radiate through his chest. He was quick to throw the dessert onto the table, getting it out of his way as his nose moved up into the air. As anger started to move through his body, he was following the scent, quickly moving as he headed to the living room. Though as he saw Rae there, smiling stupidly at a movie, his anger immediately started to leave him. She didn't try to run away, but instead was being nosy and somehow managed to spill all over herself. 

Though as the panic left his wolf, James was immediately overcome with another emotion from the creature. He walked over to Rae purposefully, knowing that he could not say no to his wolf after what had just surged through his body. James grabbed both the movie and the glass of wine from Rae's hand, setting it down on the shelf before lightly pressing himself into Rae and pressing his lips against her. 

His wolf's immediate need was taking control and James was unable to stop it. A light playful growl left his lips as he hands moved down, grabbing onto her wine covered shirt. "It's all dirty. Lets at least take this off." He mumbled into her before pulling back and pulling Rae's shirt over her head. James dropped it to the floor before grabbing her hips and bringing Rae back into his body. James leaned down and started to kiss up and down her neck. While he did pull and hold her needily, there was something gentle in the way James did it, not wanting to hurt his mate. 

"You shouldn't have left the kitchen so quietly." James whispered into her neck as he gently pressed her against the wall. "Fuck my wolf needs you so bad."

At the sudden appearance of James' hands, Rae couldn't help but jump slightly. Her bright green eyes widened as she looked up towards Jame' eyes, wondering if he was going to yell at her for running away. If he was going to push her back towards the living room. His anger over little things seemed to really cause the young female to worry and she could feel her heart rate speeding up at the close proximity.

A light gasp escaped from Rae as she felt James move even closer to her. Instinctively, her hands moved to press against the wall for support. Her knees going a little weak as she felt his lips suddenly collide with hers. Awakening her tired wolf and bringing her to life, making her stir and fight Rae for control over the whole situation.

At the sound of James growl, a shiver ran down Rae's spine. Not one of fear this time, no, her wolf was intrigued. Her mate was showing interest in her, he was close to her, he was touching her. This was a big moment. A small whine left Rae's lips as James pulled away from her body to pull off the wine covered shirt. Her hands instinctively reaching out to grasp onto his shirt once her top was off and on the ground.

The coolness of the wall against Rae's flush back sent another wave of feelings to wash over Rae. Her eyes closed as she leaned her head back, enjoying the feeling of his lips on her neck. "Sorry." She said quietly, her hands gently grasping his shoulders as she instinctively rubbed her hips against his. Her wolfs wants were growing more and more as they let the moment take control.

Slowly, Rae opened her eyes to a crack and looked towards James. Her eyes were dark, her wolf taking over her thinking. "Why not?" She asked quietly. She leaned forward and gently nipped his bottom lip. Giving it a small tug before pulling back enough so that he could look her in the eyes. Her cheeks were a little pink in the dim light of the living room light, but, she was certain that James could still see the want building in her gaze.

Keeping her gaze locked on James, Rae slid her hands down his chest. Grabbing the hem of his shirt and slowly dragging it up his chest so that she could pull it off of him. Then, she'd drop it to the floor like her shirt as her arms would move to wrap around his neck. She'd stand on her tippy toes as she'd press her lips against his. Her nails gently digging into his skin as she pulled his body closer to hers.

James was surprised but ecstatic as Rae started to follow suit. He could feel her wolf wanting him and that only encouraged the man more. It was all he needed was some kind of permission to keep going and once Rae took his shirt off, James felt like he had it. Grabbing her by her hips, James lifted her up. He had Rae's legs move around his hips as he pressed her harder against the wall, supporting her with his hands on her ass, squeezing.

A small surprised squeak escaped from Raelynn as she felt James pick her up by her hips. Her eyes widened slightly in surprise, wrapping her hips around his waist tightly, a little scared of him dropping her onto the ground. Her grip with her hands, also tightening. Liking the support of holding onto him so tightly.

With the feel of James lips against hers, Rae's mind just went blank. He was devouring her, and her wolf was loving every moment of it. His lips were addicting, the way they melded against hers. The way he dominated her in the kiss. It all just sent chills down Rae's spine.
