As she was working on the breaker, Alice could hear the woman calling her name and making her way down the steps to the basement. Immediately, Alice tensed up. She ditched trying to fix the electrical system and went straight to Rae. A growl escaped from her chest as she grabbed onto Rae harshly by her upper arm. Despite her older age, Alice was still quite strong from all of her fighting days. "I told you not to move." Alice chastised the girl as she started to lead her back upstairs.

In truth, Alice was terrified of the idea of Rae finding her friend down in the basement. She knew that the man was there, and where he was. In a locked, soundproof room. And he was suppose to stay as far away from Rae while he was here. Alice was unsure if the girl was trying to be helpful or was trying to do what Alice was dreading, but none the less, the woman was pissed. "Do you not use your brain?" Alice growled. "It is not safe for you to roam around the house when the power is out. What would we have done if you ended up getting electrocuted? Do you know how to save someone from that because I don't. And didn't James tell you to stay on the first floor? The basement is not for you."

Once they were on the main floor, Alice stopped dead in her tracks. Her grip on Rae was still tight but it was clear that the woman did not know what to do with her. She raised her nose up, smelling the area around them. Unfortunately, she did not know if Rae was up to no good or not. There mere fact she left the living room set Alice on edge. She turned to Alice, her eyes narrowing at the woman as she tried to size her up as best as possible. "What were you doing? What were you thinking?"

Rae now had to make a decision. Either she was going to stay with Alice and sit in the dark on the main floor, or was going to lock her up in her room while trying to get the power to work again. Which one she did depended on how Rae answered. While Alice did not know the young woman very well, she knew she was a pretty good judge of whether someone was lying or not. Now, hopefully, she could find out if Rae was really just looking for light or not.

As soon as Raelynn heard Alice's growl, she stopped in her tracks. Her lips turning into a frown as she turned her head in the older woman's direction. Then, she let out a small yelp of surprise as she grabbed her arm. This was a side that Rae didn't expect Alice to have. So much authority was in the woman's voice that it scared the younger female a little bit.

"I'm not stupid Alice, I didn't touch anything electrical. I only opened a few doors to look for candles or flashlights." Rae said, wincing a little bit as she followed the woman up the stairs. Her lips slowly pursing into a thin line as she heard her bring up James and not knowing how to save someone who's been electrocuted.

Lowering her gaze, Raelynn just stopped trying to defend herself. She knew better than to try and talk her way out of a wolf's anger for disobeying. Alice was a mom, so Rae knew that she needed to be careful with how she speaks to her. So, doing her best to think about her wish to go home, Rae could feel herself becoming upset and used that to her advantage as much as she could.

Sniffling, Raelynn looked up towards Alice. Her heart rate had raised like she was upset and even though she couldn't really see them, her eyes were watery with tears that threaten to fall. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to help." Rae said, sniffling a little as she felt the anxiety of being in trouble and fear of being found out starting to take over. "It's dark in here and I just wanted to find some light in case you couldn't fix that power box thing and I couldn't find anything to light the candles, and I'm sorry. I know I should have listened, but it's dark and scary in here." Rae felt herself starting to hyperventilate as she spoke. "I'm sorry, I just wanted to help. I'm sorry."

Raising her free hand, Rae tried to wipe her eyes and not drop the candles at the same time. A few sniffles escaped from her as well. Opening her mouth to apologize once more, Rae stopped and jumped at the sudden sound of a knock on the door. Her head raised as she couldn't help but look to the door unsurely before looking towards Alice. "Hey, is everything okay?" She could hear some males voice. The sound caused Rae to move closer to Alice out of fear of this strangers voice. The man seemed to have knocked again. "Half the pack's lights are out!"

Alice was taking her time, sizing Rae up as the girl started crying. She was used to seeing crocodile tears but they seemed real to her... The woman was beginning to considered that there was a possibility that Rae was telling the truth and wasn't up to something that would get them both in trouble. Though, her thoughts were quickly shifted as the knock on the door came. The woman lifted her eyes up, thinking that this was probably for the best.

"Come in Trever!" Alice called as she let go of Rae's arm. She reached up, getting running her fingers through Rae's hair to calm her as a 20ish year out man came in. The man was fit and clearly quite strong. His blond hair seemed a bit messy on top of his hair and his light green eyes looked over at the two of them. The man stopped, looking at Rae for a long moment as he took her in. This was the first time that he was able to get a good look at her. Though, after he did so, he bowed his head in obedience. Even though he was probably higher up in the pack, he did still need to show respect to the alpha's mate.

"Can you please go down to the basement and work on the breaker? It would be nice to get some lights on in here." Alice said after Trever brought his head back up. The man looked to Alice, a warm smile on his face now that he realized that the two of them were fine. "Of course. I'll be right back." With that, Trever made his way downstairs.

With the man gone, Alice turned her attention back to Rae. "Lets go back into the living room then. Maybe we can watch one more movie before James gets back." She said as she lead Rae back. Once she was sure the young girl was settled, Alice picked up the candles and started to light them. "This will help us see in the meantime. We could play a game while we wait for Trever to come back." Now that things were taken care of, Alice was ready to move on from the little hiccup they just had. She had no idea if Rae was being honest with her or not, but she preferred not to continue down where they were going.

For a few moments there, Raelynn thought that Alice had seen through her little plan. Though thankfully, it seemed that she bought it and was going to be ignoring the topic as the man, Trever, opened the door. With just one glance towards him, Rae knew that it'd be a bad idea to try and get past him. His tall and well-built body made that obvious to her. Even in the dark, Rae could see the muscles that he possessed.

Shifting her gaze away from this Trever guy, Rae looked towards Alice as she spoke so casually to him. He didn't seem like a bad guy, quite respectful actually. Which posed a little bit of a problem for Rae if she tried to escape once more. The best thing to do, for now, would probably be to friend him, as Alice was now a little suspicious of her. She'll need to be careful.

Moving back towards the living room once Trever left them to fix the breaker, Raelynn laid down in her spot. Curled against the corner as she looked towards the older woman. One of her arms were folded under her head as she rested it against the armrest of the couch. "What sort of games can we plan?" She asked as she watched the candles getting let and being placed on the coffee table.

"I don't really want to play fifty questions, I feel like I've annoyed you enough with my questions for today," Rae mumbled quietly. Her green eyes focused on the flames of the candles as she watched the flames dance. The light from the flames flickering this way and that as it moved around on the string in the wax.

Alice took a moment to look over at Rae who seemed to be upset. There was some confusion moving through the older woman. It was not surprising to wolf that the girl would be distraught over what had just occurred. However, she was still unsure if it was because she was truly trying to help or because almost got caught snooping... In truth, Alice could tell that Rae was going to be difficult to understand. Normally Alice could trust her intuition but she was having a difficult time getting a read on her.

Moving forward, Alice sat down and gently laid her hand against Rae's arm. "You have not annoyed me." The woman whispered. "I am sorry that I growled at you but you scared me, Rae. James put me in charge of you and I wouldn't want anything to happen to you. I was worried that you might get hurt, and I didn't hear you coming down the stairs." She gently rubbed Rae's arm. She could not help but wonder if the girl was believing her. In truth, she didn't want Rae to find her friend or try to escape.

"I was thinking that we could play some Jenga or Yahtzee. But, if you are tired, you could go lay down while I clean and maybe make us a snack for when you wake up." Alice glanced up at the clock on the wall before continuing. "James should be here soon enough anyway. I am sure that they'll contact him now that the power went out."

Alice watched Rae closely, trying to get a read for how Rae felt about what she said. Did she believe her? Would she be happy that James was going to come back?

As Alice spoke, Rae couldn't help but let out a small sigh of her own. She got that Alice was being protective, she was a mother herself. So she was bound to freak over a younger wolves safety, but still. Rae was mated to her Alpha now, even though she hated it. She still shouldn't of treated Rae like she was a small pup. Either way though, that's not really the reason that she was upset anyways. Her plan to find Marcus and find him in the dark had been foiled, so she'll have to play along with not liking being yelled at for helping.

"I'm a young adult Alice, not a pup. I know what I should and shouldn't touch during a power outage." Raelynn said as she shifted her gaze towards the older female. Raelynn let out a small sigh, a little tired of talking to the older woman for the moment. "I think I'll go lay down for a bit." She said, taking the idea to take a nap. As it'll help her think things through.

Slowly, Raelynn moved into a sitting position. Her eyes widening a little as she learned that the man she was forced mated to would be returning soon. "Really?" Raelynn asked, a small tone of excitement filling her tone at the new information that she had just learned. "But wait, does that mean he'd be cutting patrolling short? Isn't that more dangerous than dealing with a power outage?" She asked the excitement that laced her tone turning to one of worry.

With a little bit of fidgeting, Rae looked towards Alice for a moment more as she'd listen to her before heading back upstairs to lay down for a bit. When she got up the stairs, her eyes glanced towards the room she'd been staying in before walking into James' room. Surely, he'd want her to stay in his room now that they had mated because of their wolves wants.

Wanting to get out of the dress that he had picked for her, Rae quickly looked through one of the drawers in his dresser before grabbing a shirt of his. Her wolf humming with excitement at the scent of the male on the article of clothing. Then, with a huff, Rae tried to calm herself as she shed the dress and put the shirt on before she climbed into the bed. The scent of James was a lot stronger here, and it brought a sense of relief to her wolf.

Rolling onto her right side, so that her back would be facing the door. Rae brought the blanket up to her chin and stared across the room towards the wall. It was even darker up here, but her eyes were quick to adjust. It wasn't as clear as if it'd be in the light, but she was still certain she wouldn't run into things. Downstairs, she could hear Alice moving about, doing who knows what.

Slowly, Raelynn closed her eyes. Her mind running ideas of how she could possibly get Marcus out of the cage she was sure he was locked in. He was her best friend, he was only a few months older then she was, and they had grown up as practical siblings. She needed to get him to safety, who knows that James might do to him if she doesn't. She needs to get his unwavering trust in her. No, not just him actually. She needed to find a few people to get to trust her.

"It is better that James come back during blackouts like this. The wolves that are out with him can finish the patrol. Besides, they should have been done by now already." Alice said. Once Rae headed up to go lay down, Alice started to clean up after themselves. She made sure to keep her ears attentive to anything that might be going on with Rae.

It was an hour or so later that James walked into his house. The power was now fixed in the camp, and James had finished up the things he needed to do that day. Now it was time for Rae. After a short conversation with Alice, she headed out and James headed upstairs. Originally, he was going to head up to Rae's room but as he walked around, he could smell that Rae had made his way into his own bedroom.

He headed over to the room, a smile coming over James' face as he saw her curled up in his bed, wearing one of his shirts. James tried to be quiet as he pulled off his own dirty shirt before making his way into the bed next to her. Slowly, his arms wrapped around the girl as he pulled her into his chest. His head dropped down against hers, taking a long moment to breathe in her scent.

With a satisfied sigh, James relaxed against his mate and the mattress, even closing his eyes to relax after a long today. While he did not allow himself to drift off to sleep, the man did take the time to just shut his brain down and feel Rae against his body.

It was actually quite a surprise that Raelynn had actually fallen asleep. She wasn't planning on that. She had originally thought that she'd just be lazy and just lay in the bed, but. It seemed that her body had other ideas in mind for her. Her wolf was content on just laying in bed anyways.

After drifting off for a bit, Raelynn started to stir. The first thing that started to come to her, was the familiar scent of James. Followed by the feel of something holding her around her waist. Then lastly, she felt the dampness from the rain on her. That alone caused a small groan to escape from the young female.

"You're cold and wet," Raelynn mumbled quietly, her voice barely a whisper. Still though, even though she wasn't a fan of how cool his skin was because of the rain, her instincts were telling her to snuggle more. Which she did, Rae pressed herself as close to James as she could as she tried to fall back asleep next to the new cooling pad that had wiggled its way into the bed she was laying in.

It was almost like Raelynn had succeeded, she was almost back asleep in her mate's arms when. She felt a drop of water fall from his hair and hit her forehead. Resulting in a small whine from Rae, and trying to push him away from her a little as she opened her eyes. "Go dry off, you're making the bed wet." She mumbled, then proceeded to act like a child by hogging all of the blankets as she wrapped them around herself and turned her back to James.

James let out a low laugh as Rae started to push him away. He wrapped his arms around her tighter, pulling her in for a moment before leaning down and pressing a kiss against her forehead. "You should go get a towel and dry me off." The man joked. Though, he then got up from the bed and made his way into the bathroom. He grabbed onto his towel, drying his hair and the rest of his body off. James removed his wet pants, now only wearing his boxers.

Slowly, the man made his way back into the bed, laying down besides Rae as he pulled her back into him. "Come, I should be warm now." He murmured as he managed to tug some of the blankets away from her grip to wrap around the both of them. Wrapping them up, his cool skin pressed against her again. He was no longer wet but his hair still had some dampness to it. James knew that he tended to give off heat but his body had not adjusted from being out of the cold and rain yet.

Still, James rewrapped his arms around Rae, pulling her close into his chest. He laid his head above hers, on the pillow as he closed his eyes. Resting for a while with Rae sounded perfect to him, especially if she was against his body. James shifted until he was comfortable, at which point, he closed his eyes and stayed still.

"So, why are you wearing my shirt?" James asked her, a knowing smile moving over his lips. He was more than sure he knew the answer to the question but he still wanted to ask. The man wanted to hear her say those words to him.

Redness immediately dusted over Raelynn's cheeks as soon as the little joke left James mouth. It didn't matter to her if it was a joke or not, the words were spoken and they had taken her mind to places she didn't want to think about. Wasn't ready to think about. An thankfully, it was dark in the room and she could also pull the blanket more over her head to keep herself hidden from the male's gaze.

The shifting of the mattress as James came back to the bed caught Rae's attention. She stayed still and patiently waited for him to stop moving. Wiggling her nose ever so slightly as she felt him steal some of her warm blankets.

Then, a small content sigh escaped past her lips. Unknown to her as her wolf was the one who was content. Rae, on the other hand, want mentally running ideas about why this was happening through her mind. An when the question escaped from James' lips, she couldn't help but to ever so slightly flinch. What should she say? It smelled like him so her wolf wanted her to wear it? Ha, not in this lifetime.

"I think my stomach just rumbled, I think I'll go raid the kitchen," Rae mumbled quietly, trying to wiggle her way out of the man's arms. Wanting to try and get some distance from him so that he couldn't pick up on the embarrassment she was feeling from the reason that she had borrowed one of his shirts. "Please let me go, I'm hungry." She mumbled quietly.

As Rae started to try to wiggle out of his arms, James gently started to 'shh' her. The man just held onto her tighter, still trying to be gentle with his mate while doing so. He pulled her in a bit closer into his chest and laid his head right on top of hers. "I know you're not hungry," James whispered to her gently. "You don't have to answer my question, it's okay."

All James wanted right now was to have his mate close to him, to feel her and to take in her scent. Plus, the male wanted to rest for a few more minutes. If Rae were to go downstairs, his wolf would surely make him follow. Both out of worry, and through having missed her throughout the day. James thought it was actually a nice feeling, having the need and desire to be with Rae. Especially since he was less frustrated since it appeared that Rae was trying to be good for him.

James kept his mate there with him for the next couple of minutes, despite what she said or tried to do about it. The man really only wanted one thing from her at that moment and he was determined to get it. Though, once those minutes passed by, James did loosen his grip on Rae, enough so to allow her to leave his arms and the bed if she desired it.

"Should we go down to the kitchen then?" James asked as he opened up his eyes to look up at Rae. A small smile came over his lips before he let out a small content hum. "We can eat whatever you want."

Even with James trying to get her to relax, Raelynn still struggled for a few more moments before giving up. Her muscles relaxed as she let out a small sigh. She ended up just laying still for James as he held her. Her bright green eyes staying focused on the wall that was across from her as she felt James getting more comfortable on the bed.

The silence in the room seemed to slowly grow. Informing Rae that the rain must have stopped outside. The thunder that was once booming outside now sounding miles away on the odd occasion that it echoed out this way. Otherwise, the storm was completely gone and they were just alone in the dark. Only the sounds of their breathing filling the room.

"I'm not really that hungry anymore," Raelynn mumbled quietly as she slowly rolled over in James' arms so that she was not looking at his chest instead of the wall. Then, slowly, she shifted so that she was being propped up on an arm. Her gaze looking down at James as he was still laying on the bed.

"How was the patrol?" She asked, trying to get his attention on something other than her. Wanting to see if she could get some sort of information about things out of James without seeming too obvious. "Are the lights working again? Some guy names Trever or Travis came over to try and fix them, but I came up here before finding out the outcome."

James looked back down at Rae, opening up his eyes now. He was a little surprised that she backtracked on wanting to get food so quickly. Though, he supposed she had only brought it up to get out of the question he had proposed in the first place. James had not thought it that bad, but he must have been wrong about that assumption. Nonetheless, the man was fine with forgoing food for now. As long as they ate before bed.

"Patrol?" James said as he propped himself up on the bed a bit. He looked back at her, a light smile on his face. The wolf in him was loving the image before him. Rae, wrapped up in his shirt, laying in bed with him. It caused the animal to start whining inside of him, beginning to want more than what they were getting. But, at least the wolf was content enough that he simmered down easily when James pushed back on that notion.

"It went well. Just going around the land, nothing much happened today as far as that. I did end up getting into town before I was called back, so I was able to buy a few things but not everything that I wanted to." James told her honestly. He felt no reason to hold back on that information. "I actually got a few things for the house that are downstairs." His smile grew a bit, wondering if she remembered their conversation that morning. Perhaps that was why she was asking?

"And all of the lights are working now. The power is back to the pack so there is no need to worry," James said, deciding to be brief over that situation in particular. "How was your day? I heard you and Alice watched a couple of movies before the power went out." He asked, his curiosity beginning to pip up. "Did you two do anything else?"

A small sigh escaped from Rae as she relaxed a little bit more. She had originally been a little worried. The alpha of her old pack kept things from most of the packmates unless they were in the upper ranks or scouts. So, just hearing that things were fine, really helped the young female feel more comfortable.

Then, a look of confusion appeared on her face as James mentioned town. She had completely forgotten about that. "What did you need to buy?" Raelynn asked, her head tilting to the side ever so slightly as she listened to James. He hadn't mentioned needing anything earlier. He had just told her that he'd be gone on patrol for a few hours.

Slowly, a look of remembrance appeared on Rae's face. He did say that he'd get her something this morning. Right? Moving so that she was sitting on her knees, Rae looked at James a bit more awake then she'd been. "What'd you get? Did you get me something?" She asked, her hands resting on her bare knees as she looked at James expectingly. Wanting to know what he had bought.

As James brought up her day, Rae couldn't help but to slightly fidget and look away from him. "Uh, my day was okay." She mumbled quietly, then looked down at her hands as she fidgeted ever so slightly. Her bottom lip slowly going between her teeth as she gently bit down on it. She wanted to lie to James and say that nothing else happened. That she had gone to bed once the power went out, but. Rae had a feeling he'd be able to tell that she was lying to him. Their wolves would know.

"I made Alice upset," Rae mumbled quietly, not sure if what she was about to say would make James mad as well but she figured honesty would be best for now. "When the power went out, Alice went downstairs to try and fix the lights. She told me to stay, but I didn't listen." Rae couldn't help but fidget a little, scared that James would be mad at her. "I went to look for candles, but I couldn't find anything to light them. So, I went downstairs to ask Alice, and then she snapped at me for moving. I'm sorry, I should have listened." Rae mumbled quietly. She kept her gaze lowered, not wanting to see what James was thinking as she spoke to him.

The alpha went quiet as Rae told him how her day had really gone. He didn't not know what to say about the matter, especially since something about her story felt off to him. It was true that mates had an extra level of understanding one another, that it truly was difficult to lie to each other. To James, her words felt to be both honest and a lie. Though, did it matter? James was not sure that it did. Rae was walking around the house, for what reason, he was sure that candles almost we're surely not it. But, never less, she was caught and reprimanded by Alice.

James looked up at Rae, letting out a sigh as he did so. He was having a good night so far, so he didn't want to ruin it by lecturing her. But... he would say something. "I need you to be good and to do as you're told, little one. Be my good girl. No more walking around the house by yourself for now, both for your safety and to prove to us that you're not up to something."

Sitting up, James leaned over and pressed a gentle kiss against her forehead. He was hoping that his words would not upset Rae too much, After all, his wolf had urged him to be as gentle about it as possible, but his human side made it clear that something needed to be said. He wrapped his arms around her loosely again and pressed his face against her neck for a long moment before slowly pulling away and sliding out of the bed.

Walking over to her side of the mattress, James reached out a hand to her, wanting his little mate to take it. "I had to get some supplies from the town today for the pack. Nothing too major." A smile moved across his lips at the thought of his next words. "I might have gotten my mate something as well. Though, we would need to go downstairs to see what it is. Come with me, Little one." James smiled widely at Rae, clearly pleased with what was about to come next.

A small sigh and a nod of her head were all that Rae could offer. She wasn't happy about losing her freedom, but she knew it needed to be done. She needed to be smarter when it came to finding a way to help her friend. She needed time and trust from these wolves. She needed them to think that they had fully broken her, that Rae would be the good girl that James wanted her to be. That she wouldn't go against them and do something utterly stupid.

"Okay." Raelynn mumbled quietly as she closed her eyes. Her hands moving to loosely hold onto James sides as he buried his face into her neck. Her eyes closing as her wolf took in the comfort of having him so close to her. His cool skin under her hands send a small shiver to was over her body. "Does that include when you're home?" Rae asked quietly as she opened her eyes and frowned as she watched James climbing out of the bed. The craving to have him closer to her once more was almost unbearable. Her wolf screamed for her to reach out and pull him back to her, but her human side held back as she watched the older male curiously.

Slowly, Raelynn's heart rate picked up as she listened to James. Her curiosity and her excitement on what he could have gotten for her sending mixed signals to run through her. She knew she should be upset about what he had just said, but the possibility of getting a present was pushing the thought away.

Reaching out, Rae gently grasped onto his hand and scooted to the edge of the bed to stand up. "Show me." She murmured, grinning as she tried to pull him towards the door faster. A small grin appearing on her lips as she got James to walk a little bit faster to where her possible surprise might be.

"Yes, little one. I think it would be best if you were to stay close to me while I am home." James said, looking at her curiously. Was there anything that she would need to do without him? He did not think so. His human side was still worried that she would try to escape, or worse, find the prisoner that he was keeping. But there was a truth that he could tell... "My wolf cries when I am not near you, still. He desires you too much for me to not be in the same room with you when in the same house."

A deep chuckle left James as he watched the woman in front of him get so excited about the idea of a gift. He enjoyed having her pull him through the area, trying to get him to move faster through the house. A part of him wanted to slow down, just to tease the girl a bit more. Though, his own wolf was also getting impatient. The creature whining as it just wanted to please Rae.

So, James hurried down the stairs with her and led her to the dining room where James has left a few bags out. "We might have to come up with a couple of rules for these items as I wouldn't want you using some of this while in the house." The man gave her a bit of a wink before looking through the bag to check what it was before setting it all in front of Rae.

One bag was full of books of various genres, lengths, and authors. In truth, James knew very little about the stories he was providing but nonetheless, he hoped she would enjoy them. Another bag was just full of various art supplies. James was rather sure that would be enough to get her started. They could always keep getting more if she needed it. The last bag had a few spraypaint bottles, which Rae had requested. Originally, James had not been intending to give her so much at once but his wolf just completely caved in. At least this would keep her preoccupied...

A sense of accomplishment washed through Rae as James moved faster through the house with her. She was curious and excited to find out what he had gotten her. She was never really given new things before, always given hand me downs or was allowed to borrow from someone in her old pack. So, this was all new to her. She was getting something where she was the first owner of something. It's exciting for her.

As they made their way to the dining room, Rae couldn't help but freeze. There was more than one bag on the table. Her bright green eyes looked up at James warily for a moment. This seemed like a lot of stuff, surely, he didn't mean to get her so much. Right? Nervously, Rae bit her bottom lip as she came closer as her mate started to take things out of the bag. Her eyes trailing his hand's movements each time he pulled something new out of a bag.

"All of this is really for me?" Raelynn asked, glancing up at James warily. Scare that he'd tell her that he was joking and this was stuff for the pups or something. Then, she'd glance back towards the new books and art supplies that were on the table and started to pick some up and examine them. Her lips slightly parted in awe as she looked through everything. Her mind forgetting that James was still in the room as she picked up some of the books and started to read what they were about. "Wow." She breathed out quietly, almost in a trance like a state as she read through the summaries of the books then went to look through the colors of paint that she was given to use.

It wasn't til Rae had looked through the rest of the paints and art supplies that she remembered that James was still next to her. A light shade of pink slowly dusted over her cheeks before she turned and looked up towards the male. "Thank you." She said quietly, then quickly wrapped her arms around his neck as she leaned up and gave him a quick kiss to his lips before turning back to the books and art supplies. "If I can't use the spray paint inside, where can I use them?" She asked, remembering that she wasn't allowed outside on her own yet.

"Well I didn't know what you wanted exactly and I don't want you to get bored while you're stuck in the house." James said as he gave her a little shrug. He didn't intend to get her so much but his wolf really did end up taking control of the shopping trip. Though, he hoped that this all would keep his girl happy for a while. And, even better if she were to stop snooping around or worry about her friend in his basement... Not that she knew that was where he was being kept.

"I was thinking that you and I could head out into the backyard tomorrow when I come back from patrol." He glanced over at Rae, watching her carefully as those words left his lips. In truth, he was a bit worried about bringing Rae out of the house. But, he knew that it was cruel to keep her locked up in his home for too long. Wolves needed nature and fresh air. Besides, Rae was certainly being better than she had originally. And at some point, James needed to give her the chance to keep proving herself.

"We wouldn't go too far away from the house or the rest of the pack, but we could head out and into the woods a little. I thought that you might like to be outside for a bit." Besides, if she were to run away, James was rather sure he could catch her. And, if she escaped, his pack would go out looking for Rae. After all, the girl had no idea where they were or how to get back to her own pack. Plus, would she really try to leave knowing that he would kill her friend? He doubted it.

James headed over to Rae, glancing down at all of the supplies. He then slowly moved in, pulling her back gently into his chest. His wolf just kept whining for Rae and it was impossible to ignore. The alpha dropped his head down, laying his chin against her. "That should give you room to work without breathing in too much of the toxins."

Small butterflies filled Raelynn's stomach as James started to speak about going outside. It's been a little over a week since she's been kidnapped and she was already missing the sun. How warm it felt against her skin, the way the wind blew her hair around and not to mention the earthy scent of the forest. Just thinking of going for a run caused a satisfied sigh to escape from Rae.

"Do you really mean that?" Rae asked as she closed her eyes. Her tone was quiet as she relaxed against the bare chest of her captor. "You really want to allow me outside?" Her teeth gently nibbled on her bottom lip as she hoped he was telling the truth. That James wasn't playing with her mind and really wanted her to see some of the packs land.

"Can we go for a run as well?" Raelynn asked as she slowly turned around so that she was facing the taller male. Her arms moving to gently rest against his bare chest as her green eyes searched his dark ones. "Please? I promise I'll be good." Rae leaned up and pressed a few light kisses along James jaw, hoping to entice him to allow her to shift. "I won't cause any trouble for anyone while you're gone either." Rae moved her light kisses from his jaw and down towards his neck. Allowing for a few soft nips to follow as well.

Slowly, Rae allowed for her hands to trail down James chest. Her eyes still on his as she allowed for her hands to gently sink under the waistband of his boxers. "Please, we don't even have to run very far. We can just run back here after playing with the art supplies for a bit." Leaning forward, Raelynn nuzzled the side of James neck at the same time she brushed her fingers against his member.

Then, after a moment Rae slid down to her knees. Her eyes looking up at James innocently as she moved her one hand around his member. "I'll be good, I promise." She told him as she started to slowly tease him.
