Tristan saw her look at him and thought that she was checking him out. The thought made him smile. He liked that she was checking him out, and he was kind of surprised by that. "Well, I try to be," he replied.

He smiled, enjoying that she was complimenting him on his ability to get a scholarship. They walked on at a casual place. He had to admit that he didn't want to rush back to apartment. He wanted to stay with her as long as he could. When they reached her door, he stood in front of her. "Yeah, but I'm dropping you off," he said. He didn't want to leave, but he wasn't going to push her boundaries. "And I'm glad it's you."

Elena chuckled lightly, raising an eyebrow at him "you're glad that I live here?" She asked him, her face creasing up in to the laugh as she shook her head softly. "you're a charmer Tristan, and you know it" she commented, running her hand into her hair. She hadn't really thought about what she said. She hoped she hadn't been too forward.

She could tell from the way he stood between her and the door that he didn't want to have to go, and Lena had to admit it felt nice to be wanted. Although she wasn't planning on inviting him upstairs. She didn't want to give him the wrong idea and she had a lot of stuff to get done. "thanks for walking me home. Goodnight Tristan" she said softly.

Tristan smiled and shrugged. “How do you think I got to spend time with you if I wasn’t a charmer?” he teased. He honestly couldn’t help himself. He enjoyed spending his time with her, and he was just being himself. He also liked that she was flirting with him a bit. She seemed nervous in doing so, but he was happy that she wanted to with him.

Tristan smiled. “Hey, I would be glad to walk you anywhere you want to go,” he said. He stepped to the side wishing that they had more time together, but he wasn’t going to hold her up. He was tempted to hug her, but he didn’t know how she would respond so he stuffed his hands in his pockets. “Goodnight, Elena,” he said with warm smile.

Elena paused for a second as he stepped aside, watching him for a second. "Yeah uh, goodnight then" she repeated with a nervous laugh before stepping forward. Had she been expecting a goodnight kiss or something? Why did she feel like he was going to kiss her... Is that what she wanted? She could feel her cheeks burning as she swiped her key card and steeped in to the dorms. She waited until she knew she was out of sight of Tristan before she let out a loud sigh, a smile brightening across her face.

She unlocked her dorm door and stepped inside. She could see Kayla sitting g on her bed reading a book, her side of the room as messy as ever. "Where have you been?" She asked quickly. Lena glanced at her, a little surprised that she actually spoke to her first. "uhh went to the library, and then your friend Tristan met me in the food hall, we ate together" she told her with a smile, sitting down on the bed. "He's a really sweet guy actually, I hadn't been so sure when he first came in. He seemed a bit-" Elena began, falling silent when Kayla held her hand up to her. "Don't go there girl, he's bad news." Kayla told her firmly. Elena bit on her lip nervously wondering what Kayla meant and her mind began to wonder back to what Tristan had told her earlier about Kayla. "He just uses girls, I know from experience" she snapped "hell use you until he gets bored and moves on- so e of us get lucky it's only a one night thing.. but he's cheated on basically every girlfriend he's ever had" she informed her.

Elena felt her heart drop in to her stomach as she sat listening to Kayla, and all of the other things she had to say- that he abused alcohol, sold drugs.. Kayla had once even heard he gave his ex a black eye. The brunnette sighed leaning her back against the wall. Of course it had been too good to be true. "well thanks for letting me know" she said, her voice small and meek as she climbed under the covers of her bed.

Tristan went back to his dorm. He was glad that his roommate was gone. He was most likely out at a party that Tristan wasn’t even tempted to go to. He felt like he should have at least kissed Elena’s cheek or something, but he was nervous and scared that he would over step his boundaries with her and make her stay away from him. He sighed, throwing himself on his bed.

He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He groaned seeing that it was Kayla asking to hang out. Not wanting to hang out with her and get lost in thoughts of her roommate. He also wasn’t in the mood to party. So instead of replying he just left the message on read.

The following day, Elena got up and got [/url=https://pin.it/4cgfrhzdmx4i4i]dressed[/url] still feeling a little confused about everything that Kayla had told her. She ahd really thought that Tristan was telling her the truth about his scholarship and everything, she felt like a bit of an idiot. She knew she should have followed her gut from when he first walked in to the room. She sighed and gathered up her things before heading toward her class.

As she crossed the campus, she noticed a heavily tattooed guy coming against her and her heart I'mmediately began to race she dropped her eyes to the ground, afraid to look up for fear it was Tristan. She didn't really want to talk to him.

Tristan had gotten ready and was goin to head to the food hall to grab a cup of coffee before going to his first class. He looked over and saw the girl that was on his mind the whole night. He watched as Elena ducked her head, not looking at him. He was confused by this, but he still caught up with her. “Hey,” he said. “How’s your morning going?”

He hadn’t really planned on running her this early, but he wasn’t going to deny spending more time with her. “You wanna go with me to get some coffee?” he asked, hoping that she would agree to spend some time with her.

Elena glanced up when she heard a voice speaking next to her. She felt her cheeks flushing as she let her hair fall in to her face. "Yeah good" she said quietly before picking up the pace a little as she walked. She had really thought she might get away with not running in to him unless Kayla brought him to the apartment. She sighed softly, trailing her eyes back down to her shoes.

"No can do, I'm already late, sorry" she told him curtly, her hand gripping her bag tightly. "I'll see you around Tristan" she told him before taking off xquickly. She could feel her heart racing and almost felt like crying. She barely knew this guy and yet she was upset that he didn't turn out to be who she thought he was... Lena really didn't understand feelings.

Tristan looked at her unsure about how she was acting. Something was up, and he caught up with her. He didn’t know what had happened, but he was determined to fix whatever it was. He didn’t like the thought of her upset at him. It just didn’t sit right with him. “Is something wrong?” he asked.

He tried to get a look at her face, but she was looking at everything but him. He knew that it had to be something about him. “ Did I do something wrong?” Tristan asked, wishing he would look up at him. When she tried to step around her, he stepped in her path. “Come on talk to me. Tell me what’s up.” He knew he was being forward and stubborn, but when was he not that? He grabbed her shoulder, trying to get her to look at him.

Elena ploughed on down the quad hoping she didn't bump in to anything she was so focused on not having to look at him she could barely see where she was going. "Nothing's wrong,I'm fine" she muttered,just about dodging another girl who was passing. She ignored how follow up question, hoping he might just give in and leave her be. Elena had never been very good at confrontation and she avoided it at all costs.

Lena tried her best to step around him and move away but he was proving stubborn. It wasn't until he grabbed her shoulder that she really had enough. "Tristan I just want to get to class" she snapped, looking up at him, her face a mix of anger and upset. She cleared her throat softly trying to calm herself down as she shook her head. "look... You're just, you're not what I need in my life right now. I don't need any trouble okay? I just want to get on with school" she told him quietly but firmly.

Tristan looked at her in shock, not sure how to react. He knew he was a partier, but he never considered himself trouble. Then he wondered who told her that he was trouble. “And what makes you think that I’m trouble?” he asked. He had to know. He knew that there were rumors floating around about him, but there has always been rumors since his mom died. He had learned to ignore them and not add fuel to the fire with it. Tristan had hoped that Elena would have been confident enough to know that the rumors weren’t true.

Tristan looked at her noticing that she was shrinking from him. He didn’t want to scare her or bully her. “Listen and trust me, Elena. Do you really think that I’m trouble? What have I done to indicate that?” Tristan asked. He was trying to get through her. “I know I’m a lot of things but I avoid trouble at all costs. I wouldn’t have gotten my scholarship if I had gotten into trouble.”

(sorry I've been travelling around Europe for charity the last couple of days, couldn't reply!)

Elena bit on her lip nervously, she didn't like this. She could tell he was a little shocked that she had found out- did he really think she was that naive? Although she was starting to feel like she was given that she hadn't seen through it at all in all the time she spent with him the day before. She could feel her body wrapping around itself as she showed away from him. "I just -i don't know Tristan. I don't have time for all of this I need to get to class" she told him, her voice meek as she repositioned her bag on her shoulder.

She took a step or two backwards, her eyes still watching him before she turned to walk off. It upset her that he still tried to talk his way out of it all, instead of just being straight with her. Maybe he just saw her as an easy target, she wasn't exactly skilled in this whole romance area maybe he thought he could use that to his advantage. She sighed softly, feeling her heart falling in to her stomach- she had actually really liked him.

Tristan sighed, knowing that he wasn't going to get anywhere. He was frustrated and wanted to know who had told her those eyes. He watched her walk away. He was hurt. Tristan knew it was fast, but there was something about her that just attracted him to her. He liked her more than he thought was reasonable.

He went to his first class in a sour mood. He barely paid attention to the professor and was trying to figure out who had told Elena those lies. He had taken her to her dorm. Who would she have seen that would want to spread those lies about him? Then he remembered that her roommate could have. Wouldn't have been her first time.

Elena went to her classes, but her mind was never fully on what she should be learning. She kept thinking about Tristan and wondering how she hadn't seen through him at all, she had always considered herself a good judge of character. Elena realised she needed to get her mind off of it, she was only making herself feel worse dwelling on it.

After thinking about it for a second, she leaned over to the guy sitting next to her. She remembered him from their oeitation to the college and he had been nice- he always had hilarious stories about his boyfriend. "Hey you wanna grab some lunchafter this?" She asked kindly, she could do with making some friends. Elena smiled when he agreed, glad to be able to talk to someone.

Tristan walked to the lunch room, trying to find Kayla. He was going to have a conversation with her. He didn't know what it was going to change, but he needed to get it through Kayla's head that she needed to accept that she shouldn't spread lies about him and that he wasn't interested in her like that. There was a time that he wished that he was attracted to Kayla, but he had grown to accept that he could only be friends with her.

"I need to talk you," he growled from behind Elena's roommate. She turned and gave him a smile of pure innocence. When she openned her mouth to say something, he shook his head. "You are going to stop lying to people about me, and you are going to go to Elena and tell her the truth," he demanded.

Elena sat eating a quinoa salad as she chatted to her class mate about their course and how difficult they were finding it, she was glad to feel her mind drifting away from the abrupt end to her brief dabble in romance. She was laughing at something that had been said when she was distracted by the muscular, tattooed man she saw storming through the break room. She fell quiet unable to peel her eyes off of him.

"What a looker, you know him?" She heard her class mate ask, as she simply nodded slowly watching the scene unfold before her. She felt bad, Tristan had obviously realised that Kayla gave her a heads up and he didn't seem too impressed by it. She stood up slowly, instructing her new friend to come with her as she moved towards her roommate. "Everything okay Kayla?" She asked, plonking her lunch tray down on the table across from her. Her heart was racing in her chest, she never really stood up to people like this, but after everything she had told her last night she didn't want Tristan to take anything out on her roommate.

Tristan waited for Kayla to say something that assured him he was going to change her story and actually tell the truth. Kayla just smiled at him. He glared back at her. He knew that he was getting no where with Elena’s roommate. He wished that Kayla would accept that they weren’t going to happen, no matter what she tries to do. It was mostly tied to her pulling stunts like this.

Tristen looked up when he heard a tray hit the table. He looked at Elena. He froze. He could see the anger in her eyes, and he wished that she was happy to see him. He got up because he could just imagine what she would think over this.

Elena didn't even want to look at Tristan, she found it difficult, especially with how much she hated confrontation. Instead she just stared through him, waiting until he walked away. She could feel her heart racing in her chest, terrified he would try to argue or even simply stare her down. Elena didn't know how long she could hold out without becoming a nervous wreck. She sighed as he walked away, but she could feel anger and frustration radiating off of him.

"Are you okay?" She asked Kayla softly, offering her a smile. She really didn't want Tristan giving her trouble simply for telling Lena the truth. She chatted with her friend and Kayla for a little while, caving in and agreeing to go to a party with them tonight, just for a little bit.

Tristan was frustrated for the rest of the day. His friends had talked him to go to a party. As much as he told himself that, he shouldn’t get too worked up over Kayla’s stunts. He didn’t know why he hung out with her anymore besides the fact that he went to high school with her. His friends that he made here and the ones that he went to high school have asked him why he still bothered with her. He always said that she was there for him when his mom died, but she wasn’t the only one who had been.

He walked into the party with his friend Johnny. He was one of his closest friends that he went to kindergarten through high school with. Johnny was about as carefree as Tristan could be on a good day. He glanced around the place. He figured that Kayla would be here, and he was going to avoid her as much as possible. He looked up and saw an ex girlfriend. She had cheated on him several times. Tristan had broken up with her and after awhile eventually forgave her and became somewhat friends. He didn’t really trust her that much, but they were young and he couldn’t hold a grudge his whole life.

“Hey, Lynn,” he said when she smiled at him. She smiled up at him. They got in a bit of a conversation with Johnny piping in every so often. He looked up and saw Elena walk in with Kayla.

Lena had been nervous about this party, long before they even started getting ready to come out. Kayla had insisted she borrow on of her dresses and Elena felt very out of place in it. She kept pulling the Hem, feeling it was too short but that would simply expose her chest more. She bit on her lip nervously, not even able to meet anyone's gaze as she entered the party. Willingly she took the drink that was thrust toward her and took a sip, her face scrunching up slightly at how strong the taste of the liquor was. Elena had never drank before and that wasn't what she was expecting. She could feel her cheeks flushing as Danny and Kayla laughed at her, and just to prove them wrong she knocked the rest of the liquid back her throat.

After a few minutes of conversation, Elena spotted Tristan across the room talking to two people she didn't know and quickly averted her eyes. She didn't really want to have to talk to him, she just hoped she could enjoy her night. After another drink Elena agreed to go dance with them for a bit and headed towards the packed living room where everybody was moving to the music.
