Sadie was ready to graduate high school and go off on her own to college, a few hours away. It was nerve-wracking, of course, to be an unclaimed omega moving away from her parents but she was excited to begin her new life. of course she was, she couldn't help it. She would have so much more freedom once she moved in a couple of months, just a week after she turned nineteen. As her parents' only daughter, she knew they were just as apprehensive as she couldn't just stay under their roof forever. Sadie had talked to them both and she thought Henry was probably having the hardest time with it. he was an alpha that wouldn't be close to his pup anymore. Of course, he was but she was sure they would all be fine once they got used to the differences.

She frowned as she left her bedroom in a pair of sleep shorts and a tank top. She knew her mom was likely out shopping since it was early on a Saturday, she always went out then because people tended to sleep in on the weekend. "Dad?" She called out as she started down the stairs. Sadie spent most of her time studying now, working on preparing for her last few weeks of school before she would finally be ready for graduation.

Shrugging to herself, Sadie wondered if Henry had gone out with her mother. It was unusual but she didn't think much of it as she headed into the kitchen to pour herself a bowl of cereal. She sat at the breakfast, only to look up when she heard the basement door opening. Someplace that only her father was ever allowed.

"Hi, Daddy! I thought you went with mom," she said with a small laugh as she took her first bite of cereal. "Do you have the day off?"

Henry hadn't expected to come to the conclusion that he was going to trap his daughter in his basement, to keep her from leaving him. Her mother and he had both begged her to consider universities that were closer, but she had insisted on one hours away. It was something Henry had tried to come to terms with, but he couldn't. Over the past few weeks, he had been working around the clock in the basement, though. Soundproofing it and creating her nest. He had taken a large hammock and hung it in the corner of the basement and filled it with some of her blankets and pillows. He had been stealing a few out of the dirty laundry, one or two at a time. Her nest was the only kind hearted gesture she'd find in the basement. Henry had installed restraints and chains on the wall and a large cage that encased her nest, with solid iron bars, for extra security. The last thing he needed was her getting to the door and banging on it, alerting her mother.

Closing the basement door behind him, Henry looked up at Sadie as she leaned against the counter, a bowl of cereal in her hand. He nervously wrung his hands together, knowing everything downstairs was ready and now would be the perfect time. Her mother wasn't home, she wouldn't be for a while... "Yeah, I've got the day off." It was selfish of him to want to keep Sadie home, from going off to college and starting her own life, finding her own alpha. He couldn't swallow the idea of his little pup belonging to someone else. He couldn't allow it. "You have studying to do today?" He placed his hands down on the counter and raised an eyebrow in her direction. "I figured we could spend some time together today? After you finish your breakfast, I wanna show you what I've been building on in the basement." A little smirk played on the corner of his mouth, no matter how badly he tried to just smile warmly at her. No one had been allowed in the basement for as long as they had lived there. It was Henry's own space in the house.

Sadie hadn't even noticed the missing blankets over the last few weeks. Her face was either buried in a book or she was doing something boring like taking a shower or eating. Her attention was always focused on her schoolwork, trying like hell to get the best grades possible so that she could have the best shot at a scholarship. If she did well, it meant that her parents wouldn't have to put out as much money to pay for college and that wasn't something she wanted them to have to do.

She continued to munch on her cereal, nodding when Henry declared that he had the day off. As much as she wanted to spend the day with him watching movies or something, Sadie knew that she would end up regretting it if she didn't focus on her maths homework. But the excitement that radiated off of Henry, Sadie simply didn't have the heart to completely turn his offer away. She gave a quick nod of her head, swallowing before she could speak. "I've got to study for my math final but that can wait for a bit, I suppose," she agreed, trying to ignore the offputting feeling that had settled in the pit of her stomach. She couldn't remember ever seeing anyone else go down in the basement for as long as they had lived here. That must be all it was, Sadie reasoned with herself. It felt wrong because she knew the basement was his space.

"But yeah, I'll come down so you can show me what you've built first. Don't tell mom though. She'll be upset that I got to see it first," Sadie teased as she finished off her cereal. She was quick to rinse out the bowl and spoon before setting them both in the nearly empty dishwasher. She closed it as she straightened up before turning to Henry. "Alright, let's go," she said, all too eager to head over to the basement door. Sadie had convinced herself that whatever Henry wanted to show her had to be exciting if he was allowing her down in the basement. She moved in front of him at his urging, thinking nothing of it as she made her way down the steps.

Henry watched Sadie eat every bite of her cereal, almost counting how many times she brought the spoon up to her lips before dropping it back into the milk. He was nervous, if one tiny thing went wrong... He could lose everything. But he was confident, the basement was completely locked down. It was an evil plan, keeping his omega chained up in the basement, but it was for her benefit. An omega didn't need to go to college or get a career, all she should want to do is please her alpha. And right now that was him.

"Well them cmon," Henry smiled, rubbing his hands together as he led her over to the basement door. "we should have time, your mom is shopping. She'll be gone for hours," he laughed as he sat his hand on the doorknob, before slowly pulling the creaking door open. Stepping back, out of the way, so Sadie could go first, Henry cleared his throat, "it's a pretty big surprise, so close your eyes, okay? I'll help you down the stairs, so don't worry about that." Sadie didn't need to catch a glimpse of the cage or the nest on her way down the stairs. Any little pup would get scared and hightail it back up the steps. Henry needed to make sure she was inside the cage before she would see any of it.

He held his daughters hand as they made their way down to the basement. Each step groaned as they headed down, and when they got to the last step, Henry brought his hands up to cover Sadie's eyes himself. His large hands cupped over hers, nervous that she might try to peek. "Been working on it for awhile..." He whispered as he walked Sadie into the open door of the cage. "A few more few sweetie," Henry smiled as he stayed by the cell door, waiting until she was just a few inches away from her new nest. Without much second thought, Henry quickly grabbed the door and slammed it shut, the lock falling into place. It was done, there was no going back now.

    "Open your eyes."

There was an uncomfortable knot forming in the pit of her stomach with each step that Sadie took down the stairs. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end and she wondered why. She had never felt uncomfortable with her father before and she thought it was silly. It had to be because she was doing something that previously thought of as wrong. Chewing on her bottom lip as she hit the bottom of the steps, Sadie couldn't help but frown as Henry covered her already closed eyes. She was wondering what was going on but still, she continued to walk toward the direction that he was urging her in. Sadie breathed a small, relaxed sigh as his hands fell away from her. She took several more steps, only to jump and freeze in place when the cage door flew into place.

Sadie's brows pulled together as her eyes flew open. She was facing the hammock in the corner of the room, something that made her heart swell at first. It looked comfortable and she could already recognize several of her blankets, Henry had been making a nest for her? It was probably to help her relax from all the stress of her studies. Sadie started to turn, having tried to convince herself of that. But when she caught sight of the bars, Sadie's heart sank.

"D-Dad?" Her voice was a hoarse whisper as she turned to face Henry. The colour drained from her face as she looked up to him, realizing all too quickly that she was locked in a cage. "What's.. what's going on? I don't like this," she whimpered as she took a step toward him. "I want to leave now," her voice wavered as she neared him. "Please."

Henry stayed a few feet away from the cage, his eyes glued to her. For the first few seconds he could almost see how excited the nest made her, a small hint of her scent sweetening before it soured. "You're staying in there, omega." Henry shook his head, crossing his arms over his chest tightly. He knew how selfish his reasoning was going to sound, but he was doing it for her well being. Going off to college would be a huge mistake. His pup couldn't leave him. "You're not going to college." If only Sadie had listened to him before. He had tried on many occasions to get her to change her mind about going off to university. Even trying to comprise by asking for a closer option, but no. She just had to want to go so far away from him. Why did she want freedom so badly? Why did she want to be alone, away from her family, away from him?

It just wasn't something he could cope with. He'd rather have her trapped in his basement, hidden away from even her mother than be without her. He'd keep her down here as long as he needed to, until she would obey and submit to him.

"No more studying, no more telling your family you're too busy for them, no more talking about moving away..." Henry stepped up to the cage door and peered at her through the bars. "You'll stay inside of her until I think you're ready to come out, little omega." Henry wasn't sure how far he was willing to take this, how far he was willing to push... He glanced up at the ceiling when he heard creaking overhead and brushed it off, noting it was too quite of a noise for footsteps. Leaning against the bars, Henry ran his fingers along the iron and sighed, staring at her with his piercing blue eyes, "you brought this on yourself."

Sadie's panic was only continued to grow when Henry told her that she was staying right where she was. The thought of staying here might have almost been welcoming if it wasn't for the little rant that he started to go on. Her blood ran cold as she swallowed, opening and closing her mouth several times over in an effort to respond to him. She shuddered as she shook her head, taking another, tentative step forward. She was hoping that she could reason with Henry. There was no way he could actually plan on keeping her down here. What would her mother say?

"I-I.. I can go to a college closer to home. That way mom and you can come out more often. Or I can come home to visit on the weekends," Sadie reasoned, trying to ignore the bar that Henry leaned against. She huffed as she crossed her arms, trying to comfort herself. "Isn't that what mom and you wanted anyway?" She spoke, making sure to keep her voice lowered as she spoke to him. She was forcing herself to calm, hoping her pheromones would have the same effect on Henry.

"Mom's not going to want me down here. She's going to want my help with the housework and she won't want to have to come down here to get my help," Sadie pointed out after a moment. She still hadn't realized that her mom had no clue about the cage that Henry had built for her. She cleared her throat as she looked up to him. "Besides, there's no bathroom down here... I can't just go in the corner or something!" Sadie was close enough to the bars that she could reach out and wrap her fingers around them.

"And my heat's coming up a few days after the end of my exams. I can't just stay down here during that!"

Henry let his eyes fall to the floor as Sadie started throwing every reason in the world why she couldn't stay down here. "You already had the chance to compromise with me, baby, and you didn't." Henry sighed, tilting his head back up to look at her face. He stepped away from the cage and let his arms fall back by his sides. Seeing her in there did make him feel a certain way he had suspected it would. Blood was rushing to his cock, seeing his omega pup locked away in a cage. He had a sudden thought that maybe he made it a little too spacious.

"Mommy's not going to need your help. If that was a concern of yours, why would you be leaving her to go to college?" He tilted his head and dwindled on the idea of not telling her that her mother was clueless. If she thought her mother was in on his plan to keep her locked away, it might make Sadie less likely to try and escape. "I'll take care of you during your heat, don't worry, Sadie. Don't worry about any of it."

Henry was cut off hearing a door shut loudly upstairs. "Shit," he muttered, backing away from the cage, his eyes still trained on Sadie. "Remember, it's up to you how long you stay down here. I'll be back." Henry smirked, before turning and hurrying up the basement stairs. He decided he'd let her mother find Sadie's room empty and once they dealt with the cops and all the fuss, he'd return to begin training her on how to be an obedient omega.

Sadie's shoulders sagged as she shook her head. "I know I didn't but I just... I didn't realize how important it was for me to do what you wanted me to. But can't we compromise now? I realize I need to! I'll go to the one that's like an hour away and we can visit every weekend. Even if I'm coming back home and you're coming out to see me. And you know I'll be safe. You've taught me how to be safe, Dad," she tried again, her frown only intensifying when Henry pointed out that her reasoning hadn't been very good at all. Her head dropped forward, resting against the bars of the cage.

There was something off about the way that Henry had offered to take care of her. It made her shudder and back away from the cage in an effort to warm herself. When she heard her mother moving around upstairs, Sadie had grown hopeful. Surely she would be able to reason with her mom, she had always been close to her mom.

Sadie glanced around the cage before she retreated to the nest. She hesitated for a further moment before she tugged one of the blankets out of the hammock before she wrapped it around her shoulders. She laid down in the hammock before closing her eyes. She buried her face into the nest, letting out a small sob as she let her emotions get to her. She had no clue how she was supposed to get out of here and continue on the work that she had been so much focus and attention into. The thought of losing everything that she had worked so hard toward was terrifying her to even think about it.

Henry had to play the part of a shocked, grief stricken father. He had been the one home when she meant 'missing', and hadn't heard even one footstep. Admitting all of that to the police had been easy, even forcing tears to his eyes hadn't been very difficult. He expected the hardest part would have been how he'd feel when his wife looked in on her daughter's room and found it empty, the bed disheveled and the window completely open. As if that had been her method of escape.

But it didn't even hurt when for days, Kelsey just moped around their home and cried over their poor, little lost pup. If anything, it started to get on his nerves by the second day. Wrapping his arms around his wife, he tried to console her, trying to tell her Sadie must just be with friends. It was probably the stress of her studies and college and she couldn't handle it, so she ran. He promised Kelsey they'd find their pup and, for his own bit of peace, he forced her to leave the house with some of her friends. To try and relax.

Sadie had been locked away down in the basement for two whole days without seeing anyone. The second the front door closed and he knew his wife was gone, Henry practically ran for the basement door and flung it open. He felt a pang of guilt, having ignored his omega for so long. She had no food, nothing to drink, hadn't been able to go to the bathroom... There was nothing he could've done. "Omega," he breathed, taking long strides across the basement to get to her cage. Fiddling with the lock, the door popped open and he swung it free. Though his body still blocked the exit.

Down in Henry's basement, there was all he could really ever need to stay down here for hours on end. There was an even a little hall in the basement that led to his office, where he mostly just kept his video games and other lazy hobbies, but also there was a little bathroom. Sadie would always need permission out of the cage to go, but there was a place for her to clean up.

"I'm sorry I was gone for so long, omega. Had a lot of loose ends to tie up." Henry raised his arms, grabbing the bars on either side of him as he looked down at Sadie in her nest. Poor thing looked exhausted, starved and her eyes were red and puffy. Like she'd been crying the whole time he was gone. It was the only thing that had been able to make Henry feel a little remorseful. "C'mere to me, sugar. Hungry? Let's get you cleaned up."

Sadie had convinced herself that it couldn't be more than a few hours before Henry would come back down to her. She had nothing to drink or eat that she could get to. There was no way that Henry would leave her down here for long enough that that would become a problem. Sadie had convinced herself of that at first except it took even longer than she would have ever even thought was possible. Beginning to pace back and forth in the cage, Sadie whined as she tried to ignore her need to relieve herself. She leaned against the bars of the cage. "Dad?" She called, desperate to be let out so she could go to the bathroom. Her lips parted as her cheeks turned bright red as she was forced to wet herself.

She had managed to calm herself down before that, only to break down all over again. Sadie peeled her shorts and underwear off, leaving them in a small pile in the corner of the cage, as far from her as she could get. Returning to the hammock, Sadie wrapped the blankets tightly around her body before laying down. Crying herself to sleep, Sadie slept for the better part of the day. When she awoke, Sadie had no clue what time it was or what day it was. The hours seemed to drag by and she repeated crying herself to sleep, time and time again

Sadie had all but buried herself beneath the blankets, her head pounding since she hadn't eaten in days, her energy all but gone as she stared at the ceiling. She had tried yelling out to Henry to let her out after the first time she had woken but that had proved useless because Henry either couldn't hear her or he didn't care, she had no idea.

When Henry appeared on the stairs, Sadie felt her entire body tense as she lifted her head a few inches. She wanted to ask Henry what was going on, why he had left her down here for so long but even the thought of speaking was draining what little energy she had. She started to shake her head, grimacing at the movement. No, she didn't want to clean up knowing that she didn't have any pants on. "Can.. water? Please?" She managed the words, her eyes fluttering shut as she lowered her head back to the pillow in the hammock.

The frown on his face only grew when he realized Sadie would barely even move. The exasperation was written all over her face, she was pale and he was trying to ignore the soiled crumpled pile of pants in the corner. Stepping into the cage, Henry moved over to the hammock and carefully brushed back a few strands of Sadie's hair. He only left her alone so long because he knew she'd be fine. He couldn't risk sneaking down to her in the middle of the night and being caught, when cops were in and out of their home. They had only wanted to examine around and inside her bedroom, but he didn't want to draw any attention to how much time he spent in his basement.

"We don't have all the time in the world," Henry sighed, pulling the blankets from Sadie's body, before thinking about it. He had felt so negligent that his omega had been forced to wet herself, trying so badly to ignore the evidence that he honestly hadn't thought of her being indecent. All he could think about was how he wanted to get her up and in the shower, so he could get some food in her before her mother got back. His eyes instantly fell to her young body, a blush rising to his face as he licked his lower lip. Her scent was everywhere in the room now that he'd peeled the blankets away from her. Her legs and cunt were so smooth and mouthwatering, Henry almost couldn't pull his eyes away.

"C'mon omega," he repeated, his voice lowering as he tossed the blankets to the side. Opening his arms for her, he reached down and offered her a hand to help her out of her nest. Finally running his eyes back up her body to meet her face again. "Shower first, gotta clean the mess off of you." He whispered, pulling her up against his chest the second she took his hand. His cock was throbbing, pressing hard against his jeans and he wondered if she could feel it. Part of him had expected it to go this way, for him to feel these things once he got his daughter alone, but he had never thought he'd act on them...

Sadie shrank away from Henry's touch when he brushed her hair away from her face. She wanted to ask him if she could just go upstairs. She'd eat something small before retiring to her bedroom. A few days locked away from people had been enough to break her as she stared up at Henry and she wondered if she could tell him that. Would he believe her? She didn't think so. Sadie attempted to swallow, only to dissolve into a coughing fit. She managed to calm down, letting out a low whimper when Henry yanked the blankets away from her. Her hands shot down to cover herself as much as she could, a little blush covering her cheeks. "S-Stop.. Need a.. blanket," she tested her voice, only to tense all over again when Henry's voice lowered.

Her body moved of its own accord, unable to deny an alpha's command regardless of what it was or what alpha it came from. Sadie squirmed when she was pulled against Henry's chest, her body going rigid when she felt him. There was no ignoring it and it made a sense of dread wash over her. Her hands dropped to her waist and she whined as she pulled at the fabric of her tank top, trying to hide from him as much as she could. The movement only served to display her cleavage as she took a dreaded step forward.

"C-Can... can I shower? Just.. by myself?" Sadie's voice was low as she spoke, her head lowered. She hadn't so much as taken another step, afraid of what would happen if she upset Henry. She could tell she needed to be careful if she wanted to get through this. She had no idea what Henry was planning but she was almost sure that whatever it was, she wanted no part of it. "I'll be fast b-but.. but I need clothes. And I don't... don't have any down here."

Henry wasn't worried about Sadie getting away from him. As far as he was concerned, that would never happen. When she finally listened to him and began to crawl out of her nest, he sighed and dropped his arms back to his sides, pleased. Sadie was obviously nervous, tugging at the bottom of her tank top to try and keep herself hidden, but it didn't help much, if anything it made it worse. The thin material of her shirt pressed down against her breasts, but the further she drug it down, the more her breasts spilled out over the top. Henry forced himself to look away, trying to ignore the filthy thoughts in his head.

He scooped the blankets up off of her nest, before stepping over into the corner and grabbing her damp underwear and pants. He'd wash them all why she showered, making sure she'd have a clean nest to come back down to. "We don't have long. You'll keep the door open when you're in there." Henry led her out of the cage and back upstairs. Normally, she'd only used the bathroom in the basement, but with needed to wash her clothes and get some food, Henry wanted to make sure she was always in his sight.

The large bathroom on the first floor also housed the washer and dryer. And conveniently, it was right next to the kitchen. She wouldn't be able to tiptoe by him if she tried. Henry dropped all of the clothing and her blankets into the washer, before eagerly grabbing for the detergent. Her scent was heavy and everywhere, fogging his mind up... The fresh scent of laundry detergent didn't do much to mask it. Closing the lid, he turned back to Sadie, who was still just desperately wanting him to leave so she could undress finally in peace.

"You act like I've never seen you before," Henry breathed, the realization of that they were alone finally settling in on him. Pushing away from the washer, Henry stepped closer to Sadie and his hands found the bottom of her shirt. It was pulled tightly against her skin, her fingers twisted in the fabric. "Let it go, omega." Henry whispered, forcing the shirt up her sides and over her head. He wanted to get closer, to feel her skin, to know how warm and soft she was. Dropping the shirt by his feet, he wrapped his arms around Sadie and pulled her against his chest, his hands roaming down her body in a way they shouldn't be. "Door stays open," he reminded her, his breath tickling her ear as his hands slid down the curve of her ass.

As abruptly as he had touched her, Henry stepped away, leaving her alone in the bathroom. That might've brought some comfort to her, but he was merely feet away in the kitchen. He could hear her every move.

Sadie's bottom lip wobbled as she spotted Henry lifted her underwear up from the floor. It was completely humiliating to be standing in the corner of a cage with no panties on and her father picked up the underwear she'd been forced to wet. Tears pricked the corners of her eyes as she listened to him speak. She frowned slightly at his mention of time. Time for what? She still hadn't managed to piece together that her being trapped down i the basement was going to be a permanent thing for the foreseeable future. That and that her mother wasn't aware of what was going on. Heading up the stairs, Sadie's stomach did a somersault as she made her way into the bathroom on the main floor.

She stared down at her feet, refusing to look up as she held her tanktop as far down her thighs as she could while she waited for Henry to finish with starting the laundry. She didn't exactly want to undress in front of him. His comment made her blood run cold and she was quick to take a step backward, trying to put as much distance between them as she could. Her shoulders pulled together when Henry closed the distance a moment later. Sadie tried to curl herself in closer, hoping that if she appeared small enough, that Henry might just leave her alone.

"I-" she tried to protest, whimpering as he peeled the shirt away from her body. The moment that her arms were free, Sadie wrapped her arms around her chest to hide her breasts from him. Her cheeks turned a bright red as Henry pulled her close. "D-Dad," she whispered, hoping she could reason with him but his wondering hands made her blood run cold.

Sadie didn't move from the spot she had been standing in until she heard Henry moving around in the kitchen. She turned on the shower as hot as she dared. Beneath the spray of the water, Sadie showered as slow as she thought she could get away with. She didn't want Henry coming and bothering her because she wasn't sure that he would leave her alone. She remembered what he had felt like when she was pressed against him. Eventually, Sadie forced herself to climb out of the shower before wrapping a towel as tightly around her body as she could. It was a thin layer of protection but she hoped it would be enough to stop Henry from.. whatever he wanted to do.

She stood in the middle of the bathroom doorway, her head lowered so that she stared at the ground in front of her. "C-Can I.. just.. go to bed? I-I.. haven't slept.. much," she explained in a low voice, already starting to tiptoe toward the stairs so that she could head up to her room.

While Sadie showered, Henry had hurried around the kitchen and heated up a plate of lasagna. Last night's dinner. While that was warming up for her, he made his way up to her bedroom and grabbed her a pair of sleep shorts and a comfortable enough looking t-shirt. Heading back out of her room and down the stairs, Henry folded her clothes over his arm, trying his best to just not think. It was easier if he went on autopilot.

He didn't want to think about how nice it felt to feel Sadie in his arms, against his chest. How scent had been so intoxicating and the curves of her body... He could see her just like that every time he closed his eyes. It made his skin crawl, but he craved more of her. There had been a few times over the years where he'd look at her and fantasize, but he had always pushed those thoughts away. Like sweeping them under a rug. But now that she was missing and he had her trapped and all alone, he worried it might be harder to restrain himself.

Henry laid Sadie's clothes over the back of one the kitchen chairs and after a few minutes, he pulled the lasagna from the microwave. Not long after, Sadie was stepping out of the bathroom and before Henry could even look up at her, she was trying to inch upstairs to her room. Pushing away from the kitchen table, Henry shook his head and grabbed her upper arm. "You can go to sleep, but not up there, omega. Go downstairs. Now." He demanded, his blue eyes piercing hers. "I'll bring your clothes down and your food. Back to your nest." It was his own fault, he shouldn't have teased her with leaving the basement. Not even for just a shower.

Sadie realized far too many things in the span of a few brief seconds. Her eyes widened as Henry reached out to grab her upper arm. She stood frozen in place, her heart sinking as he spoke to her. He wanted her to go back downstairs? She winced at the tone he used, giving the smallest nod of her head as her grip tightened on the towel around her body. "But, I-" her voice came out a bit stronger than it had before her shower, only for Henry's scent to became a bit more pronounced. It was all the warning that she had needed to fall quiet, shrinking in on herself as she started toward the basement door.

"I.. I.. how long.." Sadie winced, trying to decide what she was even trying to ask Henry. "I get it now," she forced the words out of her lips. "I'll stay at home. I won't go off to college. I'll listen. I-I.. I don't want to go back in there. Please," Sadie's words started to grow more frantic as she stared at the cage. She backed up, flinching when her back hit Henry's chest. Not for the first time, Sadie was realizing just how strong he was but that had always been a comforting thing. Now, Sadie realized she was afraid of him.

"Daddy, please. I-I.. there's no bathroom. And nothing to do. And-" Sadie whimpered as she looked up to Henry. Her eyes were wide and terrified. She wasn't surprised when she saw the anger written all over Henry's face. He was normally a loving and protective parent but something had changed. What, she didn't know but she knew that she wasn't liking the change in Henry's demeanour.

Henry watched Sadie head towards the basement door, already growing agitated from her first attempt at defiance. The way her voice had rose, how she tried to speak so sternly, as if she had any dominion over him. His hands were already tightening into fists. His brow pulled together tighter when he noticed her hesitate, stopping in her tracks rather than descending on down the stairs, back to her nest like she had been ordered. Henry completely blamed her mother, she never taught Sadie correctly and never allowed him to discipline her as she should've been. Sadie had never known how to follow an order.

Again, more begging, more negotiating... He straightened his posture, standing talk as he felt the anger coursing through his veins. Every inch of his body beginning to burn hot. Watching her take steps back didn't help, either. She bumped straight into his chest, her scent wilting from how fear was eating her up. Still, her father didn't care. She wasn't obeying him. "This is why you're going back in the cage," he growled from between his teeth, his jaw clenched tightly. His hand shot to the back of her neck and he clamped his fingers around her, forcing her back towards the stairs.

"When an alpha speaks, omega, you listen." He barked, ignoring how she cried from the painful grip he held on her neck. "It doesn't matter what an alpha asks of you, you obey, omega. It doesn't matter if you don't want to, or there's nothing to do," he mocked her, hissing into her hear as they got to the bottom of the stairs. He shoved her forward towards the cage. "Until you learn how to listen and obey, you're staying in that cage."

Sadie whimpered at his words, her eyes going wide when his fingers dug into her neck. She arched away from it, tears welling in her eyes as she tried to move away from his grip but it meant nothing. "D-Dad.. you're hu-" she fell silent when Henry forced her down the steps. She whimpered as she made her way down the steps, her body beginning to shake. Whether it was because of the chill in the air or her fear that was only continuing to grow, she didn't know. She had never seen Henry like this before and it was absolutely terrifying to her because she had no idea what she was supposed to do.

stumbling when Henry shoved her toward the cage, Sadie tiptoed into the area but she didn't stop until she was in the far corner. Sadie was trying to put as much distance between them as she could. She refused to look up from her feet, tears slowly sliding down her cheeks. Sadie was desperately trying to figure out what she had done wrong in the first place but all she could really focus on was her fear. Sadie shrank against the bars of the cage, trying to mould herself against them.

"P-Please. I'm scared," Sadie whined, her panic only rising as Henry glared at her. She had heard tales of alphas losing control when they got too angry but she couldn't even remember the last time that she had seen Henry angry. He was her dad, he was supposed to protect her. Not scare her the way that he was. She squeezed her eyes shut, bracing herself for whatever was about to happen.
