Chasing Fire

Kylee smiled as Spencer introduced her, she was feeling more relaxed. Hearing Spencer call them an item, she couldn't help as the smile on her face grew. Kylee waved slightly at the rest of Spencer's team before looking at Carrie, "It's nice to meet you too." She couldn't help laughing softly as Jack went and attacked Spencer.

Aaron listened as Spencer introduced Kylee to the team again. He was happy for Spencer, who genuinely seemed happy. "It's nice to see you again, Kylee," Aaron said as he offered her a smile. Seeing her nod, he smiled again as he watched Jack.

Spencer smiled attacking Jack back playfully as he laughed. He took and slipped his arm around Kylee proud.

Carrie smiled watching everyone as she took and heard her phone. Walking off she saw the message as her face dropped as she felt her stomach flop in the pits. "Not tonight." She whispered to herself.

Kylee smiled as she watched Spencer play with Jack. It was cute to see him in such a good mood. She instantly stepped closer to him as he slipped his arm around her, she felt safe with him.

Aaron glanced over to Carrie, seeing her walk off, he frowned slightly. He decided to give her a minute before following after her, "Everything okay?"

Carrie looked at her fiancé, "Yeah." Carrie said lightly.

Hearing Spencer’s question, Kylee turned to look at him and smiled. “I am, this is really nice,” she told him.

Aaron looked at her for a moment before nodding, “Okay, if you say so.” He smiled slightly as he looked at her.

Later into the evening, Carrie smiled enjoying this time with friends and family. Watching everyone conversate with one another. She kept quiet and watched Jack eat as she smiled.

Kylee felt so safe and comfortable in Spencer's arms. She was having a good time just watching the people around her interact.

Aaron was doing his best to try and not focus on Carrie, trying not to worry about her. He was happy to see her enjoying herself more as the night went on.
