When I think of the female body, I think...soft, and sensual, when I think of guys' bodies, I think of...hairy.
Whenever I think of male/male slash, there're not hairy.
I just tend to...censor the hair away. :XD

I think with slash, I like it when two men are able to be affectionate to one another.

I like the slash I write/read, mainly because I can actually see [at the very least] it's inspiration in canon.

For instance, Ryan and Brendon are obviously fucking. And Pete definitely had a thing for Ryan, even if nothing happened. And Gabe Saporta is a manwhore that is best friends with William, who is a guy and girl's wetdream [especially a manwhore like Gabe]. Jon and Spencer have a lot of time to themselves while Brendon and Ryan are off being couple-y.

One of the reasons I love FBR slash. :cute: It has, at the very least, a teensy bit of basis in fact.

:lmfao You said it. They're all totally into each other. :file:

It's also the reason I like McFly slash so much. They spend so much time licking/stripping/grabbing/kissing each other it's hard to believe they don't fuck in secret.

^ I guess that's also why I can't picture Ville Valo slash. Because he's already said in an interview that he's never been attracted to another guy. And he's only ever like kissed another guy twice. Sad

It's a shame. . .slash for him could have been pretty good.

You'll find that Spencer and Jon have sexy time a lot, too. ~~

    Slash?

    Mmmm, slash <3

Both of the novels I've written have slash in them. The slash in the first novel was intentional, but the second wasn't.

I have a ton of friends at school who also love slash, so I don't feel like the only freak there xD

Call it hormones, but the sight of two guys being together warms my heart.

It's not that I don't like het romance. I just find slash to be more interesting and fluffy and yummy.

I'm not really into slash or femmeslash, mainly because I'm quite the Conservative person and that it's very hard for me to picture it going on in my mind.

I don't know, I'm 15, but I still find two guys kissing each other rather uncomfortable. I don't mind that people write it - and some are also very good at writing - it's just that slash isn't for me.

I don't like reading male slash -- a little uncomfortable about it. I can't even see two males kissing in public without feeling a little weird.
But I read femmeslash, only started reading that recently, though. I don't mind reading it, but if two lesbians were hooking up in public, I'd be really uncomfortable.

I can only read femmeslash. But I can't do anything else.

I love to read/write slash. I read my first slash story on Quizilla--a Frerard--and I had no clue what slash even was. tehe
I was shocked to see what it was, but I really liked it as well. I found an author there saying how she moved to Mibba and voila, I found this amazing site. So, slash has done good for me, haha.

Some people would feel uncomfortable if a straight couple were making out in public, too.

I hadn't really considered writing it until I came here. I'd only ever seen it in a book once before, and it was a book about a kid finding out he was gay, so obviously there was going to be slash stuff.
I see it mostly as the same as Het. I don't pay attention to gender a lot.

I used to think slash was weird. Not in a homophobic weird way, but a "why would someone write/read that?" way.
    Now, I love slash.
I write AND read it. Mostly bandslash and original. (There isn't much other than that.. but still.)

    Femmeslash isn't bad either.

    Neither is Het.

    I'll read anything, really.

I don't read much slash fan-fiction, only by jeordie. and Dru.

    I like original slash.
I write and read it, and have recieved good comments on my work Pathetic, Ordinary Cute

I like slash when it's more than just two hot guys together.
I like it when it's based more on the development of the characters.

I absolutely adore slash, just because I'm mainly open to anything when it comes to fiction. However, I'm not one for fan fiction slash, I prefer original fiction. Something just makes me insanely happy inside when I read it, and not that kind of happy. Just this pure bliss of joy.

If only I could find some really good slash originals on here. No one has recommended anything to me yet. Sad

Yesterday I went to a concert and we were talking about writing and fanfiction. And some girl asked me, and I quote, "so do you write straight up fanfiction or do you write slash?"

Like slash isn't fanfiction? (When it's fanfiction, I mean, of course.) I mean, it's not straight, but it is still straight up fanfiction. Sometimes more so because there's no original characters, just canon.

I didn't say it, but I was slightly offended. Like my fanfiction is any less because I like to make boys make it with other boys. -eye roll-

I'll read fandom slash, but I'll only really write original slash if it's going to get descriptive. I'm a huge fan of subtext. Subtext, subtext, subtext.

I don't really write femmeslash (maybe a beta couple will be lesbians) because I have a very hard time writing women. I'm much more of a flamboyaunt guy than I am I girl.

    I love it.
Stangely enough, slash/yaoi is what really introduced me to homosexuality and somehow got me to support gay rights.

I've read a few slash stories I liked, but I find the majority of it just exhausting. In fact, I find romantic stories in general exhausting. Why are 90% of the plots relationship issues (or worse, lack thereof)?

I love slash, for well obvious reasons. I also enjoy femme slash and het as well. Most importantly though it has to be well written and realistic. Also I adore it when it's included in the story but not the main point of it, like a normal story that has the main girl and guy get together, except they are same gendered. Also why is everyone either gay or straight, do bisexual people not exist? That's why I'm trying to write a story with plot which has the male lead with female and male possible love interests. Also I can't stand slash fanfics with real life people, but then I'm freaked out by real life fics full stop.
