I do that sometimes, if I wanna keep track of them/like them a lot :] Like, if I wanna reread them, they're still linked to me... somewhere. So I haven't lost them forever :XD

I do notice when I lose subscribers and it is disheartening but I am always using it as an indication for the quality of my writing.

    I notice Sad
If it's immediately after I post a chapter I get upset because I would have liked to know what they didn't like.
And if it's because I haven't updated as frequently as I usually do, I get annoyed because if they can't wait for me to write the updates as well as they should be, they can just.... fuck off. :shifty

    So yeah, it upsets me.

Dur! Like, one story that I deleted, had 15 subscribers one day, and the next like 10.
Nope. I just move on with life with disblief. But there are better writers then me on this site, so I understand of course.

I get upset sometimes. But I don't really upset about it too. Because usually, if I lost a subscriber, I'll get two more subscriber after that. So, if I notice them, I usually just mad at myself and/or I just ignore it. :XD

I never get any subscribers in the first place.
I only have myself to blame for that though because I have been an enormous procrastinator at the minute and haven't been writing a lot recently.

It bothers me greatly, because I don't get many subscribers in the first place, so when I lose them I get a little annoyed. I think it would be great if we could see a list of all the people who have subscribed to our stuff, then we could see who stoppes and who sticks out until the end. It's just a thought. ^^

Happened to me a couple of times :XD

And yeah, I write mostly one-shots anyway so... :tehe:
But when I used to write chaptered stories, I don't think I paid attention on the number of readers or subscribers, I just... write and reply if there are comments.

I can't say I really pay attention, unless I hit a certain mark. Like now, I have over a hundred subscribers for one story, so if it dipped beneath a hundred again, I might notice. But I can't say I pay that much attention; it bums me out that I can have that many subscribers, and yet less than 10% of them generally leave a comment for each chapter, so I rarely check up on that number.

It amuses me when people subscribe to my one-shots, though. "No, seriously...that was it. There's no more. I promise I'm not lying to you!" :XD

Sometimes, maybe. It doesn't bother me too much, though.

I write mostly one shots now, anyways.

I only lost one subscriber, and I was pretty bummed about that, but meh.

I don't really care for readers or subscribers. I have 6 on both my stories, and the one that I like the most is never commented on (Expect my best friend) that upsets me. I would like to know how people found the story, and what their ideas are for it. It's the comments I look for not readers/subscribers.

But meh. I write for my personal enjoyment. Comments is just a bonus. I just have some days when I'm like 'I wish I had more comments' but most days I don't care. :)

    I never notice.

But on my most recent chaptered story, I remember noticing that it had 14 subscribers, so I was excited because I was nearly going to get another star. A few days later, when I went to update it, I noticed there were 13. :|

That's the only time I've ever noticed.

I do notice, but it'd only affect me a lot if there was a significant decrease in numbers over a short period of time.
