It sort of bugs me how Blood Promise is being released in late August. I'm looking forward to reading it, yet I'll be bummed that summer holiday is almost over. :tehe:

I hope the whole thing isn't just Rose though... as in with no Christian or Adrian.
I know there's a good chance they'll barely be in the book, if they are at all, but I can't imagine Vampire Academy without my two favorite characters.

I wonder if anyone will follow Rose? Like if Adrian or even her mother will while she tries to find Dimitri. I need this book! But I'm possibly going to try and wait until it comes out in paperback to get it. Stupid pricey hardcovers.

Ummm, I've always wanted to read them, but I haven't had time.

    Are they really good?
    Yes. :cheese:

I know what you mean, both about the holidays and the characters. I want to see how she will pull this book off, seeing as she is virtually taking out every character that helped build the story to this point.

Rose's whole life has been centered on Lissa, but now there is no Lissa. There is only Rose, and her mission. Unless they stalk her as she leaves, I can only see them coming into the book through Rose and Lissa's bond, and Adrian's 'dream hopping'. I want to see how Richelle puts all that together in what is bound to hopefully be another amazing book.

Edit: Ms.Mead has a working title for book five. According to her site, she is calling it Spirit Bound. The current release date is April 2010.

That is the amazing part. I can picture reasons why she would both kill him and why she would not kill him.
I try imagining how she kills him, then my argument for why she won't pops into my head. Part of the reason I am so batty right now is because I feel like I need to know.

Personally though, I don't think she will kill him. She might try, but I think he is going to get away or something else. Killing him now, seems counter productive since he helped build Rose up to this point and she has two more books scheduled for next year.
But then I think about it again, and maybe Dimitri has outlived his purpose and she will kill him off. Only August 25th will tell us.

Shadow Kiss was fantastic, and the final chapter was heart-wrenching. Agh. I love the series, especially the way I continually fell for Dimitri with Rose. The cliffhanger was so well-done and it was beautiful.

Meaning seventeen days of wondering what the heck happens and then another month till we get the whole book.

Cry Then we have to repeat the whole process with what is currently, Spirit Bound.

She's coming to Burlington, Massachusetts on September 10, and I live in New Hampshire. :brightside: It'd only be an hour and I'm so excited because I might be able to go. :weird But then again, that day is my brother's birthday so I might not.

But I really hope I can! Wow

^ You are lucky. I am in New Jersey, and there is no way I can get to any of her current signings.

Oh well. I have a copy of both the old Frostbite and Shadow Kiss that she signed. In Love
Maybe not personally, but she still signed them, and that makes me happy.
