I just figured out that you actually use the plastic tubes on an applicator tampon! Twitch I never knew this, and God dammit, I have none on me. I really wanna try it now. I'm so curious. XD I always thought they were just unnecessary bits that you throw away.

i haven't had mine since like july. most girls would be all worried or something but tbh, i don't know what's up but i don't even really mind. it's not like i particularly enjoy having my period as it is a pain in the ass vagina.
nevermind i am currently being slaughtered, or so it probably looks/feels.

    Ugh, I hate mine.
This site always has thread topics that I'm usually thinking about.
I'm one of the lucky ones who doesn't get cramps anymore (and when I do it's little to none), so go me.
Mine's always early. I mean, if it came literally every 28 days I wouldn't complain. But it's the fact that it can come at the least expected time and extremely early is what irks me. Fuck Off

Hey, does anyone here use a menstrual cup? I'm really interested in buying one, but I'd love to hear someone's honest opinion before I buy. Wow

^ Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Plus, I normally only use organic tampons, and those can get pricey, so I can see how it would be a money saver in the end.

Try looking at the reviews on Amazon. Usually people give pretty lengthy, useful opinions of items on there.

I've never used one before (frankly I don't even use tampons), so I can't tell you what they're like. However, they look incredibly nifty. I've heard you only need one. That sounds like an amazing money-saver. Although, I have to wonder what happens when it gets too full... it seems like something you'd have to empty quite regularly.

But I wouldn't take my word for it. I've never used it.

Oh, I hadn't thought of looking at the reviews on Amazon! I'll definitely look there.

It does sound really cool. And I think you empty it out about how often you change your tampon, from what I've heard. I think it would take some time to get used to, but it would definitely be a space/money saver. Cute

[edit] Hey, I was on Jezebel the other day and found this awesome post/mini documentary about menstrual cups! Do watch if you're interested. XD

Did anyone get really long periods when they started the combined pill?

I started it on the first day of my period, and I've had my period for almost 3 weeks. In 2 days I start my 'break' week where you're supposed to get your period. Will I have it all that week as well?

    It's driving me crazy. Twitch

I used to never get cramps while on my period, but during the past year I get them at least once during the duration of my period. It sucks. Sad Not to mention I get a nasty gut and sore boobies while I'm on it.

The last pill I was on gave me 3 periods in a month... which was weird because they normally make me not have one, or have a really light one. It all depends on the pill and the person, but that's nothing to be worried about when starting a new pill... just a big inconvenience Disgust

Yay not having peroids anymore! :D haha

I hate having mine, but I love it at the same time. For some reason, I feel more....cleansed after I have it O_o.

I hate it though because it's annoying, messy, and I PMS like a bitch. And when I PMS it varies. I rarely get like every symptom. The ones I usually get are sore boobs, mood swings, fatigue, and bloating. And my mood swings can get scary as hell. Cheese

I just started mine yesterday and didn't really even have PMS to be surprised. Cheese it was just like "OHHAI! I'M HERE!" Twitch which explains why I've felt like a bloated beached whale the past few days. But I really just wanna rip out my uterus right now. Twitch

Mine came two weeks early and freaked me out. On the plus side, I'm not pregnant. On the negative, I'm not irregular so it freaked me out. Like, I've skipped once since I got it (age 12) and other than that, I'm regular.

Does anyone else get premonitions before their period comes? Like two days before my period starts I'll just have this feeling like I'm going to start soon. I don't know maybe I'm just really in tune with my body. But yeah my periods are just gah...I turn into godzilla around my family. The thing is to is that I thought I couldn't use tampons because it hurt so freaking bad when I would try to put on in. But it turns out I had a certain infection for over a year and didn't know until I started getting some pretty nasty symptoms. But I tried to put on in a couple days ago and I did it with not pain. I was probably more excited then I should of been XD . I just hate pads so much now because I would have to wear a pantie liner. Every. Single. Day. because I had constant dischargeTwitch. Yeah...I think it's safe to say that I will be using tampons on my next period.

    Soo. Question.
If I had my period in the first week of december, and usually get it every five weeks (at a max of six weeks) and I still haven't had it and I had less than protected sex on dec 28, would a pregnancy test be accurate yet?

Well you should wait a week to see if your period starts. If it doesn't, I would go get a couple tests, because you wanna make sure you get it right, take the test and find out. If you want it to be completely, 100% right, get a blood test but that's only if the regular tests say different things.
Hope it works out! Very Happy
