My left cheek is driving me crazy. It's so much less swollen than the left and even though I had the bars changed to shorter ones last week, it's already way too long again.

Three weeks until I can change them and get flat backs. Yay!

My piercings just annoy me in general now. Cannot wait for these three weeks to pass.
I love my new studs for my cheeks. In Love

I just got my tragus done about twoish weeks ago and it's really starting to heal, which is wonderful, it's not bleeding at all anymore (it only bled for the first four day though) and now it's getting a lot better, it's not as red and it's getting more use to being there in general.

My tragus piercing brings up my count to five. Four lobe and the one tragus. I'm hopefully finishing up my grade twelve year with seven.

Does anyone have any advice/tips on getting an industrial done? Like cost, care, all that stuff?

Another thing that my boyfriend's sister did was she got the one hole put it for her industrial (a helix piercing) and then waited for it to heal before getting the other piercing (anti-helix piercing), waiting for that one to heal, then putting in a bar. Would that be a good idea or not? She said it didn't hurt very much, she cleaned the piercing as she would any other cartilage piercing then when she put in the bar they were sore just due to the weight.

Got my ring changed to a bar and its a PFTE one because my piercing was going very red and weepy, have to go back in 3 weeks for him to have a look, the redness is nearly gone already and its not weeping as much, very happy already, was getting worried that it was infected. And it's not! Crazy

Oh my gosh, that makes me so happy. My cheeks are all fucked up and I've ordered PTFE bars so hopefully they will help!

My industrial was definitely the worst piercing pain wise for me. I got it done and put the bar in immediately, but I've heard of getting two helix piercings and changing it to a bar... which might be a good idea, too. I've never really looked too much into it.

Mine only cost me fifty dollars, but the piercer I went to always charged really cheap. I've seen them go high as 115 dollars, so it varies I guess. My best advice for getting it done is take some painkillers before and after, and don't freak yourself out too much.

As for aftercare, I used saline solution, but I also used a contact solution with a dripper to get the parts harder to reach, and harder to clean(like the inside of the ear, hard to explain). I also didn't change mine for almost a year, because it's really sensitive. Definitely take care not getting your hair and clothes stuck on it. That's a piss off. Mr. Green

Awww, good luck with them, I love the look of them. Cute

I can't get my lip redone, I'm a dental nurse, wouldn't be a very professional piercing for the job. Only bad thing about it, I can get away with my nose but any other facial piercings are seen as not a good idea. Sad

I just had to take them out today. I was changing them and it was total carnage. I just left them out because I didn't want to jeopardise my face. Shocked Well, second time to learn a lesson is a charm. Shifty

Aw, that sucks. I can see why though, it might be a little odd. "/

I would really love to have a side vertical labret piercing but I don't know where to go in Manhattan/NY,NY. I want someone super professional, seeing as this is my first piercing, aside from my ears. I was also wondering what people think - I mean, I have relatively small lips, so I'm not sure if it'd look good on me? I'm between a labret and a side lower lip piercing. Help a n00b out? haha

I got a set of spider bites a couple of months back and I've downsized but I'm still getting the inner bar caught in my teeth when I eat. I've tried downsizing again, but the bar was too short and it dug in. I'm sort of at a loss as of what to do..

Okay so I have 15 piercings including; 12mm stretchers, septum, smiley, labret, monroe, tongue, tongue web and ears and I did have hips. What stands out most to me from reading on here and watching on Youtube, is A. How anti stretching with tapers people are and B. How people are so against home piercings. Over the two years it took me to stretch my ears all I used was tapers and they are perfectly fine and yes I did infact wear them all the time, that is all I used to wear in my ears, the majority of the people I know with stretched ears also used them and have had no problems. As for the home piercings, most of mine I did myself and have done most of my friends piercings and suprise suprise they all healed as good as a profesional some actually better. So yeah that's just my thoughts :)

I have quite a few piercings (as you can see in my picture.)
I absolutely love them. Personally, I think they're addicting.
I got my first piercing (not including ears) when I was fourteen.
That was my septum. Then at fifteen I got snakebites, but I
had to take them out. *sadface* Then at sixteen, I got my
caninebites. I've also done a few self piercings : frowny,
tongue web, smiley, and bellybutton. I only have my tongue
web still in. But there's still tons more piercings I want :3

I have 3 ear piercings in each ear, the first hole on both ears I am currently stretching (stuck at 2g). I also have my left nostril pierced.
I want to get my septum pierced, but my work place doesn't allow any piercings other than ear. I take my nostril piercing out everyday.
Now, with septum piercings, I was wondering how long do you have to wait before you can flip it up into your nose, to hide it? I know if you do it too soon, it can damage your septum.

Six weeks is pretty much average (that's when you can change the jewellery). It does depend on the individual though. If you talk to your piercer, they might put it in flipped up for the healing period, so it's hidden straight away.

I'm really annoyed 'cause I used to have my belly button and the top of my ear pierced, but I've lost both of them from drunken nights out and they've now closed up ;(
Feel like I've wasted money on getting them pierced now.

It's just I really want this piercing, but I know my bosses at work would have a hissy fit if I came in with one xD

I have my septum pierced and flipped it up straight after it was pierced as my parents don't like it, I have no problems with it
