    Oh awesome!
I just wanted to know if it messed with the healing process, but since you said yours was fine.

No it's exactly the same as if it was flipped down. I've had it for over a year now and it's never been infected or anything so don't worry Smile

Does anyone have microdermals? I have two, and I got them a little less than a week ago, and I'm just wondering everyone else's experience with me :3

Has anyone gotten an anti-eyebrow (pretty sure that's what it's called) done? I've been thinking about getting it done, but I'm not sure how much it's gonna hurt and all of the possible issues it could cause, etc..

I haven't gotten one but know a lot about them if you have any specific questions.

Are there specific gauges that you need to use? That's a big question I have. The stores I'm near only sell jewelry for certain piercings, and only a few different sizes.

I have my dimples pierced, and a 12g septum spiral. My only issue is all the unwanted attention it attracts. I've had both piercings for about two years now, and it's still an every day thing. People come up in the middle of me having a conversation with someone else, or will scream at me in public, and I don't really mind it, it's actually kind of flattering, but after a while, it gets old having to deal with the same questions and reactions every day. "Did that hurt?" or "Why would you do that? Oh gawd that looks like it hurt, you're so pretty, you don't need all that metal on your face!"

Anyone else going through this? Cry It's been two years and I still don't know how to handle it!

Everyone always asks me if my tongue ring or lip ring hurt. It's a natural reaction to piercings. When I first got my lip pierced, people used to tell me that I shouldn't have gotten it done and asked me what I got it done for. It gets old, I know. But you have to get used to it. People who don't have piercings are either curious about them and if they hurt because they want one or because they're just curious. Or they're just rude so they think they have to make those comments because they "think" it's helping you out and making you realize that what you did was a "mistake" and it really doesn't look right. Don't let it get to you. And take the people asking if it hurt as a compliment... I do. They're intrigued. And in a way, they think you're brave for getting it done before they could. XD

anti-eyebrow piercings have a 95% rejection rate. you're better off getting anti-eyebrow dermals instead of the piercing itself. a friend of mine got her anti-eyebrow pierced and it rejected within two weeks, leaving an ugly scar.

Damn. Have you been cleaning it properly?
I clean mine twice a day and it's healing pretty fast.

    @ recluse-
Yeah, I have. It's as if it morphs with my system though. If I'm getting a cold/flu, it'll flare up. When immune system is under attack it acts up a lot. I've never been able to take a good cartilage piercing though. I have no idea why.

I have my daith pierced and I love it. I got my rook pierced but I took it out because it started migrating. The place I went to for the rook was not an entirely reputable. Mistake on my part. I'm looking to get my rook pierced again or a snug.

I got my industrial just over two months ago and i wasnt having problems with it until recently. The bottom hole is healing really nicely with not a lot of pus and liquid but the top is a totally different story. It looks as though its almost been rubbed raw right next to it with a open sore and i find that unless im moving it four or five times a day it gets super crusty and sometimes bleeds. Right now im cleaning it three times a day and its slowly starting to get better. Does anyone else have an idea that may help with the healing process because I really dont want it to get infected

Nose piercing question; for a few months now I've been quite wanting a nose ring, but I wear glasses with relatively chunky plastic frames and I was wondering if it would look right or if it would be better with a stud? Also how much does a nose piercing hurt and how does it affect stuff like blowing your nose after? Thanks guys :)

I have 3 piercings. I have an industrial that'll be 2 years old next month. It's my favorite piercing. It definitely gets the biggest shock factor out of people. tehe I have a conch in my left. It's ok. It kind of sucks because I got a stud and it's hard to see behind it to clean it. And I got a daith piercing like two weeks ago and I absolutely love it!

Do your best to not sleep on, you don't want to put anymore pressure on it then there already is. The thing about an industrial piercing is that there's so much pressure on the cartilage. I'm in a similar situation to you. One side of mine is healed up nicely, but there other is very irritated. I took out the ball on the side that's sore and it's done wonders for it! The pressure is totally relieved and it's healing up now.

Hi all, I got my third lobe piercing redone yesterday (just on my right) about 4pm and it's still really sore (now almost 9:30 pm the following day). I don't remember my other ear piercings hurting for this long, is it normal that it still aches? I haven't touched it at all, as per my piercer's instructions, not even cleaned it yet - should I have? :S
