My first job was at McDonald's when I was 15, but I quit after two days lmfao. Then I worked at King Sooper's from 16 to 17. Me and about ten other people all quit over the course of two weeks cuz we were fed up with the management. Then I did telemarketing and housekeeping for a few months in spring 2011.
Most recently, in April I got a job as a broker for a speciality health/life insurance company, but I quit in July because I'm way too flaky for that type of job. Nonetheless, the district manager said I'm welcome back if I ever need a job, so yay for me and my total lack of commitment? lmao.
I've only ever worked at Starbucks and this Japanese restaurant. :| Starbucks, I was there for about a year, then I quit, then went back again a year later. I could only hang around there for another two years before leaving for good because my manager was CRAZY. :\ I don't mean normal crazy, but crazy touch your armpit/sit outside your house at one in the am crazy. I enjoyed that job though...
Now I work at a ramen house and I guess it's like my dream job. I eat ramen all the time and get fat, but I'm only there on the weekends~
I'm currently unemployed and need to find a job! My area isn't hiring at all and my girl wants me to move into her apartment with her and her roomie (also a friend of mine) but I don't have my driver's yet so I can't just up and leave. I might for spring semester. I'm really knocking down on learning how to parallel park just in case.
I got hired at Valleygirl as a Christmas Casual but I'm hoping that if I kick ass on the job they'll want to hire me permanently. Otherwise everyone always says retail is hard to get into and considering it's my first job, it shouldn't be too hard to continue working in it.
I currently work at a physical therapy office as a Physical Therapist aide and to be totally honest... I hate it. I don't want to be a PT in the future so it's kind of a pointless job. And the money isn't good enough to make me want to stay either.
So, with that being said... I am looking for a new job, haha.
I work at a pet resort. Most places pay 9-10 dollars an hour, mine pays minimum wage. And the afternoon manager I work with is bipolar and doesn't take medicine. She's a really big b-word.
I wanna leave so bad, but no one else in my area is hiring! :
Victoria's Secret Direct. Its the only call center for the company in the world and to say we are insanely busy is an understatement. Want some banging bras and panties? Give us a call! Lol.
I recently quit/got fired from Exel Unilever. They're the ones that distribute Sauve, Tresseme, St. Ives, Dove, etc. It's a crap warehouse with crap management that now hires illegal Mexicans. I made $600+ A WEEK but I actually worked for that money and busted my ass and that's still not good enough for that place.
I used to work at Schlotzsky's, a sandwich restaurant, but quit because it was interfering with school. I honestly miss the job, and regret quitting since now that I am trying to find another job, I am not having any luck.
I work as a journalist at local newspaper in my town, though I wouldn't consider it as serious job. The main thing I have to do is to go to the market every Saturday morning and then write what's on stock in articles. Sometimes I also write about current events, mostly that are held in my school.
I work at McDonald's, I was hired there three years ago, and I became an Assistant Manager one year ago, now I'm about ready to head a department in the store. Stressful as all get out, but I can't complain about the pay.
I work for a professional theater company and love it so much because of all the experiences and people, the costumes and feelings. Everyone I work with sets the work quota to being half-assed. Nonchalantly does everything not to their full extent and when I try I am just mocked. Though this is the downfall I love the shows and the small things I do to make the shows run <3
I just started working at ShopRite, I'm supposed to be a cashier, but they have me as a bagger for my trainer because my online courses aren't up yet. Honestly, I think bagging is a great way to get introduced to the quick pace of the job. Granted it's something I'm used to because of my volunteer job (it's a job, just unpaid, trust me), it's still a little nerve wracking.
