How Do You Like Your Nails?

Since I started work, my nails are as short as possible. No need for nail polish anymore, I've realized. It just comes off when I'm opening boxes.

I think I'm going to try acrylic nails. I've worn fake nails in the past and I actually quite like them, as long as they're not too long.
I used to bite my nails and the skin around them a lot, so now they're effectively ruined, even though I don't bite them anymore.

Pale pink, because 'nude' shades are really in at the moment :)

My nails are pretty long, rounded, and always painted perfectly in recent months. As soon as I chip one I have to repaint them. One needs repainting right now.

Though it would seem I do a pretty good job of looking after them seeing as yesterday someone thought that my nails were fake.

I like them more on the longer side, and I almost always have polish on.

I have been trying to grow them out, but my nails are so weak that they keep breaking. Whenever they break, I then cut all my nails so they are the same length. Sometimes I paint them, but right now they are bare.

I consider myself lucky to have square shaped nails. I tend to keep them short because 1) I hate when things get stuck under them (I tend to cook/bake a lot, and dirt - ew.) and 2) My nails are weak and thin. Everytime I let them grow , one or two tends to break and I have to clip them all and we're back to shortness. So I don't really bother to let them grow.

As for nail polish, it's either all natural or all perfectly painted. Always.

I don't do anything with them. I sometimes paint them, but mainly black, purple, red, silver, and trim them when they get long.

And I think fake nails are gross. And I also agree they look trashy.

Then they grow out while they're painted black... and when the paint chips off I bite them. It's a vicious circle.

for some reason my mom refuses to let me get tips or any kinda manicure... so i settle for painting my nails random colors xD

right now my fingers are a dark gray and my thumbs are black

Bitten down as far my skin will permit me, and I used to paint them black, but I don't anymore, I found it was more hassle than anything else.
