How Do You Like Your Nails?

I attempt to keep up my nails but nervosity gets the better of me and I end up disgustingly ripping them off. Horrible habit of mine.

Thankfully for me, I have deep nail beds and a natural curvature (somewhat of a square cut) and it doesn't look half-bad even though it is "short".

My favorite nail color so far, besides black, would be Sephora by OPI called "I'm with Brad". At least, I think that's what it's called. More of a bourbon kind of color, it has a slight shimmer to it in the sunlight.

If I have time, the way I'd like to dress it up would be painting two coats of rainbow glitter over it, adding a few rhinestones, and then lacing the top coat with MAC's overlaquer.

I try keeping them long. But I pick at them. It's a nervous habit. my thumb nails are pretty long though. Good for my ukulele. lol

I reall enjoy when my nails are somewhat long, and painted..but that never happens.

Seeing as I play guitar, I have to keep them trimmed, and my job only allows for subtle, natural nail polish :X

I always cut my nails as short as I can. I go through phases of painting them vs. keeping them bare. Right now they're bright blue and I just bought purple and yellow nail polish today. :]

But how do you do anything with nails that long?
It just seems ridiculous to me.

I just got a lovely acrylic french manicure. Not to long and not too short. <3 I love it.
Now, if lets see how long it lasts. I usually get fed up with them in a week.

Bare, clear gloss, or pretty nudes and pales like gold and taupe and pale pinks. Once Kaitlyn talked me into trying this polish that mirrored space in all its confusion with all sorts of sparkles and colors and it was quite pretty, as well. I keep them all lengths.

I really don't take care of my nails at all, which really is a pity. they're really weak so they always break off, therefor, are really short. However, despite this, I adore painting them in cute designs. Right now, they are painted in a plaid pattern with sparkley pinks, blues, and browns. Sounds kind of ridiculous, but they're actually very subtle.

I like my nails long with eight of them painted on color and one on each hand with a pretty design.

I'd love to grow mine out, but I think they're too brittle. I usually do them up in nude or mocha colours, but if I can get them to grow out, I have a few designes in mind. I'd also like to try the stick on polish designe in zebra and black/clear paisley.

I have my toenails metallic blue, and my fingernails extremely dark purple :)
I've only done pretty designs once... I just don't have the patience!

My fingernails are pretty long, and are almost always unpainted, as I'm too lazy to do anything, plus it'd really irk me to be wearing, say, purple and blue and yellow, yet randomly have red nails from two days ago that I don't wanna take off yet.

Clean and trimmed. Occasionally a clear top coat.

I have this dark red color, OPI's Suzi Says Da, that I like on my toes occasionally, but that's it.

I don't really care what they look like, not anymore. I'm mostly concerned with 'will they get in the way?'
I polish them sometimes though, it stays on for all of 3 days and then all chips off to where there's barely any remnants of the color that had been on there. So, I like having them plain, there's no way I'd waste the time doing anything creative when it'll chip off so soon.

I got my nails done, gel french-tips, and it completely ruined them. So now I just keep them short and painted.

When I don't paint them, I like them not too long, but not too short. But when they get too long, I'll just trim them all the way down, then let them grow back a bit. I try to keep them at a certain length.

When I DO paint them, I prefer them a little longer than shorter. I don't like the way nail polish looks on short nails..That's just me though.

And I usually have them painted some purple color, a darker red, burgundy, and sheer-er colors. Sometimes black too, I don't paint them black as often as I used to.
I also just buy any brand really. I prefer OPI, but I'm too broke for that. I had two OPI ones I loved, but I used up all of one, and the other ended up falling somehow from my nightstand a shattered all over the floor D: Now I have to buy it on Ebay because it's discontinued -__- But luckily I found almost the exact color in Forever 21 xD Their brand is pretty decent.

I don't do anything special with them though other than that. I don't like doing designs on them and I don't like fake nails either...so, yeah.
