Actually, I know a few guys who keep their nails half an inch long so they can pluck songs better on guitar and stuff. :tehe:

Yeah alot of people do that. They keep one hand long so they can pluck the strings and another hand short so they can press down on the strings. :tehe:

It's just easier for me, playing the guitar and stuff.
And I feel better when they're short.

Usually, they're black. Chipped, of course. I don't repaint them until it's almost gone. Lazy. :file:

I love my nails black. I love the color black, but more so, I love the way the black looks on my nails. My hands are pretty pale to me, and the contrast between the colors has always fascinated me.

I also paint them blood red, blue, and lime green with black. Depends on my mood, or how lazy I'm being.

I really can't stand to have my nails bare these days.

As far as length and stuff. I like to have my nails kind of long. They grow pretty fast, but they're so brittle, they never stay long. They are constantly breaking and chipping, which makes me peel off or pick at the uneven parts. I really wish my nails were stronger.

If one hand has short nails then I have to make the other one short as well. All the lengths have to be even.

i always bite mine off. i look kind of ridiculous with long nails because my hands are really small and my fingers are kind of stubby. plus i play guitar and am generally a twitchy, squirrelly nervous kind of person so long nails wouldn't last too long on me. :tehe:

however, sometimes i'll paint them like, black or bright as fuck all green and let it chip away. i hate nail polish remover and re-painting.

I just cut mine nice & short.. & then paint 'em black or different colours. I go over it with clear nail polish with sparkles in it. It looks awesome with black underneath. :D

I really hope she means half a cenitmetre over the edge of the finger, and not half a centimetre in total, because that is WAY too short and would be painful and cause bleeding.
